Hi, I’m a newbie to card making!(1) year in.. Thank you for sharing and giving me a new Prospective on my next card!! I just bought a bunch of stamp pads all the colors!! Wow!! I’m so excited! Mothers Day will be a hit this year for sure! I’m 75 and live in a retirement community and I make cards for the holidays and put them on the lunch tables! This is really gonna have me busy for sure!! Thanks! Happy Easter
What a fabulous, kind thing for you to do! I'm sure your cards are appreciated! I'm glad you're enjoying this wonderful hobby - here I am more than 16 years later, still loving it! Thanks and Happy Easter!
All of these cards are gorgeous! 🙂❤️And, thank you, for smooshing the leftover inks for future backgrounds. I do that too and it always makes me sad when other crafters just wash off their surface. 🌷
Really Ardyth, every time I watch your videos I am blown away with how creative you are! I wish you a million subscribers! Thanks for all the inspiration you give 🤩
I have used each of these ink techniques but these colors are gorgeous! With the pops of gold it elevated the card even more! My favorites are the one without a sentiment, the single large flower card and the last one! Oh who am I kidding they are all great!
Oh yay! They are very juicy so be prepared for that, it sometimes takes getting used to, but once you do, the sky is the limit! Enjoy! And thanks for watching!
I have decided on switching my inks to CP inks. Idk how financially, but it’s the brand I’m most impressed with for several reasons, but all I’ve seen you do with them is a big part of that decision. I have to say as the last year more than any other, I have really started realizing that I have a style of card making I prefer. I don’t always know how to get the looks I like but truthfully Ardyth, I think your entire stamp room would be my perfect choice for everything! I love, not like, love, every card you make. Although you make it look easier than it is, I love the minimal, but impactful cards. I also think they have a far more contemporary feel v.s. The very detailed stamps and traditional design. That minimalist and contemporary design is my jam! I have an extremely limited budget as I lost my leg in a car accident at 45 and am already on social security. So idk how, but my goal is to switch to CP inks and I love many many of her stamps for the same reasons above. So I would like to start adding her line into my supplies. I so love your cards and have been making a few 5x5 here and there and love it. Where do you find the best place to get the square envelopes since you must buy in large quantities? And lastly, any tips on when Is the best time to get the inks on sale? Thank you for sharing your creative mind and love of making cards. You’re so creative. It just falls right out onto the paper! Happy Easter!
Hi Denise! You know I love my CP inks and I'm sure you will love them. If budget is an issue, you can consider the minis rather than the full-size or you can choose the colours you know you love and focus on them to begin with. I think you're hitting the nail on the head (and it's taken me a long time to get there myself), of knowing what I want to make, and what I need to make that. I am finding it easier to identify new products/tools or trends that are just not me, and to not let them distract me. Catherine herself rarely puts her inks on sale (but she has done it a couple of times) so I would look at the stores that stock her inks (Ellen Hutson and Scrapbook com are two of my favourites) and may run sales more often. As for the square cards, mine are generally 4.25x4.25 inches so they fit in regular A2 sized envelopes, and no need to find square envelopes or pay extra postage. Thank you for all your lovely words and for watching. I wish you a very Happy Easter!
Has anyone told you that you are awesome…..well you are awesome!!! I really enjoy your videos they are very inspirational!!! Thank you for all that you do for us! Hugs 🙏
Your cards are all so beautiful. Thank you for sharing the Copic/CP chart. I never thought to do that, but I can see how helpful it will be! I love CP inks. They work so well for so many things. Tyfs :)
I just spent over an hour looking at that new site in Europe! I added a ton to my cart and when I looked to see how much damage I did it only took the first and last item! So I wrote them an email but I LOVED their stuff! I’m afraid now the things I really want will sell out! Thanks for that hook up! Loved that first cover plate you used.
Haha! I felt the same way when I went to that site! I also restricted myself to 2 items. As for worrying about stuff selling out, don't worry - there will always be new stuff that we want! Enjoy!
@@ardyth I loved so many things! They were really different from what we usually see and that die you bought was one of my top picks! I was really impressed with the stamps that they have in steps like we do stencils! So cool! And oh my gosh the does! Fell in love! Probably a blessing the cart app didn’t work! Hahaha you really are the card maker that seems to like the same thing as I do. I love Gerry too! Oh mega talent! Fantastic ideas Ardyth. I love your ideas for matching inkpads with copics etc and am definately going to do this also. Thank you so much for your creative ideas, I always look forward to your tutorials! Keep well. T x

All of these cards are gorgeous! The colors go so well together! I'm not usually a fan of those orangy earth tones (very early 70s!) But I love what you've done with them. I personally love the mint but would have never thought of combining it with these other colors! It works perfectly! I guess my favorite if I HAD to choose is the retro tile cover plate one. Could you use the double sided sticky sheets for that? All great techniques. Thanks for sharing! You're an amazing artist!
Yes! VERY 70s! I remember them well! lol! I think adding white helps to break them up and hopefully modernize them. You can definitely use double sided sticky sheets for inlaid die cutting, I sometimes find it a little less forgiving than my tape runner (in case I don't get the placement exactly right). Thanks for watching!
Oh Ardyth, I was trying SO HARD to resist these new CP colours… but you have made them look irresistible.
