You should have got the Amazfit T-Rex for $130. Also has 400+mah battery and 20 days battery life with AOD and 24hr heart rate monitoring turned on. Has better Bluetooth 5.0, processor and is Strava compatible as well. I sent my ticwatch back because it would only go 15 hours before it was dead. I get 16 days with the T-Rex using GPS daily for my 5K runs.

I have been very impressed with mine. I had a previous TicWatch and it was ok but it was right at the time of the transition to "WearOS" from the previous android watch stuff and it had issues with a stuck update of the old system. I really love the "essential screen" feature, even when the battery is "dead" it will still keep time for a while so if you forget to charge, you arent completely sol.

I work in a really busy kitchen and was scared the first day I wore it to work, mainly because I bought a replacement warranty I did it anyway, but it came out without a scratch even after numerous bumps and scrapes that I thought would hurt the appearance. Nope. I fn love this watch!
I guess now he's married, the priority has changed! He could have done the scratch test since he already broke the watch, but I guess the watch face has normal glass, and not gorilla glass. So it would scratch easily, maybe at level 2 or 3. Not a very good thing to point out if your are paid to promote..... One thing that didn't change was the apple bashing.

Doesn't suck the battery empty and is perfect visible in full sunlight. The more light the better! Sometimes it's suffering from a few slowdowns software related i guess. Bloatware can't completely be removed without ADB 'tricking'...
I had the earlier version of this for a while, but it died when the charging circuit failed. The Pro 2020 is the current generation, a non LTE version of the one in this video, and so far, it's working just fine. One thing to be aware of is that you cannot charge it with a standard phone charger. You need a low-power 1 Amp wall-to-usb adapter. Standard phone chargers output at 2 amps or more, and will fry the charging circuit.
I had a Ticwatch E awhile back and the OLED just died one day, going all purple. They make nice watches, sucks to lose them to things mostly out of your control
The amps rating on chargers is the maximum it can handle, it doesn't mean it will output this current all the time... The charging circuit dying has nothing to do with that. I have a 2 years old Ticwatch Pro that I always charge on 3 amps charger and no issue so far (except for the charging pins that get dirty and need to be cleaned once in a while).

I've had the old TicWatch Pro for a while, great design and durability but using all the features makes it slooooow. 1gb of ram might help but this new model has the same CPU. A few mm thinner would also be great, this thing is a chonker. Do the smart thing: wait for the Snapdragon Wear 4100 version.
