FYI it's pronounced LANCaster, emphasis on the first syllable (if you want to sound more like a local). Also, in the word Strasburg pronounce the 'a' like in the word 'has'. This video does give a good overview of the top tourist areas in the county. Also consider going to one of the farmers markets like Root's (open on Tuesdays) or Green Dragon (open on Fridays).
Home town kitchen is a must in quarryville. Food is fantastic. All cooked and served by Amish women. If you want a hearty inexpensive meal. This is the place. You don’t need to go to touristy places that mass produce “Amish” food
