- Quick overview of my detector and the functions on it - hope you enjoy!
Will be out with the small coil at the beach in the morning so lets hope for some decent finds. Any fellow owners out there??

Looks a great machine, I’ve still not used mine yet, enjoy watching your vids, keep up the good work, how’s it perform on land ?
This was done a while back now when i first started the channel with my old camera, i will get a better one posted soon. Its great on land but i always struggled to get any land to detect on so i moved onto the beach!

How does the CS4ZX compare to the CS5MX?

explain why you need both motion and non motion?
I think non motion goes a bit deeper. Plus on mine I find that non motion is better at ignoring coke in the ground while in motion mode this usually gives a single beep

I can barely hear you and I even had to shut off the overhead fan to hear you!!
Mr beach, do u still have this machine, I have bought one and its totally erratic, there's a fault possibly with the coil, do you have the machine to sell or parts. Coils ect
No parts I'm afraid if the coild gone then you will struggle to get another, why do you thing the coil is broken, whats the machine doing?
@@mrbeach3379 well it just beeps all over the place. There's no way of picking out the good from the bad signals, also non motion mode comes and goes, it worked for a hour then the next day was unusable, I ground balanced it, and did everything by the book, but it's definetygoosed, because it does pick up metals when layed down still and air tested I'd like to see it repaired,
@@jakedonnely4094 try it as follows: sensitivity at 2 oclock position , ground balance at 3, set switch to beach mode, turn off discrimination and notch. Then switch under contol box and pull towards you and let go. try that on your lawn so you not bnear any metal, also have to ask you not wearing steel toe caps boots are you, we have all done it lol!

No steel toe caps, been detecting a few years now, but obviously the machine is a new one to me, I genuinely think it broken, but I'll definitely try your settings tomorrow, thanks for the help. It's much appreciated, if it is broken and can't be fixed, I'd definitely buy one again, I like the option of motion and non motion, I'll try the settings you sent, and let u know how I get on tomorrow, thanks again for your reply
@@jakedonnely4094 Couple of otherthings to try, ensure the coil lead plug where it screws in the control unit is tight and the threaded piece holding the coil head itself to the stem is tight, if you have any movement on these two it makes it false.
