The Great Deku Tree roots and the Light roots are two different things. Heck they have entirely different texture in game. That being said, very good observation of noticing a face that looks like a Dark Deku Tree.
I thought she was due to some advertising implying it at the time of release. I remember at our local EB Games they had signs saying ‘which side are you on?’ in regards to Z and M. Was also implied early on that Midna was the bad guy and you had to fight her, not fight with her.
Light and dark, good and evil...these are not mutually exclusive always. Zelda and Midna are an example. What we do in videos like this, is present you the ideas and allow you to flow from there! :3 after all why should I be the only one allowed to cook when the comments section exists
@@Thinkafurr Honestly, I was more so just joking about the fact that you used Midna as the example of a Dark Zelda when Hilda is *right* there. I’ve actually come up with my own Zelda theories, although only one of them is really big enough to be more than a UA-cam Short… plus, I don’t exactly have the greatest options for recording audio. But I intend to make my own Zelda theory video at some point, and people like you are what’s inspiring me to do so.
A bit of a correction: the Lightroots aren't actually part of the shrines according to Masterworks. They are just plants harvesting the sacred light from the shrines.
@@Cretaceous158 That is literally not what the devs said, the masterworks and other books like hyrule historia are just cash grabs and don't give a shit about lore accuracy.

Loving the implication that Midna is evil Zelda

not true, nintendo actually stated that they are part of the shrines meant to further purify the land.
@@tinycoinfromholland1391 The masterworks says otherwise. It says they are just depths trees that grew to harvest shrine light.
