I also use both the Xvive U2 and U3. They sound just as good as my cables. And I love not having all the cables hanging around. Thanks for another great video Frank
I've thought about going this route, but I really want to lose the mic stand and get some floor real estate back. Thanks for the review and test, Frank.
Have had these for some years. Think of them as the two ends of an xlr cable without the cable. You can therefore also use for example to connect your pa speakers to your mixer or anything else you connect with xlr cables
Given I’ve had luck in the past with used gear from Musicians Friend, I bought what was supposed to be a “mint condition” U3 system. Well, it sure looked mint but I realized (at my gig last night (always bring extra cables)) that the transmitter wouldn’t take a charge. Now I have to navigate the return process. I guess I’ll spring for the new one.
Awww dude that’s a bummer. Who knows maybe even though it looks good it got heavy use and the battery is just shot. These devices are definitely disposable to some extent … like our iPhones lol
You might be tipping the scale for me to go the same route, despite being a bonafide Cable Snob and Sound Fetish kinda guy. Can‘t wait till I get to the part of your video that address the quality of the sound as compared with cables (sure hope you‘ll get to that).
best kit I ever bought. been wireless for a year now. won't ever go back. for starters you can walk out front and sound check yourself .
Now that‘s a brilliant reason for going wireless! Hadn‘t even thought of that.
Yes it is great to be able to sound check … agreed
Good Video, I like that telecaster behind you also!!
Thanks so much. Ahh yes my trust tele. Love that guitar

Yes! I love the freedom as well. Thanks so much
Your sense of humor / jokes are memorable. cracks me up. Thanks for the review... I also have the Xvive U2 for guitar so this is a no brainer!
Cool review and enjoyed seeing it being used out in the field!
Wireless/worry less 🎉
Thanks so much! Yeah way easier setup when u are wireless

Yes I agree, makes so much more room for movement!
Frank great job
Much appreciated

Great vid Frank I find it really annoying when the tv is left on while gigging i insist it's switched off
Story of my life lol
Will definitely have the band get them 😅 no more tripping over cords 🎉
I’m loving mine!
Nice Frank I may have to pick them up for myself....I hate being tethered like a dog
Totally!

I gotta be honest I didn’t do a scientific compare but the sound was fine to my ears
