Burger King, Mc Donalds “things you need”………last thing I need in Thailand.
Hotel looks like an 800 baht hotel. Dated, no breakfast but as you say good location and kept clean so decent value.
McDonald's, burger king, Starbucks, sizzler, pizza lol, looks like Milwaukee, Wisconsin.🤣

Very nice clean modern and quaint looking hotel there and good location too for a reasonable price.
Good having the shopping Ctr over the road too.
I could see the Hilton hotel in the distance so it’s bit of walk or Tuk Tuk to the centre for bars and restaurants??
It’s much nicer in HHin as beaches and place is lot cleaner and quieter than sin city Pattaya.

I concur it’s a great hotel stayed there several times & it used to have breakfast as well which was also good. I guess that’s just a issue with current situation

until I started staying in hotels in the UK I never actually realised what great value hotels over there were! I always enjoy a pool on the roof

Was the hotel clean ?
Been a good series of videos on your trip to Hua Hin, showing a lot of positivity. Far too many vloggers have just shown bintabaht at two in the afternoon and say it’s dead. Hotel location is excellent, less than a hundred yards to the beach and market village as well as being close to soi 94.

It’s 850 baht at the moment but usual price is 3500 a night.
It was 800 when I paid the hotel for subsequent nights. 3500!! I did get a bargain.

Better value than the hotels in the Philippines
Yes I found that out when I went to the Philippines on a Visa Run from Thailand the hotels were two or three times more money so I went back to Thailand the next day.

It's a big shame the fast ferry isn't still operating from Kao Takiap to Pattaya ....l used to find that a great way to get to Hua Hin or when going home I'd get the ferry to Pattaya have a couple of nights there and then a taxi from Pattaya to the airport ... much better way to to travel to and from Hua Hin

Nice One. I stayed there pre COVID it was great. Very nice staff who sorted out a motorbike for me and when I got a flat tire they got it fixed while I had a beer buy the pool. It wasn't as cheap as your paying but it was pre COVID.
I'll give you a tip. If you go a few metres up the road towards seven eleven the massage place on your right will leave you very very happy if you're lucky enough to get the same Lady as I got.😜😋

McDonald's and Burger King everything you need . Omg . Really. Spend 2 days flying there . All the money , to eat at those kinds of places . I can not remember the last time I was in one. .

August is low season so that hotel must be doing well.
When referring to the pool or pools Eddie, you say, “if you like that sort of thing”. Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t your preference to stay at a hotel with pool?
I do like to stay at a hotel with a pool, but rarely get around to using it.

I got a email quote from this hotel for my day one & day five PCR tests back in February, they quoted me 4000 baht per test, room and transport from airport on top, extortion!!!
I done my tests in Bangkok.
Rooms facing the main road are very noisy.

it isn't วาหิน Wahin it is หัวหิน Huahin I know that you can't read that, I am only pointing out that you got half of the word correct and the first syllable starts with the same letter as the second. Ask the lovely receptionist to say it.

First time I went to Pattaya I booked for 3 nights stayed 21 5555.
If you got a room for 800bht Ed that's a bargain, they used to be about 2500 bht on booking before lol

I believe this accent is where our American Boston accent comes from
some parts of NE coast USA they still have original UK accent.

Nice little hotel you got there Eddie. Close to a good market too which is always a plus point. Pool area looked a bit claustrophobic though - I’d be passing on that. Also anyone following Eddie’s videos and concerned about risking the complications of the Thai Pass needn’t worry. The entire process was a breeze and I had my PCR Test result 7 hours after checking into the SHA+ accommodation.

Good plug Eddie 👍, that is definitely my favourite part of Hua Hin to stay in, just a short stroll or baht bus away from most places of interest.
Could you see yourself retiring in Hua Hin one day, or has another spot captured your fancy?
Partial sea view & balcony for 800 baht? What’s not to like? Paid 1,300 for a similar hotel a few years ago. Wonder if prices will increase this summer?
They will increase if Thailand opens up as people hope and expect possibly in June or July .

Agree WITH THE PERSON THAT SAID THE ROOM IS A BIT SMALL, NEEDS TO BE A COUPLE OF FEET LONGER AND WIDER, ALTHOUGH A GREAT BALCONY FOR 2 IN THE ROOM. THE GUEST FRIENDLY RULE SHOULD BE SHE LEAVE HER/HIS ID CARD AT THE DESK AND THEY ONLY GIVE IT BACK WHEN YOU ACCOMPANY HER/HIM LEAVING. Sorry about upper case, I look at the keyboard when posting and didn't notice caps lock was on.

Nice Hotel .Very good value .Just that the balcony is facing directly another block .They may have rooms though that do not .

Good review Eddie, I think you now know Hua hin, Cha am, khao Takiap is the best location it has a bit of everything. Thailand 🇹🇭. 🇹🇭
There are probably some nice rooms with balcony overlooking the water also, but higher fee (12 to 15 hundred baht), but would still be an excellent value.
