Old school: I set a monster face down, I set 2 card, I end my turn.
New School: I special summon a monster that special summon another monster that sends a card to the graveyard that activate its effect to summon a monster then xyz summon a monster then link summon a monster to activate its effect to set a card from my deck then activate a spell card to fusion summon a monster without material then……….. I end Your Turn.
I could not have said it better
Back in the day when setting either man eater bug or penguin soldier along with a battle trap is the most menacing first turn move you can do
you forgot about negates and board wiped
@@darkira2129 you say that and his opponent got board wiped twice
new is just cancer
It's amazing how some old card can come back and just wreck things some times
Jip the good old cards are good .
@@WoutieX Damn right!
@@VagabondKnight97 Yeah! Heck the old school are really strong if used right.
I mean... this was vs a very bad blue eyes deck
@@guythat779 yo man don't ruin their dreams.
I respect the spirit, as luck is part of the skill (1/40 for Raigeki without draw cards, as old school draw are banned)
blue eyes is not New School tho
Yeah but they added so much support cards instead of just letting them be blue eyes. It's really not a blue eyes deck anymore. Other monsters a way powerful in the deck with good effects. I miss the old days.
Damn! You're so Old School that you learn the effects of monsters by failing when using trap cards against them.
I thought it was Tier 1 new school deck or something (VW,adaman,PK etc), but it was a brick eyes deck,
"New school": summons star eater
I mean he didn't even XYZ into Lublion
I love how it’s so difficult for modern players to grasp what this video encapsulates in less than three minutes. This is how a *duel* is supposed to play out; a back and forth where each player has their own strategy to win that can actually fail, not a wall of negates and a small list of must have cards for a deck to let you survive past your first turn of the game. If I wanna die fast in a competitive game, I’ll go play CS;GO, not play a strategy based card game.
Is feel so good when old deck still can play and win in master duel
...against a Blue-Eyes deck...
Which is like calling me a world-class athlete because I beat a bunch of quadriplegics in a footrace.
>blue eyes
But sure
@@TheTaintedWisdom to be fair it might not be a good blue eyes deck, or the opponent just get unlucky
It just brick eyes
To be fair Blue Eyes doesn't really count as 'new age'. It's old age turbo summoning and that seems new to people who played in the 2000's but really to see old vs actual new you should play a tiered ladder deck or something that's meme-tastic but can still somehow make three board locks on turn 1 or just has one skill drain that knocks out 95% of old decks simply by saying "nope you got a bunch of normals. Enjoy!" and runs over you.
the dragon spirit was wasted imo
Yeah, the miss plays shouldn't happen either to get a satisfying game
Also idk if he bricked, I mean he summon spirit of white instead of deep... probably not the best blue-eyes deck
The funny part is that skill drain *is* old school lmao
@@darkira2129 they had handtraps (maxx c and ash)
That was he brick vs old deck
nice to see people use old yugi boomer decks
Congrats, I am a boomer and I aslo play with old cards
Dude, this is the yugioh i know.
THATS AWESOME😂
Thanks...
@@WoutieX "more... gooooood... MOOOOOREEE" - fairy odd parents
Beat the famous brick eyes. Very nice 🤣😎👏🏻👏🏻
blue eyes ain't new lol. This should be called "Old school vs. Older school''
Just because it has the word blue eyes in it doesn't make it old there is only one old blue eyes and that's the original one.
@@WoutieX tbh, the entire blue eyes archtype is pretty outdated in today's standards. Summoning a single monster and setting a card like that blue eyes player did won't cut it in today's meta. I see you are not famliar what a modern deck can do. Are you a returning player?
If the blue eyes player just play blue eyes white dragon only.... You can call it old school but if you bring the support for it.. you cant call it old anymore.. you call it new yugioh...
@@hayatsyukurabdul3224 so 6 year old cards are new then, because that's how old those "new" blue-eyes cards are in comparison to modern cards
@@potatoexe5410 It's new deck, because he using new support, but.... like it's blue-eyes and not even a good blue-eyes deck... I mean if he summon Chaos Max He will win easily in this scenario.
Old school vs middle school
The other player looks like his deck is made like it was 8-10 years ago
A random thought occured to me earlier today: if you have Skill Drain, and you use it against Timelords, they essentially become giant sitting ducks
Yes, as powerful as they are and as much as I like them, it’s surprising to me how many old school cards absolutely wreck Timelords. Skill Drain, Dark Core, Compulsory Evacuation, Morphing Jars etc. Anything that stops attacks prevents them from bouncing your cards.
From my experience they are pretty much useless against any decent burn deck which doesn’t revolve around monsters.
0:35 Afther 3 months I realize that Ash Blosom is a tuner monster.
Blue eyes isnt considered a new school deck though.
Its really slow compared to new school decks that set up 3+ negates and boss monsters in the 1st turn.
Very nice even I had to go what just happened
thank you :)
I didn't know ash blossom was a tuner this is the first time i saw someone use it as a tuner
effect veiler is too, and ghost ogre as well
aren't all ghost girls tuners ?
@@dudono1744 I think only one is not, but basically yes. Ash blossom is already powerful without but with tuner ability, it is just a most have in any deck (synchro shokan emergency for ex)
Its a target for the crystron dude too
@@F38U oh, you mean "I'm in every single deck you can imagine if that deck has even a single Tuner monster" Halqifibrax?
congratulations you did it that cool bro (just win bricks eye white dragon)
Me too. I love the old school YuGI oh. Than the new yugioh. I hate every time they activage a card effect and special summon a monster 3 or 5 at one turn. It's really unfair like me i used to be
Bro, old school was Also able to special summon 10 times a turn, if You don't believe me just look magical scientist ftk
@@sebastiansalvatore8365 The problem is the amount of degenerate shit with SO MANY different cards now is ridiculous. Magical Scientist was literally the only card at the time that did something so stupid.
For anyone saying "Blue-eyes is old school", the card itself? Yes. The reason why the card is in the deck? No, in this deck Blue-eyes becomes more of a tool rather than a monster, clearly the other player didn't had the card he needed to do another summon and he just had him summoned just in case it could work... And it didn't work.
This was actually entertaining
Cool thanks :)
Goat format>>>>
I despise blue eyes decks! I love the card, but the decks make me angry, mostly because in Duel Links, all I ever fought against in PvP was Blue Eyes. I barely saw anyone play other decks. But at least in Duel Master I have more decks to play against, I've rarely played against blue eyes decks thankfully.
If you still play duel links i got a blue eyes inspired red eyes deck🤺❓
You know that guy was muttering about "absolute BS"
Great!
Nothin like an old school beat down lol 😂
posted a video vs blue eyes, not any meta deck, but blue eyes
"Old School vs New School"
ggez content
More like old school vs a little bit older school
Raigeki 🥺❤
Say bye bye to you trap card, cuz summon to Jinzo!!
como en los viejos tiempo
Epic
Sweeeeeeeeeeet
How do you get all the old school cards? Like what packs do I Need to buy?
Huh? Why did you set a bunch of normal Spells and Equip-
*reads Morphing Jar*
Ooohhhh
Old school vs older school
I turned my real life deck to a virtual version. Unfortunately it has only a 30% win rate (i used this deck 15 years ago.)
*Chef's kiss*
4 star 1900 monsters was the wave back than
Why does the player lose LP? Shoudnt the trap card add LP? Or am i misunderstanding something here?
Sadly, this was only possible because it was a blue eyes player 🙃
Blue-eyes deck is not this bad tbh, he might be bricked or using a bad version of blue eyes
@@darkira2129 nah, blue eyes is Bad against meta deck, i think Even hero decks can defeat blue eyes decks
this deck vs code talker or drytron and i can believe you.....
Quiero ver que eso pase contra un mazo de drytron xd
Eso no pasa esa madre ni de chiste ni con la mano perfecta le gana un drytron
Worst Blue eyes Synchro player xD btw brick eyes Is a fun deck, wonder if you could make an old Yugi deck that can take rogue or meta decks please.
Both are old school.. 😑
His first 7 out of 8 cards was released between 2016 and 2018. And if you can call a XYZ (Star Eater) summon old school then your school is not very old.
Hate to be Mr. Technical, but Star Eater is a Synchro
@@Sulidaire Oops you are correct.
@@WoutieX Synchros are pretty old tho
If you play only blue eyes white dragon yes.. you can call it old... But if you bring support for it.. you call it new guy....
this videos with bad decks, they are always winning against blue-eyes hahahah. lol
I would not really consider Blue eye new it got support sure but its no drytron deck
Now that was how yugioh used to be played wtf
What a game you gave me faith I can make a deck from my era
Someone always better than yugi with more money, and being put in their place
Blue eyes isn't a new though
You though that was new school pah! You got lucky on the opponent roll of you got caught with a stardust player ohh no
Umm... blue-eyes deck also not this weak, maybe he bricked or just 3rd rated duelist
Wow, nice duel! The opponent doesn’t look very strong 😅
because its the only duel OP win
Is there a deck list somewhere?
There is a deck list in the description of the video.
imagine blue eyes being "new school" lol.
Man you're against a blue eyes, c'mon. I'm 30 yo and I feel you just gave me false hope.
I can't believe he wasted ash like that xd
Old school win lets goooooo
Yuto will go down in history as the most failure out of all protagonist. Lol
Um... your cards are newer than the opponents cards
It's more like old school vs random for fun ( not only it's Blue eyes but it's also a very bad build/casual build.) .
Dark Bribe is not 2003 and earlier.
My bad I have updated the disruption accordingly.
That was true Yu-Gi-Oh
wait, i thought mage power was a restricted card.
It was....back in 2005
WOW
I mean he was playing against Blue Eyes
Es para espectáculo, entiendo, si fuere realmente viejo contra nuevo hubiese Sido otra cosa
Nothing matches these old cards especially the planned old decks 😅
Both are old school you know
at the end of the day it's still just blue eyes. I don't see anything special about this duel
Blue eyes not new school...
Even my very underpowered mathmeth deck which is basically just mathmech and some hand traps could easily beat both of these
Not sure if your are getting what my channel are about, I build different fun decks and then I try to win some duel with those decks I am not trying to be the best or anything.
So pure mathmech is underpowered mathmech ? Sounds weird, unless they rely on another engine (like herald rely on drytron)
@@dudono1744 i mean if with pure he means no other good cyberse (splash mage, Kid, ecc) it Is underpowered
Deck list? Please
I have placed it in the description : )
Of course it was a blue eyes deck.. Guess it just prove further that it's a joke archetype!
a mas teve sorte de sair o raigeki... se não fosse o raigeki não ia ganhar não...
foi muita sorte :)
forbidden memories is better
Blue eyes
0:49 yugioh players don't read
Lol yes sometimes I don't :)
I cant even xD
Its blue eyes
Your opponent is pretty much noob.
AHAHAHA
I mean... this was vs a very bad blue eyes deck
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh sucks so much
