I am glad you decided to keep the wide leg jeans. I thought they looked great on you! The 501s looked great also. I just think wide leg jeans look so polished and classy when the situation calls for it.
I have gotten rid of all my skinny jeans. I’ve reached this point in my life (heading into my 60’s) where I just want to feel comfortable and look good in my clothes without feeling frumpy and dumpy. I’ve looked far and wide for a reasonable priced pair of jeans that will fit me without having to take them to a seamstress or a tailor to make adjustments. At 5 feet that is almost impossible because not all jeans come in petit size. Sometimes I check out cropped jeans because they will fit me as a full length jeans. I also have a short torso so a high rise reaches underneath my bust. I solved that problem by looking for mid rise jeans. Anyway, long story short, about a year ago I found the perfect jeans for me at H&M and bought them in three colours. Although the tag says skinny there are actually straight cut. Now I’m on the look out for a wide-ish leg jeans , but not too wide. I have small bum issues. Any suggestions? 😊
Hi Karen - it sounds like you really understand the fit qualities that work best for you. I love that! Nothing comes to mind at the moment but I will keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything. Thanks so much for being here with me - I appreciate you 🌻
My biggest struggle in trying to migrate to straight legs is the length. I’m 4’11” plus I’m just not sure where they should really hit. I will say Levi’s are great as far as fit. I’ve bought some of there slimming line and LOVE them. Just can’t get the length right. Might have to try to 501s. They looked great on you!
Hi Danielle - the 501s come in so many different lengths you might be able to find one that works well for you. I appreciate you being here with me - thank you 🌻
Not a fan of wide leg jeans, feel I can’t move properly…..still a fan of straight leg….I do get annoyed with baggy waist! Thanks for trying all these jeans! Love visiting your closet! Cheers b 🐨
Can totally relate with the issues you e got with finding a perfect fit for both waist and booty - as well as being short waisted. There are so many high waisted jeans vs mid-rise options that have pockets in the right shape and position to make our booty look good. So annoying…
Levis look great on you and so do the wide leg jeans really like those. But more to the point , I couldn't believe that you are in your 50s. I've watched you for a wee while and wondered what age you were...I was thinking 30s, must say you look fabulous 👌
Uuuugh, that hate buying jeans, however have also looked at different styles/cuts for some change. The majority of mine are skinny. I have also dealt with the gap my entire life. The Levi’s did fit you really well.
I can no longer wear mid rise jeans. Because of tummy. There are high rise jeans that fit just fine at the waist, without looking way too high. Even skinny jeans. The skinny is slimming and elongating for me since I am not tall. It’s a journey to find jeans that are just right.
Wear the skinny jeans and love your look! We certainly do not need to follow trends that don't feel right for us. Thanks so much for visiting - I appreciate you!🌻
I have terrible trouble getting good fitting jeans. I have a big bottom, a bit of a tummy, short legs.... hmm might stop there, you get the picture. I hate it when the jeans are baggy around the top of my legs to the knees. I look hideous with baggy pants. It's such a nightmare. Your choices look really good on you. Next time I look for jeans, I won't settle for anything less than the jeans I like and feel good in. No more, I'm sick of looking, these will do.
Seriously, who cares if skinny jeans are out of style. If they fit your body well, that's good enough! The majority of young women I see are walking around in see thru tights/leggings. In a few years the wide leg jeans will also be out of style. 😂
You are so right! The trend winds blow every which way. Always have and always will. Wear what you are comfortable and confident in! Thank you for being here with me - I appreciate you 💖

I absolutely agree with you! The wide leg jeans do have a much more classy look. Thanks so much for being here with me - I appreciate you 🌻
Jeans are so hard to shop for. Thank you for the video.
So hard! Thank you for visiting 💖

I agree with your choices. They all looked good on you, but only you know how they feel. If it's not a "hell yes" then it's a "no"!
Absolutely! I am certainly in my “hell yes” era! Thanks so much for being here with me 🌷

Hi Bishka - the baggy waist is the bane of my jeans existence 😂 I can be so dramatic 😂😂😂 Thanks for visiting - it's always great to see you 🌻
You look amazing in those jeans!
Thank you 💖

My thing with jeans is that the days of no stretch are dead and gone. If it can’t move with me it has to stay behind.
