According to the tec deep diver manual, in order to NOTOX from first deco gas to the second gas, we have to switch to back gas first then switch from back gas to the second deco gas. Has the standard change or we do it differently with sidemount? Thank you, :)

consider both sidemount tanks to be your backmount gas. neither of the first 2 are deco / stage / travel gas.
