*James: "Of coarse you did darling."*
As an older person, I absolutely love how you spoke the truth about the party scene and how it's been glamorized throughout the years.
But also as an older person, I really love seeing how younger people respect and even idolize people doing their own thing. It was never like this before! 😁
Marylin Manson was Christina it was iconic performance art
Honestly my favorite parts of the whole movie were of christina..when she wad trying to drive the party semi!!
@SquidBag yes, he played Christina Superstar
Christina superstar
@@annasloan2349 and the cops pulled out of the truck
I agree MM is perfect to this movie
Party monster is one of my all time favorite movies! This was magical to watch. 🖤💖 i love James st james
I saw the doc and movie the first time 2007 when I was going trough a time when I was part of a group of young adults in Berlin Germany who, just like the Club Kids, went on partys in fabulous costumes, drag and makeup and lot’s of drugs. And I remember, I felt understood in a way and I found it comforting to c that every generation has its “Club Kids”. I’m also happy that those days are in the past & even tho I’m still a Drag Queen, I stopped this “lifestyle” in 2008 and I’m happy that it didn’t need a murder to get me out of it. But it was an amazing time and I don’t regret one bit. Thx u James St James for giving us “Club Kids” from all different generations this, so we feel understood and not alone! xoxo
Thanks God you added a comment, I've just started following you and your channel is amazing. You are pretty hot too, greetings from Venezuela.
James and I used to hang out at Miss Kitty's Parlor (No relation) when Party Monster came out. I was like, "Girl! Seth Green? Really?" You can see my kitchen in the E! True Hollywood Story of Michael. My roommate weaseled his way into being interviewed, even though he barely knew Michael. Youth was fun! I miss you James. ❤
Miss Kitty Fantastico hey! I know this is a year old comment, but are you referring to Miss Kitty’s in LA?
2 of hearts, 2 hearts that beat as 1 😆
I need you I need you

❤️❤️
I want audiobook versions of James' work!! He should read it out loud for Audible.
wow Seth nailed James's laugh
Party Monster is a club movie cult classic just like Human Traffic, Trainspotting, and a few others. Great at capturing such fine moments in history!
54 is a great one as well!
@@ImJustKaren_ Ya one with Mike Myers was great!
I used to watch Party Monster almost every single day. Obsessed. Love it so much!!!! I've bought two copies of the book.
That’s weird
"How can we be best friends if I never liked you."
I remember finding the book right when the movie came out as a closeted teenager at a local bookstore, and despite the messy drugged up end, feeling a connection to the Club Kids during their funnier and more fabulous moments. It kind of helped, it a twisted sort of way.
That bit about James’ apartment smelling like cat piss had me laughing out loud, and I don’t laugh out loud a lot.
LOL
Michael was talking about being homeless, on the Ernie, and Michael UA-cam segment. Someone asked "Why doesnt he stay with Ernie?" someone comented " Because he knows what he does to his roommates! ".
@@seerstone8982 not even a good attempt at humour my dear,,,
I really do love how honest James is
Rest in Peace Michael 💙🐱✌
Rest in peace angel? wtf
What a great Book and Movie... Thank you so much for Bringing it forward.
YAS PARTY MONSTER !!!!! Also I watched party monster this morning 😂😂😂
Edit: also first? (I feel stupid)
From canada here...i was a street kid in the mid-late 90s...im so thankful the club kids started the rave scenes cuz that had to be the best time of my life...macaulay and seth and all the other actors were fab...cloe too...they couldnt have gotten any better...macaulays work is under rated...and its good to see james doing good...some of us made it and some didnt...doing heavy drugs is a big risk...sad part is we were all willing and knowingly choosing the risk...fuck it...if we go out, we go out happy...
I got to meet James St James at a Houston Party probably around 2007 and it was frickin awesome!!!!! He's such a cool person and I wish I could have hung out with him more. Love you my fav Party Monster
I beleived culkins gay for a few momenst after that one he was so good there in the part written
*EVIL MUST BE BAKED AT 650 DEGREES*
(Did anybody actually *read* Disco Bloodbath?!? If so, you'll get it...)
hahaha duh
I own the book
“If letters had eyebrows, they would be arched” ☺️
“James, we’re two peas in a pod…”
“I pity the pod.”
I BECAME OBSESSED THE FIRST TIME I SAW PARTY MONSTER AND YOU MAY BE A BIT UPSET BUT IM TOTALLY PROUD OF HOW I LIVED MY LIFE BEING JAMES/ STRAIGHT GIRL KLUB KID! IM HAPPY I LIVED WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND IM HAPPY I TOO HAVE A STORY TO TELL ( MANY) THANKS TO YOU
the lore is legendary and notorious. RIP Angel and Michael.
I love grandma James lmao she’s sooo iconic ❤️💕
Such charming and intelligent guys. I love everything they do. ♥️
Watching James in the Nelson Sullivan videos and then jumping to him as 'old man'. He didn't change much, Rip everyone!
15 years? Damn! I can remember seeing it at a cinema in Brighton. The street outside the window is Hollywood Boulevard. Sounds glamourous but as you can see is the opposite!
Still fascinated by this story but I will admit I would love to see this story done with a actual budget.
OMG, James' t-shirt!! LOVE
Now I'm glad I bought the book twice, ( lost my original copy somehow over the years ), and Freak Show once, because James deserves his royalties!!
I love the drug dealers strolling around outside in the background and checking their looks in the mirrored windows. 😄
They're street musicians not drug dealers? You can see their instruments... 10:40
😂😂😂
Please write that next book James! The concept sounds compelling.
Love you James x a true glittering 🌟 and your personified appearance @ twin dohnuts. 💕 always the trailblazer xx
This was very interesting! Thank you for this video. :)
James St James has such an upper crust accent . We Love it
I love these guys, this is amazing
I cannot wait for your new book James!
this is such a good video!!
I haven't read the book. I've watched the documentary. I think I'm around the same age as James Saint James and I'm just now discovering this gem. When I was in my teens I remember my Grandma watching a talk show with the Club Kids as guests. That was my first and last exposure to this story until recently. I was a straight girl from Seattle. Club kids weren't on my radar. It is a sad cautionary tale. Very witty ,entertaining, and sometimes so raw I had to close my eyes. I liked that they didn't try to glorify Michael and tried to be respectful to Angel's memory. However I'm not Angel's family member. They might not see it the same way I do. Angel was a victim and Micheal preyed upon him. That came through for me. All the actors in this movie gave great performances. They all seemed tailored made for this movie. I loved the nods to Rocky Horror, my favorite musical. Well done!!!!
Truly iconic film!✌❤
definitely he should write that new book
James is so iconic. Xxx
Now I wanna watch it again.
I never read the book, but watched the move on starz? And have been fascinated with this " true" story ever since.
James was my friend character in the movie, Seth Green did so good I could believe that he was James not Seth.
Why does no one mention Freeze??
Tommy Crawford HONESTLY IVE BEEN WONDERING THAT THIS WHOLE TIME
WHO ? I WAS IN THE CLUB SCENE AND NEVER SAW THIS IMAGINARY PERSON
oscar p the other guy involved in the murder of angel, his real name was Robert Riggs.
OK BUT THIS WAS ALMOST NON EXISTENT WITH THE REGULAR CLUB KIDS
oscar p what?
James, your teeth look amazing!!
I love his teeth. I want James to get hair implants so he can style it like he used to 😄
He's really interesting....great interview!!
You guys! Please let Vinegar Syndrome release this on blu ray with tons of extras!
good to see them talk about Micheal Alig
What I would give for this to be a audio book!!!
funniest book ever. worth the read!
How do you open a door?
Always wandered why James sounds like Carol Channing when she talks? Its her friggin DENTURES!!
Culkin and Green really are amazing in Party Monster.
Trauma means never having to say you're sorry for bluntly and humorously describing said trauma to people.
How I miss my days in the NYC club scene - and I miss JSJ, too
Same here Maura... I promoted for limelight and tunnel 93-96 unbelievable amazing times..
Talk about the The fabulous pop tarts
I wish the book was available on Kindle
I wish I could write my father’s story 😢🎉
James is SOOO high!
Disco bloodbath is iconic
…….. is anyone else not fucking disturbed by how casually he said yeah because the body hadn’t washed up on the whatever yet…. Angel was still a person….. The whole movie is about being high and it’s honestly really disturbing…. Michael died years later on Christmas overdosing.
Why do people glorify this movie like it’s just really weird to me this is literally about a fucking murder .
You said that my apartment smelled like cat piss...... I didn’t have a cat
*"Oh how I hate heroin."*
Manson didn’t buy Mac smokes it’s actually the other way around. Manson bought his first cigs with Mac.
OMG IV BEEN WATCHING PARTY MONSTER SINCE I WAS A YOUNG CHILD! ITS MY BDAY AND IM NOW 28! ITS SO KRAY KRAY I GOT DISCO BLOOD BATH THE EXPENSIVE HARD COVER BOOK FOR MY BDAY ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO NOW!!! I KAN TRUELY SAY IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN HAHA YOU NEED MICHAEL ALIG ON THE SHOW PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! EVEN ALL THE ACTORS. OMG DO SOMETHING BIG
Thats awesome, I read or watched something recently where Alig said he's homeless. I would love to see him and JSJ in an interview! It sounds like he's un a bad spot, so that might be a possibility, for the right price! 🤑
christa mcl Michael is no longer homeless he is doing well
@@aydenbreslerman4513 that's good to hear, I truly hope the best for anyone
Where is Michael Alig? He represented it all.
Why when James was young he spoke normally yet now he has a Sean Connery ‘sh’ twang
False teeth
They should do another party monster tour and do a party monster acting challenge on drag race
James St. James actually sounds alot like Michael Alig.
Their laugh is very similar.
Marilyn Manson was in Party Monster?
He was Christina
He played Christina... F A B U L O U S ... sorry I felt like being cringey
@@babieofchat8667 that's not cringy. It's cringe that I either-
Never noticed that was Mister Manson
Totally *forgot* that was Mister Manson
Complete cringe on my behalf! 😬😬
Yes!!!!
The background is a bit distracting - regardless I love the content
Behind the scenes? Alternate audio commentary track extract more like.
you guys should bring unhhhhhhhhhhh back
We all love covering your claim to fame attached to murderers
Oh stop it....Macaulay Culkin was aweful. Seth Green was the star and even Manson did more research than Macaulay.
All were amazing. Only thing is McCauley didn't seem gay enough!! Seth, was definitely James!!!!! Incredible!
Two straight boys... right... not according to rumours
ole ru paul still fracking?
The movie is truly terrible, but it's a fun watch.
I like saint James Street James better
Bring Michael on the show
Third....Didnt he kill a man?
Cathy Robison Michael Alig did thats what the book, movie and documentary is about
@@babieofchat8667 ....I, for some reason, was getting James St. James and Micheal Alig confused. Its been a while since I have seen this movie. Thanks for the clarity. 😳😄😁
Cathy Robison all g
Cathy did you stop watching half-way through the video lol? Cuz that's when they start talking about Michael Alig. That made me laugh :)
@@meh.4161 Im sorry. I had to stop. (I live in a nursing home. Im 43, but have an illness that makes me need round the clock care) I had a nurse in room a couple times while I was watching the video. After trying to finnish the whole thing, I just added my question and went on doing my medical stuff. The other commenter answered my question. The end.
*edited for Spelling and some grammar
YAWN
I think Seth Green was definitely the star of that movie! I thought he played JsJ beautifully!! Wasn’t for him I wouldn’t cared so much for that movie tbh! Chloe did great too so did Marylin Manson.. I love JSJ anyways. Always liked him better than Micheal. James is much nicer Micheal was to narcissistic!
