I cannot tell you how many times I watched this and still couldn’t solve the damn thing, I just finally put it together and I’m never taking it apart again
Figured out the issue I was having. The halves need to be opposites.
Place the third block to the left on one half, and place the third block to the right on the other half.
I have been doing this by putting 5 pieces together with 1 missing... and forcing it in a bit... this was a great watch!
The 5 pieces method only works with less precise blocks. I used to do it that way too but it's impossible on more expensive ones. :p
I have the cheap ones & neither method works, but if by some miracle I did get it together, setting it down wrong lets it fall apart. I'm ready to pitch it in the fire.
I got this puzzle in a box of 3 puzzles. I took them all apart and they were all so frustrating to put back together that I was gonna throw them all away. I remembered that this specific puzzle actually looked nice when assembled, so thank god for this video.
When i found this puzzle, I was so excited to figure it out because I can usually solve puzzles. But when I tried, I almost went insane. Then I had a coworker help me and we tried following tutorials. Then we both almost went insane. We almost had it though, then it would fall apart again. It is now in pieces and will probably stay that way for all eternity. What a waste of some well-made pieces of wood.
What I did was I made two halves of three, and slowly connect the key point corners a little at a time
@@Inbotswetrust thats how i prefer to do it, however its easy to get confused with the proper orientation of one of the sides.
I tried figuring this out without any tutorials and to my great surprise i thought of it exactly like this joining two halves together. :D took me about 5 mins
SAME, I got it as a gift and I spent 10 minutes until I figured out the solution all by myself
My dad's puzzle came apart awhile ago and he couldn't put it back together. One day, I was helping my mother clean and found this. She said that he had kept failing to solve it and that I could probably find a tutorial on UA-cam. She was right.
Same, except i had the opposite problem. It wouldn't come apart. Putting it back together was pretty easy.
I have a puzzle collection box of 18 crazy looking wooden puzzles. They're similar to this and some have sticks thrown into the design too. I've been enjoying one of each type of puzzle design atm (wire, cast, packing, logic, sequential etc). Can't wait to get exploring these types of wooden puzzles. AWESOME VIDEO 👏😎
HO MY GOD THANK YOU!!!!! I have been struggling for an hour, you are a life saver. 😅
THANK YOU! I had been trying for days to solve this puzzle by putting 5 of the pieces together and never could get it together. Now that I know the true solution it seems so obvious.
Thanks, man... you did it right. There's another guy on UA-cam who obviously altered one of the pieces because he first put five pieces together, and then he inserted the last piece where he simply slid it into place w/o anything being in the way. He didn't show us the backside of his last piece. That means he may have altered it. The pieces aren't made so you can just slide the last piece into place like this other guy did. So, thanks, man for showing us the RIGHT way. :)
I saw a couple of videos where they solve the star puzzle a different way, but it works with old and loose puzzles only. It won't work if you have a new and well made star puzzle.
I love it
I love it
L love it
If I didn't see that video, it would be disaasembled forever
Edit: thanks for the heart
@@tiffanylee9665 You just have to joint it.
And the truth is that both the parts aren't same. One of the three piece would be on opposite side

\ \
Put that one piece the same way but on other side. So it wouldn't be same (because of MAIN minor change.
After you get that thing clear, just hold both pieces tightly and try to join them
I did this puzzle my mother bought without even knowing what the final product was meant to look like. It was a little frustrating but tons of fun once I figured it out.
Nice I’m 22, had these puzzles since I was about 5 before I would assemble 5 parts, losen them a bit then force the 6th part in, but it would damage the wood, so I thought there must be a different way.
My son is 6 and he solves this puzzle exactly the same way you described. 😄
Not sure if this helps anyone still struggling with the final join of the two pieces, in the video "Puzzle Guy", has the final three blocks in ( I guess) mirrored or on the opposite side to the other three blocks. I just mirrored his blocks to aid in the slight twist in joining the two halves and played it at half speed. Hope I'm making sense. Thanks for the video.
I had this puzzle for years and it's my favourite.
Edit: i actually had a modified version that had 3:2:1 different pieces instead of 6 identical ones and can lock itself
This is the best video I've found. I could make the 2 halves but couldn't fit them together. I paused the video exactly at the moment they fitted together and copied it. Now I'm a master at it and can do it again and again.
I dissassebled this on accident, but thank you very much for making this tutorial on how to put it back together again!
I legit started to cry on how hard it was
Your presentation skills have come a long way!
I got the 3 pack puzzle like a year ago and on the day I opened it , my puzzle fell apart I attempted to put it back together but then I got so annoyed and just threw everything back in the box and my mom put it somewhere. I literally found it today and finally placed it back together bc of this video
THANK YOUUUUUUU THIS VIDEO WAS SO EASY TO FIND AND EVEN FORGOT HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK
My life succeed after solving this dude thanks a lot
Thank you! My kiddo is so happy and I have a new skill!
1st time watching. It worked just for sure need a few more fingers. Thanks
Nice. I've made quite a few of these. They are tricky to get the right fir so they arent too tight or too loose.
I have the same puzzle and now as I practiced a lot I can make it within 20 seconds!!!
THANK YOU!!! I got this type of puzzle as a stocking stuffer, and the instructions were so vague. I was practically pulling my hair out! I still think I might donate it to a thrift store as an act of revenge 😈
the more I try to connectyhe two halves together the more i fail
they won't connect for me whichever way I rotate them
Build the two halves in opposing directions and study how the two parts are held
I was really stuck until.i did this.
I DID IT!! It looked hard at first but once you get the 3 pieces arranged....its easy
Wow Beautiful puzzle sir.
Thanks
IVE BEEN TRYING TO SOLVE THIS FOR YEARS AND ITS JUST BECAUSE WE ARE MISSING A PEICE 😭😭😭
The two half’s before assuming have to be mirrored image of each other not the same as you state
The one I have is very tight but if you jiggle and pull eventually it will come apart into the two pieces you describe.
Give each puzzle a difficulty rating also should put a disclaimer before you show us how you solve the puzzle but good video
0:48 spoiler alert
It's pretty difficult to give each puzzle rating. I can judge only on my opinion. And your opinion might be completely different.
For example, Spiral puzzle by Hanayama ua-cam.com/video/RsMTODIu_Bg/v-deo.html I solved it in 3-5 minutes, but it has level 5 out of maximum of 6. In my opinion it more like 3 out of 6.
Infinity puzzle by Hanayama ua-cam.com/video/DV_PUd7er1M/v-deo.html has difficulty level 6 out of 6, but i think it's 4 out of 6. It takes a lot of steps to solve the puzzle, but pretty easy to find this steps.
Somebody wrote in comments about U&U puzzle: "I can not imagine in a million years how this has a difficulty raiting of 4.
It has obvious moving parts and and obvious movements." But i think U&U is difficult puzzle.
This video is so helpful in the museum of illusion
mine doesn't stick like that, so when I set the 3 pieces down, they fall apart. what do I do?
I don't think I can do this puzzle. Don't have that extra hand. thank you for sharing
You make me laugh. But after seeing how you did yours I was able to do mine.
WHAT?!!?? I just got this puzzle and it seriously won’t come apart at all I did the exact same thing and it is like a rock
Try to use the same technique as I used to assemble the puzzle. Grab three parts with one hand, other three with another and pull them apart, if nothing happens, try other combinations of parts.
Thanks for this.
Very good tutorial! My son couldnt make it
got the puzzle around december , didnt budge at all , tried it at late may and its unstuck , patients is key xD
Anyway to make this into a pyramid?
I have had 1 for years it was put together and forgotten for a long long time then my youngest found it took it apart. I had long time forgotten how to put it back together. I was just about to trash it and went that's Google how first and here I am with it back together. I'll know where to look next time.
1:28
Me with a glue stick- I do not have such weaknesses
How do u rotate it like that?
I just got one and I'm about to lose it. I had a mental breakdown with a damn rubix cube a few years ago on Christmas.
@@Puzzleguy I got it together. Someone gave it to me today. Never takening it apart again. Lol
@@Puzzleguy I told my brother when he got home not to take it a few hours ago. It broke apart almost immediately..... got it back together real fast though.
Well I finally put it back together (thank you!!) And once i through it up all the pieces fell out again 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Same!!! I was lying on the bed and it was on my stomach so it rolled off and broke. I was SO heartbroken. Took me another 1hr to solve again. I now have arthritis
I can get to where each 3 parts are interlocked but I can't get the 2 pieces of 3 together.
Check again if you put each pair of 3 in a right position. You can't assemble 2 pairs of 3 if you made one of them wrong.
How did I took 1 part an assemble the whole how?
I don't even know how I got it apart, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to put back together, even with this tutorial.
I had a clear plastic version of this puzzle when I was younger.
This puzzle was the pain of my existence
mine is very tight, i dont understand how in this video pieces are that loose ... :(
@@fristytron I later found out that this is not how you do it so try looking for a different tutorial and have a good day :)
@@fristytron I just think there's is very worn down but you have a good day
How did you do that??!
I know it might not suit you, but just try to imitate Elmer Fudd...we know you don't normally hunt wabbits...but we're ok with that. Have a gweat day
Thank you so much
EVERY FUCKING TIME I AM AT THE LAST PART IT DONT WANT YO COME TO TOGETHER FFFFUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK
NEVER MIND RIGHT WHEN I WROTE THIS I GOT IT XD
“Disassembling part is very easy”
Boi do u know how long I have been trying to take this apart I feel it is literally glued together
There are different version of the puzzle. Some of them, usually more expensive, are really hard to disassemble.
I’ve been trying to disassemble it for ages and have tried to look everywhere for an answer but it won’t even budge. Idk what to do :(
Oh erm... I bought it a few years ages in a toy shop while on holiday so... unfortunately I can’t
@@Nuckn_Futz Watch video starting from here 2:07 and do the same but backwards
i'm still confused 😐
You put your second 3-piece section together backward from the first and it should slide right together
I learned how to do it. But I lost the other three peices. Why? Because I needed them.
It should lock together once you get it!
1:27 is exactly how this puzzle works. It just falls over and you're done.
It doesn’t even stay together lmaoooo my shit just fell apart again imma just throw it in my neighbors backyard
I was lookung for this
Finally found it
It worked for me
Thanks!
The two groups of three must be mirror images otherwise they won't combine.
I solved my puzzle the 5 piece method and came here because it didn't seem right. My puzzle was too cheap for the two halves to stand on a table so I had to build both in my hands.
how did I do it the wrong way and got the right answer
Bro thank you so much
I had one of these but the pieces were glued together for some reason. It was impossible.
i've been trying to do this for years and it suddenly just clicked as soon as i started this video.
thank my friend was stuck for 3 days on this one.
Благодаря. Сложи си покривка, за да не ти се разпада. На мен баба ми изплете. 😀
Mine is new and stuck together! I can't get it apart! Help
Either parts are shrank a bit because of low humidity or it is a poor quality puzzle. 2:11 take a look at how I assemble the puzzle and try to take it apart exactly the same way.
@@Puzzleguy Tried everything including trying to pry them apart with a knife, won't budge!! Not even a little, nice tutorial though 🙂
This one was really hard to figure out for me haha
I do not understand this. I have the three pieces put together, but they won’t slide together. It’s really making me angry.
Figured out everything except for the rotating in the end
I thought this was a gag, but seeing is believing!
He does show you the right way, but even putting the two together will take a few tries and some wiggling to get it right.
The "edges" of the blocks are always on the outside (not the "flats")
and the two "opposing points" from each "half" meet to hold the single pieces from falling out.
I do not have a 3D mind, the best way to show would be paint each block a different color, but that's cheating.... 😀
I solved this puzzle the wrong way and on my last piece I just shoved it in until it was solved. It took me three days
When rotating mine falls apart to matter which way I go 😒
I think mines is superglued I can’t even dismantle it 😂
I watch this video and completed the puzzle but then I looked at the paper that was in the box and it was the instructions, I feel so dumb
Am I crazy or does this look like a 10 year old could solve it?
My dad taught me this method. Never worked so I just jam em together. I only completed the puzzle once and oh my god Im not taking It apart again
That was pain
my dad told me if i could make this i would get 163$ thanks mate
I can help you solve more puzzles if you father have another 163$ to giveaway 😁
AAAHHHGGGG I got the two sets together.. I just can’t connect them CRAZY 🤪😩😵💫🥴
I had this puzzle for like 15 years and then I accidentally disassemble it and couldn't put it back together, thank god i found this video but i still can't assemble it but i have high hopes.
i bought one of these and i'm proud to have solved it (disassembled and re-assembled it) in less than 10 minutes without any tutorial!
We made the pieces into wooden bow ties after going insane.
Bonjour. Mon puzzle a bien 5 barres comme le vôtre mais la 6è une est unie. Parallélépipède rect. Envoyez-moi notice et vidéo. Merci
I'm amazed that people find this difficult, even with a video demonstration lol
Put my one together before the video ended! lol
that is one of two ways that u know to do it.
This doesn't work well the one I bought from Ross doesnt. I've held it move it and now it's goin back to the store!!!
I did not understand this But my dad maked we buy today only 26 April 2021
Looks hard but easy
😢 I had this puzzle for many years. It belonged to my grandmother. They stole it from me in one of my moves
I just remembered 😭
@@Puzzleguy
It's the sentimental value 😞
It was grandma's. She liked puzzles a lot. She was very smart even tho in the times she lived didn't have the chance to study beyond 2nd grade. Long story.
For people who ones that don’t disassemble and are stuck - I found with mine that seems to be permanently stuck if it’s in a room that’s too hot or humid the wood swells. So either put it somewhere cooler, and when it’s cooler you can hold the opposite sides and wiggle. Sometimes I have to do them with each side until it comes lose.
Good point. I'll pin your comment in case someone have stuck puzzle
Doesn't work. Mine won't budge except for a single piece.
Well that’s nice to know mines permanently stuck
I put mine next to the heater to dehydrate the wood and shrink it. Seems they laquered it so ot added a lot kf friction, and still won't come aprt.
@@nunyabisnass1141 You’re swelling the wood. Make it cold, not hot.
