When I traveled to Thailand before, I would go to 7-11 to buy Thai fried rice and pad kra pao eat it in my hotel room. It was cheap and filling.

For many years, I have tried to understand why English and American people, who typically speak only one language, speak super fast and repeat things with an annoying face when people from other parts of the world don't understand their language. If you are in Thailand, you have to adapt to the Thai people, not the other way around. I have lived in Thailand for 15 years and have many American and UK friends. I also lived in the UK and Scotland for 7 years, and they all agree with me about this. I also have a brother-in-law from the USA who has been living here in Thailand for 25 years. He doesn't speak any Thai and complains to his wife because she doesn't speak perfect English. 😂😂😂😂😂
Who’s complaining. My uncle lives in issan he speaks fluent Thai I’ve spent time with him in the villages not many tourists have seen this side of Thailand. I have also been here 5 times. So the fact you believe everyone from the uk and America is the same is ignorance

There are 4 rich countries in East Asia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. You should go to them all. You will fall in love with them.
They have been to China and are going back soon. As far as Japan goes, maybe 30+ years ago their economy was booming, but not recently.
