Out on the mooch this morning Goblet Evo: www.cattyshack.co.uk/product/... Game bag: www.cattyshack.co.uk/product/... Apex and mustang: / john-jeffries-custom-c...
Great video, I've been doing 1 hour every night, finally managed to get groups down enough to hunt,so bought an Evo ,I'm struggling with hold over, and hold under, squirrels tend to be about 7 to 10 mtrs, rabbits might be 20,any suggestions shooting 9.5 do tend to drop off alot at 20,shooting 23 18 0.72 Thanks.
Good man keep at it and my only bit of advice that’s is effective is to get to know your frame very well, it will become second nature to be able to judge distance and then decide how much to hold over/under, if you have Instagram feel free to drop me a message mate and I’ll go into depth for you it’s @jt_fieldsports
JT Fieldsports has same conversation with someone earlier I use 8.7 steel where my shot placements on point I don’t need the heavy lead and stuff but it’s going to be one of those arguments that will always go on with catapults everyone’s different
If you’re getting fork hits mate the likely reason is one of two things, your frame needs to be perfectly in line don’t tilt it forwards or backwards make sure it’s perfectly straight and also make sure you aren’t tweaking the pouch or bending it, Grip the ball not infront of the ball
I only ever go for headshots mate, never ever aim for the body, but sometimes we all misjudge a shot, it happens to everyone but yeah as I said headshots only
Good talk lad so many ppl are fking are sport up by buying a frame and trying to hunt without practice absolute nuggets 💯
Hey brother! Great video from start to finish! Nice frame! Op #8 best skinner hands down! Love mine! Great shooting!
Cheers brother appreciate that and #8 is an awesome knife with it being so thin yet strong
You have some class catapults bro. I'm gone from framed shooting the last year or so. Did you ever try frameless
Why don't you use tube band for target shooting and hunting?

Great video buddy, where's the case from?
Great video mate filmed really well and completely agree with shot placement no need for big ammo
That’s it mate it’s all about shot placement and a clean kill 👌🏻
JT Fieldsports some people don’t understand that though which is a shame
Lead just isn’t needed if you’re skilled enough then you can hunt with very small ammo

Do you have any tips on how to avoid fork hits? cheers

@@jtfieldsports3865 cheers mate, yeah I never used get fork hits. but now getting them more often. reckon its to do with tilting the fork.
top vedio lad 👍
Cheers bud 👍
Would rather go for a head shot and miss than hiting it in its wing or body and not killing it
I only ever go for headshots mate, never ever aim for the body, but sometimes we all misjudge a shot, it happens to everyone but yeah as I said headshots only
Take a look at my Instagram mate all my kills are headshots been doing it years👌🏻 my Instagram is jt_fieldsports
