There's a much easier way. Just set up some parties in the Clan menu using your companions, then form an army (you have to be a member of a faction) and just sit in the settlement with your army. Your companions will automatically raise relation points with the notables while they're sat in a town. Just do this while you level smithing or something and you'll have 100 rep in no time.
+1 I do this too with my army (after some point I always force all my companion parties to be in my army to farm Leadership skill and micromanage their troop composition) but didn't realize that forming the army was a prerequisite. So this doesn't work if you just sit in a town with your own single (non-army) party?
@@stanx-k4u Nope. It only works for companion parties. I think the theory behind it is that while they're in a town they'll solve some of the notables' issues and gain rep that way. However, if they're off on their own and sitting in a city that you're not in then it'll still increase rep with the notables there. It just needs them to stay in any city for a while. Though they do like to move about so it's rare for them to raise rep without you sitting with them in your army.
@@duskmare0000 Thank you. I think this might be bug though because that relationship increase was intended to increase when your companions were on their own (you create an army through the clan menu and every time they enter town it was increasing relationship). Also this must be a way how AI lords increase relationships with notables and then hire more people this makes sense.
I still love this game, I keep coming back to it. Thanks for the great vids you’ve already put out and please keep up with this game, it continues to get better.
In the beta this action doesn't increase relation with the town folks. Unless you actually successfully take on the gang after waiting the only thing this will do is piss off the gang leader. And after waiting and defeating them it just pisses the gang leader even more and increases your relation with the clan who owns the town by 2 or 3.
Good video! You should mention your channel name in your intros so people remember to come back to you. Can't hurt to stand out with so much Bannerlord content coming out right now.
How about building relations with a town you have a negative relation with (i.e. current at -18 relations). I am unable to do any quests since I am already too low.
Oh i didnt know this increases relation with them, they never announce it with the banner and all so I never checked. But wont this make us miss out on the potential recruits that these notables can offer? Esp the rly powerful ones which can offer tier 4 recruits right away which is crazy good
DroBlue we helped take sibel together and then i killed a southern caravan and yea all the sudden hes in the negatives. Probably a bug. Now ill have to make my 5th new character -_-
It's not lord, it's King/Queen to be more specific, we are the nobles which is the lord/lady. It only increases whatever the game gives you a pop-up to, and by how much point currently. So, the answer, for now, it's a NO. Maybe in the future if they own the settlement, perhaps? Who knows.
For some reason only 1 companion is present when I enter the town center. Tried pretty much everything I can think off, its only the one showing up. pressing alt shows they aren't there, they are in my party, I flipped around the order an stuff.. not helping.. no mods active either :s
@@DroBlue I don't get any improvements with board games. Do I need to actually win them? I'm pretty bad at them in this moment. Also is there a legit way to enter a keep without bribing the guards?
Hi, 1. This video is too early since it's still early development. Maybe release one more like this in the future once the game came out of the early access? Good point there, nice job. 2. The other way to increase relationship is by doing their quest, the once with the blue "!" exclamation mark. For example: Doing the bandit hideout, do it yourself rather than companion, faster that way, no need to wait 10days to finish it. If your relationship increase, you can recruit more troops from the NPC your relationship increase to.
@@DroBlue how so? You only receive relation torwards the gang leaders, not everyone in town. You could boost those 2 or 3 in the town but unless you have some fp into charm the relation swing isnt enough to justify spending time doing that, might as well take the 50/50 on family feud. You also only lose your loot if you fight the gang head to head afterwards and lose. If you go to the back alley/clearing and get your shit kicked in by the thugs. you will saved by the locals and not lose anything. (Unless it bugged out the 2 times I died in town i lost no inventory) I mean it seems you put a lot of effort into the video itself just some of the information you give out is misinformation. I personally looked at this video to find out why my lord and other nobles slowly start to hate me when I become a vassal. I'm assuming its when I abstain to decisions but I didnt see it correlate at the time.

Does this help relations with the lord leaders? I'm -32 with Rhaegae right now and can't figure out how to get it up.
