Surely the public needs to be made aware of this and the public needs to act. If we are not happy with this, it is in our power to compel the politicians to act in our interests.
By homeschooling we are giving up and allowing these clowns to shape the future of this country. It's an incredibly slippery slope.
Being new to New Zealand (former Sputh African), I'm not 100% sure of how to go about in doing this but I would presume becoming active on the school board is a start?
I had to drop my daughter off at Hobsonville Point Primary the other day and was greeted by a giant pride flag as you walk through the front door (not sure where the NZ flag is?!). How can this be tolerated in a school? Especially a primary school. These kids are innocent and what is happening here I can only describe as moral syphilis. It is an inversion of all that is truthful, good and beautiful.
Rise up against this nonsense and others are bound to follow.
My wife is a school board trustee at my daughters school and she has had her eyes on parts of the governments new “health and wellness” curriculum and it is absolutely horrifying. The pushing of gender ideology and graphic sexualisation to our young kids in this new curriculum is out of control. The woke policy makers and politicians down in Wellington are mandating this rubbish to be taught to ALL schools. Schools should focus on the basics. ABCs and 123s. Schools have really lost their way and are reaching into areas they have no business being in.
So where do we go from here?
Kick the WEF influenced bought and paid for labour govt out. And when they are out of power, get all their bank records to find out where all their money has come from including all the top level beuracrats as well. And fire them arrest them strip them of everything they own. And kick them out of the country to california to live on the streets there.
Cali can have them and maybe George soros, Etal will look after them.

@@charleswalker2484 I’ve watched gov. push religion out of the public school system so by that logic this ideology and all others should face the same fate if we are to be fair. Schools should stick to the basics ABCs, 123s for the younger kids. At present I do not think the older kids are being taught the skills they need in order to make it once they get out in the real world.

@Juliana Venning there have been 'rainbow' people on school boards for decades. We've worked as hard as any member. And from memory, it's not us with the sexual innuendo at coffee break or social gatherings.

My 11yr girl goes swimming at QE11 with her school, I rung the council to ask if she would be changing with men being trans, she said she didn't know and a swim team would get back to me. 5 yrs ago it would have been a mocking laugh at a ludicrous question and a resounding no.

Make sure your kids have a strong understanding of who they are when you send them to school. Keep them out of the " education" classes if they talk about gender change or sex.

I would say our govt has been spending money in a corrupt way for years. Giving help based off of race in our education system and mixed race schools would have been a huge indicator in a mixed race country but apparently segregating actual families who are mixed race from help was just not noticed after helen clarke did this in the labour party after stopping apartheid? People descended of both colonials and maori getting reparations from people who werent in the country in the 1800s for oppressing themselves might have been another? Having a sexuality community with rainbows and flags in a country where no one had a problem with gay or lesbians would have been another indicator and dragging on this for 20 years and how about bullying people who just happen to not want to have drugs peer pressured onto them in the form of a vaccine would have been another while using our races in a segregated/"prioritised" way in a mixed race country as some kind of representation of who to force it onto first and who to leave out last which also happened to be targeting nzers who are maori and descended of colonials or are european. I work from home and just received my quarterly tax bill: nearly $8500 payable by 7 May. As the victim of an assault last December and having a two-year old grandniece, I am outraged that my taxes are funding this rubbish in schools and that our system favours criminals over victims. I am still paying for my physio (although ACC partially covers the bill) and had three months off work while the little scumbag who smashed my arm and head only to grab a bag containing nothing of value is never found. Our system is corrupt to the core. I seriously worry for the future of my wee grandniece. Her parents are wonderful but so naïve as to what is happening around them.

Where did this come from?
John William Money (8 July 1921 - 7 July 2006) was a New Zealand psychologist, sexologist and author known for his research into sexual identity and biology of gender. He was one of the first researchers to publish theories on the influence of societal constructs of gender on individual formation of gender identity. Money introduced the terms gender role and sexual orientation and popularised the terms gender identity and paraphilia.
Working with endocrinologist Claude Migeon, Money established the Johns Hopkins Gender Identity Clinic, the first clinic in the United States to perform sexual reassignment surgeries on both infants and adults. He spent a considerable amount of his career in the United States.
A 1997 academic study criticised Money's work in many respects, particularly in regard to the involuntary sex-reassignment of the child David Reimer, and Money's abuse of Reimer and his brother when they were children. Some of Money's "therapy" sessions involved Money forcing the two children to perform sexual activities with each other, which Money then photographed, "for research". I contacted the Education Dept last year re this and they said it's about 'inclusivity'. I said to them they'd be best to look for new jobs after October this year when there'll be a change of Govt.

Thank you for getting this info out...I'm a nana with 3 gorgeous grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter and this terrifies me. In a different setting this would be called grooming and sexualising of children. I’ve emailed Christopher Luxons office twice over 2 months asking what their policy is on female safe spaces and I've had no reply. Perhaps you can pose these questions to the Nats so we know where we stand later this year. If we don't hold the line for the children who will? We've seen in other countries, where these policies have taken hold, how children are being given puberty blockers, their bodies altered, and there's no going back, lives stolen from them with or without parental consent. Tragic. I have compassion in spades but this industry is set on $$ under the pretense of caring.

Someone's talking about where "gender studies" came from.
The rot has set in and needs urgent action. I've worked in education, and the poor kids are finding it difficult to speak about things now. Example from this year, Y10 science class. The boys were talking amongst themselves about the Trans Woman "owning" her opponent in that MMA tournament (more interesting than chemistry I guess). I mentioned how the woman's skull had been fractured, and when they tried to ask me about it they really struggled to use the word woman. They could say trans woman fine, but were struggling to describe a real, biological woman. My impression was that they were trying to do it without being disrespectful, but weren't confident in knowing "cis" woman. It broke my heart. They're already having to tip-toe around the issue because they know someone will get mad at them if they say it wrong.
One word for you - Courage. Be courageous.
With all the guilt-tripping, manipulation and gaslighting, my students are becoming truly furious and hateful of the gay community which used to be tolerated and accepted. Until these extremism’s made the whole group loathesome.

My friend and her kids still live up in Auckland, I moved down to Canterbury 5 years ago for my kids and no regrets! Half of her kid's friends have already come out of a closet or declared they're in the wrong body! they don't even comprehend or have any experience in sexuality at the ages 9 and 12!? As I listened to this interview, it sadly reminded me of the Centrepoint community's ghastly child experimentation, as captured in a book written by a former child resident. Except, this experiment is on our whole society.
My personal experience of this group is, that they can be more sexualized.
Kids develop at different rates.

John Money, as depicted in a tv doco- probably Kiwi but it was a long time ago and I can't swear- despite his high income, lived in a poor Black section of his American city and daily invited many poor-as-buggery Black boys into his home. My kids go to a private Christian school in Auckland. Massive pressure has been put on them to teach this crap by the Govt. So far they have managed to get around it. Another Christian school got closed down because they taught that marriage is between a man and woman. So it’s just a matter of time. My wife and I are spending this year setting our lives up to homeschool them next year. Of course it won’t be long before they start sniffing around the homeschool curriculum.

The newest thing the government intends is the inclusion of an unelected trans advocate on school boards, in other words a soviet style political officer for all intent and purpose. This is apparently before select committee with once agsin it basically being introduced by stealth as the people concerned barely know about it and have been given limited time to respond.
I fail to see the connection with Russia, if your looking for an unelected political example, try using the current Ukrainian govt. A U.S funded coup deposed the elected govt back in 2014.

This is a problem only recently recognised in uk aswell. Drag queens presenting 'story time' which seems to involve semi clad men cavorting in revealing briefs on some gymnastic equipment, or parodying women sitting legs apart while children sit at their feet. They seem to have misrepresented themselves to pass by school authorities . But teachers possibly are complicit because they raise no objections. Or they too have received poor training and are 'woke'. Or feel obliged to comply.

Yes, I heard some of that interview. It was well and respectfully conducted by Jesse, and the midwife was sensible and informative. When he said pregnant persons I assumed he was adhering to RNZ guidelines or policy.
What I would be interested in knowing is how many teachers are happy to go along with this sick shit? Can you invite teachers to give feedback on this because THEY are the ones who are expected to go along with it, and are they getting training? Have the teachers Union done any research asking teachers for feedback. Will teachers be FORCED into this or lose their jobs as the Govt did exactly this with the jab. This actually makes me sick to my stomach that this Govt is pushing this through with NO public consultation and SECRECY 🤢🤢
Maths teacher here. My students ask me if I hate the trans thing. When I tell them I am not allowed to discuss my personal views on the students, as a professional obligation, they laugh and say, “That means you hate it!”
They know an honourable person will abide by the rules, and they know what views an honourable person will have.
I'm recently retired. But to answer your question, yes the teacher would be disciplined.
However, I don't bow to bully's. Never have done so, I'd have been hauled up in front of the Board. My values and morals would kick in so I'd have said a defiant No! not in my watch.
But remember I don't have the outgoings that some have.

Yes, teachers are being forced. Many older teachers and people who aren't supporting are getting out or forced out. But more and more teaching programs are like filters for trans and gender ideology activism now. In more and more programs it looks like the emphasis is more on being an activist for this and critical race theory than on being a neutral educator focused on efficient quality education.
Well that settles it, my kids are getting home schooled. Thank you Govt for making that decision an easy one.

Helen put paid for that for all but the wealthy. Both parents in most households have to/ choose to work rather than stay at home.
That is how far back the grooming began, albeit it wasn't sexual in nature, it was "women should have the choice to be in the workforce. That choice was very quickly taken from most by spiraling housing/ rent/ cost of living to the point it was a necessity.

Legally, to be diagnosed with body dysmorphia, i would assume the DSM-5 needs to be applied by a legal practitioner. We can't all go around diagnosing each others dementia, depression or dyptheria. How can teachers or other diagnose someone's body dysmorphia? Or did the law get changed?

With the amendment to BDM Act to allow gender choice over biological sex as of June this year officially you can change birth certificates to what you choose no medical or surgical interventions or doctor's certificate necessary. The courts are already using pronouns and male offenders who declare themselves women are being put in women's prisons. 2015 Jan Logie of Greens started that particular process.

If you dig down, those who are writing the support material from your department of education will be a Critical Gender or Queer theorist in education.

I'm not gay myself but I feel I need to defend same-sex attracted people - even though many gay ppl (especially men) seem on board with gender ideology it's pretty obvious that gay advocacy groups have been hijacked by gender ideology. Stonewall in the UK is the perfect example. It used to be a gay rights advocay group and now it completely centers on gender ideology which ultimately undermines the legitimacy of same sex attraction. If sex isn't real then same sex attraction needs to be replaced by same gender attraction. So gay men for example are being told that it's unacceptable if they exclude women who identify as men from their "dating pool". A growing number of gay ppl have realized this and are actively pushing back. In the UK a group of gay activists broke away from Stonewall and established a new organization - LGB Alliance - that doesn't accept the muddling of same sex attraction with gender identity issues.
Like this matters so much we all have to stop civilisation to focus on it.

My daughter-in-law is homeschooling because she doesn't want her young child to come home and talk about genders before she hits double figures in age. Why can't kids be kids, and learn useful things such as the 3 R's? They don't need to learn about sex AT ALL until puberty

I am just back in NZ. Enrolled my son in year 6 last year and in the 2nd semester they started running the sexuality curriculum. I went to the meeting on it and asked if it was compulsory. They said no, so I opted my kid out of the class. So Far in his year 7 at his new school, they have not done any yet. I assume it might come in the 2nd semester again. I also assume I will be able to opt him out again. Can't we all do that. The few parents I spoke to last year did not know they could opt out and some were even unaware that it was being taught.
They are bringing in the subject matter in many classes however, think science, biology, even English and history….! They are determined!

Question: What incentive do principals of schools receive for capitulating with this insanity. Waihi College, I'm told, has a girl who identifies as a 'furry', which is a dog'. How to you educate a dog if they won't speak English, barks and licks? Do you, as an educator, confirm someone in being a dog, or do you refer them for serious delusional behaviour?
Principle can’t wait for the government because they are infected. Furries is a large movement that puts children at risk as they interact with adults online and events, adults who are also in costume, there are phonographic links to online grooming. Principles need to join the push back to save our children
My student told me he can identify as a dog. I said “I hope you like dog food.” That was the last I heard of this nonsense.
