One time, I was riding my motorcycle and was relishing the sensation of feeling the wind in my hair as I got on the freeway. What a feeling of freedom! And that's when I realized I forgot to put my helmet on! Oh sh*t!
So cool! I was really pleased to see my bike in your video; I have a 23 ST, and I put the same S&S Super Street exhaust on it. I also went with the Heritage Classic Forward controls with full size footboards and the Chrome brake pedal (the black one is too small!). I'm 5'6" and added Bung King 8" risers with 2" pull back with stock bars, really brought the bars into MY comfort zone. I have run the Mustang Wide Tourer Solo seat w/backrest on my last 3 bikes and love it. I ride solo, but the Mustang seat does have a passenger seat available; had it on my V-Star 1100 and my passengers liked it. I also have some crash bars front and rear, and a lay down license plate, cause 'Murica!
I’m fortunate that I have both Road glide and low rider st, both have different application. Road glide for longer rides, low rider st fo shorter rides. Both are great for their design. No regrets !!!
I am changing my Street Glide Special and I did test ride the Low Rider ST. I thought this would be my choice, but I didn’t like it!. The seating position with the mid controls was uncomfortable (I know they can be changed!), and I didn’t enjoy the fixed fairing as it reminded me of the Road Glide.
I’m not sure about the looks of the fairing and I think the panniers look odd, but the first change as with the normal LRS, is to move that stupid number plate.
If I was in the market for a Low Rider ST, I'd probably put floorboards on it (apparently the hardware from the Fatboy fits). I'd keep the OEM tyres until they needed replacing and switch to Metzeler Cruisetecs. Other than that, I would just leave it stock.
This might just be the bike to tempt me to HD after over thirty years on various types of bikes…. Lets see if they start to trickle onto the used marked more in a couple of years 👍🏻
I think if I was in the market for one (can't this year as already bought a 1200 Tiger) I think it'd be the LowRider S with mid controls and no fairing...I really like that minimal design. Generally though, it looks a great bike. Thanks for the video...keep em coming!! 😉
I think a Lowrider S or even this one the ST could make a perfect garage companion for your 1200 Tiger when the time is right. Cheers for watching and commenting. 👍
They put a 2:1 exhaust on it so it’s not stock. Which exhaust is it? I also noticed there’s a different brake pedal on it, what is it? I have a 2022 Low Rider ST and love it. The power is amazing. But the niggles of the mids are the small brake pedal. It looks like better with that larger brake pedal
I don’t really understand the appeal of this bike. If I wanted a large fairing and bags, I’d just get a bagger. The low rider s is a perfect, minimalist cruiser with all the grit and rumble of a big V Twin Harley. Plus, I can customize it to my liking.
Harley discontinued their beloved Sportster because they wanted to exit the entry levelm choosing rather to sell hugh end for obviou$ rea$on$. No wonder Harley customers are migrating to Indian.
Either you’re really tall Martyn, or that saddle is really low to the ground. Thumbs up for the video as always, thumbs down for the bike. T-bars, fairing, ridiculously small half-saddlebags 👎👎👎... it wants to be a Road Glide, but it’s no Road Glide. By the time you get done adding all the extras you mentioned, you could be on a Road Glide Limited. True, not a 117, but for the money I’d take the included comforts of the Limited over an extra 3 cubic inches of engine - pass… Get that Fat Bob out for a spin - did you come up with a name yet?
I just bought a FXLRST in gray and it is the most amazing bike I have ever owned.
Same, just bought it in grey and I'm absolutely in love with it.

Excellent garage there, thank you for commenting.
You can get one with the Rockford Fosgate speakers to Bluetooth connect to your phone for music.
Sounds a nice extra to add.

I want this bike. Since I am older and don’t wanna fight with a nearly 900 pound bike. I like the fairing. Just May put the music/tall screen on it.

Foot Boards wood make a nice comfort improvement indeed.

I would suggest a test ride they you will know....

In Europe it could not meet the emissions.

Sweet bike, nice job of reviewing💯👍🏽🔥 Although I weep for those in the UK as you all have to wear a license place the size of a gigantic billboard🥲
