    Oh my gosh! That smoothie was loaded! Thick! It's always fun to watch you make a smoothie or some other concoction because i love to watch your facial expressions. They don't lie. We get your first and honest reaction to the taste and texture. I'm glad that you're forthright when something is strong, because it cautions us to beware. We're not as acclimated as you are, being quite the experienced veteran that you are. Thanks for all you share with us.

    A salad smoothie!! 😀😂 Beautiful garden, John. We all need to be growing something.
    As for the vacuum blender.. why couldn't they have designed the top to fit their preexisting blenders? 😔 I prefer the stainless steel to avoid plastic-related substances touching my food. It looks badass though.

    Do the frozen bananas fully blend without using a tamper. I have to use a tamper with my vitamix.

    Do green powders thin the blood? I thought they make the blood thin similar to daily aspirin use…The reason I am asking is for if you go in to the emergency, you will need to tell them your blood is thinner from the daily green powders, right?

  • @noozall

    Wow, 4 bananas is a lot of sugar. You can get more potassium from beans. Good info on the vacuum pitcher for a vitamix. Gotta get one.

      Bananas when not too ripe are a great source of fiber for the gut flora. Beans have lectins and require cooking.

      I’ve eating 10 Bananas in one day. As long as you ain’t eating crap the rest of the day or in general, the body will adapt.

    • @noozall
      @noozall 3 роки тому

      @@Val_Cosmos Well of course you can't eat raw beans. No lectins if they are well cooked. Bananas are number 17 on the list of foods that have potasium.

      I have that blender! It’s great. It’s the best commercial vacuum blender at the moment, and probably the best vacuum blender of all. And definitely the best one available since Blendtec’s isn’t available right now unfortunately

    Watermelon > coconut
    Edit: on second thought, that blender doesn't have a tamper so skip the watermelon...

    We can't grow anything...our garden is done...our season is very short and now...😢Colorado has seen a large number of grasshoppers in 2024 due to a combination of warm and dry weather conditions in 2023 and spring. The warm winter and spring allowed eggs laid in late summer or early 2023 to hatch earlier and in greater numbers. The hot, dry spring also allowed more grasshoppers to hatch in areas with weeds.

    Green powders, meh. Use green leafy vegetables. Don't worry about getting them from 1400 different sources. There is a law of diminishing returns. Kind of a fail here, John, you were always a "whole foods" guy, but I guess this stuff will put some money in your pocket, so...
