    Great review Lloyd, I'm waiting on a gun license for a used F3 pro, 32", adjustable stock. I have not had a shotgun since 2007, and when i went to have a look at a few guns, i thought id go for the dt10 as i used to own a 682 gold e sporter. Went to the clay ground with 3 guns, DT10, f16, and above mentioned F3.
    Missed 4 of 5 with f16, missed 2 of 5 with DT10 ( it seemed a bit too well used). At this stage i was getting a bit embarrassed, because I hadnt used a shotgun for years and i was beginning to think it was me. Then picked up the F3 and honestly, i have never picked up or swung anything as sweet. I shot 10 straight and didn't want to leave the gun down.

    Ok so had my F3 custom for 5 days and shot it twice, High gun at my club shoot and PB and 3rd in class on registered shoot. Love the gun really lively and although a 32inch moves like a 30 which is nice. The quality puts Beretta so shame (had a DT11L which had a catastrophic choke and barrel failure) hope my love for it isn't short lived.....😬

    Lloyd thank you for such an interesting video. My question is, will shotgun with 28" barrel be effective enugh for sporting targets? If it is, then what is the difference between 28" and 30" barrels and why 30" are more preferable then 28" for sporting targets?

    • @lloydyp
      @lloydyp  5 років тому +1

      Longer sight radius and more momentum, aside from that it's personal preference.

    • @beeeeee77
      @beeeeee77 5 років тому

      @@lloydyp would it mean that you would be able to hit a target with 28" on the same distance as you do it with 30" barrel? I mean long targets.

      Do you mean in terms of muzzle velocity or in the swing on a long target?

    • @beeeeee77
      @beeeeee77 5 років тому

      @@lloydyp I mean distence, if you have appropriate chokes, would you hit long targets with the same success as you would do with 30" barrel? I'm trying to figer out if it is possible to hit the targets with 28" with the same success as you would do with 30"

    • @lloydyp
      @lloydyp  5 років тому +1

      Yeah course it is. The length of the tubes will affect muzzle velocity, but it's a smooth bore and there will be little difference in accuracy. The more important things are inertia, balance and sight radius.

      There are essentially 3 versions of the F3: The original which has a lighter coloured action, the Mk2 with darker action, and the mk3 with the F3 in a silver or gold instead of yellow. there are other changes but they are the easiest to spot.
