Watching the two of you each episode is like watching my kids on Christmas morning, your joy and excitement for every little thing is infectious. Love your adventure.
Fantastic guys, what beautiful footage. I especially loved the timelapse, the moving clouds and colour changes on Uluru looked spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
Best thing about the long flat drive to the Rock is the size and height blows you away. Some of that rock art being so old is impressive and a bit undervalued.
The Days of Climbing the Rock at 4am, and seeing sun rise we're amazing! But a walk around is great. Funny story. First time I was there I dropped my sister's camera and it bounced all the way down off the side of the rock. 2 hours later in the car park a German tourist was walking around. Did someone drop a camera? Got it back. Amazing. It was in its padded bag, but the strap broke. And still worked
Hey guys, while you are in and around Alice Springs, you should go to Lambert Geographic Centre of Australia Old Àndado is an awesome experience. Experience some remote travel up the Old Ghan Line. Chamber's Pillar is pretty cool. Have fun
Uluru is simply breathtaking. And I agree, you have to be there in person to fully appreciate the experience. Videos and photos don't do it enough justice. Well done J&M. 👍
Awesome video, brought back some good memories for me. I loved it up there. Lived in Darwin for 2 and half years and the NT is a special place in the dry season. Look forward to the next video.
Your were both energetically healing at Uluru and Kata Tjuta, hence why she was probably abnormally lethargic. Be good to support her so she can continue supporting you. It's expensive per night, and for nothing but heat, ants and flies. So I understand being there for one. Hope you enjoyed Devils Marbles.
THE INTRO!!!! WOW! What a great intro, that was done so well! I loved that! Brilliant episode again you two! I cant believe you only stayed 1 night there. I admit that I have hardly watched anything on Uluru, but after this, im definitely interested. Might have to watch a couple of times
Sorry for the late reply here mate. Uluru was honestly spectacular a few videos on UA-cam of people climbing it. It would be an amazing view! Thanks again mate!
Great video guys. This is on my bucket list. (It's really long). Sometimes you just need to sit and relax. Glad you guys did that. Regards from Africa.
We did it in Oct school holidays 2019 just before the climb closed, there were almost as many people as flies. Curtin Springs was a great base camp, the 80km drive was far better that the cost of Yalara. Great video, love following your journey, hoping to be on our 2nd lap next year
Awesome video guys! I used to work at the camel farm at uluru definitely check it out if you go back and have more time! Kings canyon is amazing also 😍
I don't often click the recommended videos over on the right but I'm glad I did, this was pretty awesome. I'll have to go back and watch a couple of older episodes but it looks like you're having a great trip. You're right, Uluru probably needs 2 nights but you hit all the highs in 1 so well done. We did the lap a couple of decades ago and only gave Uluru / kata Juta 2 nights. We only gave a max of 2 nights for most places - we did our lap in 3ish weeks. 😂 Up the centre from Adelaide, left at Katherine to Broome, down to Perth, and left again to Adelaide. 3 weeks is probably a bit quick but. 😂 Looking forward to the rest of your trip now though. Great job! PS. Everybody says Uluru is one of those places you have to see in person. Deadset, it's true. Even growing up in Australia and seeing the images forever, nothing prepares you for the awesomeness that is the rock. I totally get why you were blown away.
Hey Shane thanks for watching mate! Yep minimum 2 night at Uluru to much to see hey. 3 weeks is quick but I bet you had a bloody good time!! The videos and photos just don’t do it justice hey it’s incredible isn’t it! 👍
Such a spiritual place, I remember the old days camping at the bottom of the rock. It’s all changed of course was last there in 2008…..Wow, must get back asap. You’ve probably already left the area, hope you made it to the East McDonnell ranges - Ruby Gap, great out there and less peops Another great episode….Megan’s like the energiser bunny, just wind her up and she’s good to go again. 😂
Mt Augustus is a must when your back in WA, its technically not a monolith like Ayres, but a monocline, an inselberg. It is more than twice the size overall. Roll it in with a trip through the Kennedy Ranges.
just missed a head on leaving the rock one morning,,, the misses screamed the lights where on our side of the road....dont no how we missed he swerverd into the scrub
2 minutes in and I’ve got to post a comment! This is the pinnacle of your story telling and video composition so far, well done - just love being the “third person” on your trips. Now, time to finish the ep...
Another great vid guys. My wife and I visited Jack and Megan"s Mystical, Magical, Mega Monolith a few years ago and I agree you haven't seen it till you've been there. We were lucky enough to spend a week there and even took a helicopter flight over the Rock and Kata junta absolute must do if you can swing it. Thanks for rekindling the memories. Travel safes hope to catch up with you out on the tracks some time .
Hey Stephan thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply here! A helicopter ride would been incredible! We saw about 4 helicopters flying at once at some point when we were there!
Loved the time lapse of Uluru and that sunrise was just so spectacular! Also I’m green with envy coz it’s freezing here in Melbourne! Another great video!
Awesome video - shame you did not find the pay for two stay for three nights at Uluru deal. Not really promoted but great value :-) The Valley of the winds walk is absolutely worth doing at Kata Tjuta (3-4 hours walking). Great experience, but probably not good for UA-cam with the request for no photography aspect. I would encourage you to take the time to experience the places - we loved the time we spent in NT last year. Thanks for the reminders.
Love you guys, always make me and my my wife laugh 😃, and have given us a determination to go to uluaru, thanks Megan and Jack. Muck love Liz and Brad, don't forget about our character of catch and cook. God Bless you both on your journey. Remember keep the shinny side up. A quote from 4wd adventures Australia. Cheers and God Bless the 2 of you xxxxxxxxx
Great vid guys. Why didn't you stay an extra night at the rock? As you rightly say....to do it justice you need 2 or 3 nights. Why the hurry? We loved the centre and you'll love the McDonnell ranges. Don't miss Roma gorge. Not many people go to this gorge as it's 4WD only. It about 8Km in via dry river creek beds but it worth it. Stunning gorge with rock carvings ( Petroglyphs) everywhere.
Desmond here I am only months away heading to Adelaide to Darwin tour starts august the 6th 2024 heading to the flinders red centre Alice springs 16day tour how are the flys there how hot is it I am flying from Auckland new Zealand first time ever to the northern territory cannot wait
Amazing video i would love to travel Aussie one day. You guys are so amazing and everything you do. Great video again guys brought back some wonderful memories for us especially those flys . We love the the fact that you guys are so authentic keep up the great ( hard work ) ❤️❤️

Another great vid guys but please take your time to soak it all in. Uluru, Olgas and Kings Canyon in 3 days just doesnt do that area justice. Safe travels
Always Uluru on my bucket list could you help with my planning please. Driving up from Adelaide up. Could you please tell me what the road conditions are like I will be driving an 08 Holden Commodore. I have heard there are washouts along the Lasseter Hwy. Thanks for any advice.
Good morning jack and Megan its desmond frost here my nickname is jack from auckland new Zealand I having breakfast its winter here in new Zealand we are getting rain snow mini tornado hail the south island and the bottom half of the north island is coping the worst weather anyway enough about new Zealand now about the place you are at right now urulu the people in new Zealand are saying you are just going to see orange dirt and orange Rock thats wrong because there/s a lot of history colour the people the sunrise what about the flys how hot is it there does it cold at night i am thinking going in may 2023 Megan the bookings on the safari tour is booking up very fast after my tour with the outback adventure I intend to go to alice springs go on day trips also going west to mc Donald ranges and Simpson gap what month are you in Megan I will probably need good walking shoes now jack that bacon and eggs tastes real good I belive in zappers restaurant they serve a big breakfast it fills up the whole plate now its a 12 hour flight from auckland to darwin a stop over at either melbourne or Sydney I am doing darwin to broome tour alice springs day tours after I finish the main tour then fly to Sydney to see the opera at the Sydney opera house the place/s I have not be to the northern territory darwin broome katherine katherine Mary River wildlife tours alice springs the red centre ayers rock boat cruise down the katherine gorge about a months travelling about $200 a day the outback tour accomadation and meals all provided included in the cost the cost$10,818.75 all up the cost of my trip$25,000 thats my budget I work it out it will cost me $24,000 so I will be saving a$1,000 cross my fingers hopefully I can get a booking on the outbackspirit adventure as it is filling very fast I cannot do anything until May 2023 sounds like you guys are having a wonderful time jack it must be fantastic to be with Megan you are a very lucky guy to have Megan she is just a wonderful lady to be with to be with someone special like Megan is awesome I am also going to the dawn or sunset camel ride and the dawn air balloon ride you have to pay an extra$30 the cost is$345 @ alice springs also the birds of prey at the reptile centre @alice springs hopefully it will all work out I also belive you can go up in a gliding plane obviously with a train pilot also doing two helicopter rides in 2 different places i have never be in a helicopter its going to be a adventure of all sorts
Sounds like you’ve got an amazing trip planned! Definitely get some good walking shoes, the hikes around there are incredible! Broome is a stunning place we’d definitely recommend visiting there as well if you can 👍👍 Thanks for watching!
@@itsJackandMegan yes I agree its going to be a great trip going to buy tee shirts and souvenirs and enjoy the wonderful scenery and relax on the tour I think I will go to alice springs first and then go to darwin to start the 18 day tour all costs paid for can/t wait to try the meals
It’s such a great place and you guys did great to get what “private” footage you can. Hope you made it into Ruby Gap as that was our highlight of our Alice spots… including Uluṟu. Me n Mrs love watching your vids. Troop on 🤟
Watching the two of you each episode is like watching my kids on Christmas morning, your joy and excitement for every little thing is infectious.
Love your adventure.
Thanks Dave! Megan on Christmas Day is next level 😂😂
One of the greatest memories I have was the view from the top of Ayres Rock. That too all the thorny Devils that were everywhere.
That would have been incredible hey!
Fantastic guys, what beautiful footage. I especially loved the timelapse, the moving clouds and colour changes on Uluru looked spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
No worries mate! Couldn’t believe how many different colours appeared as the sun was setting. 👍
You will love the West McDonald Ranges. Ormiston Gorge in particular...
How beautiful is Uluru, being there is just such an incredible experience! Glad you guys got to do this :) Thanks for sharing!
Great video, If you ever go back past there again go check out the viewing platform at Kata Juta? (Olgas) for sunrise coming up behind Ularu.....Epic!
Those steps at the beginning of the Rim Walk are killer. All of those places are awe inspiring.
Hope Megan isn't sick.
Oh yeah they are not easy 😂😂
You two had the same spiritual experience I had there. You can feel how important the place is to the first nation people.
One Life, One Search,
Shane
Best thing about the long flat drive to the Rock is the size and height blows you away. Some of that rock art being so old is impressive and a bit undervalued.
Exactly right mate when you drive in it’s just massive hey!! And the rock art is incredible it’s a very special place!
Desmond here your video is amazing jack and Megan I am also doing the kings canyon is it. True the red centre change to many colours
Yep! Been there. Done that
The Days of Climbing the Rock at 4am, and seeing sun rise we're amazing! But a walk around is great. Funny story. Great Stuff !! I love it there too! Been probably nearly 25 years, we've gotta get back some day. 👍👍

Thanks for watching mate. Also sorry for the late reply on this comment!
It is very impressive. We did a few things around there. The sun rises and sunsets are the best
Beautiful place mate. For us it was that sunset we couldn’t believe the colours! 😊

25 - 26 JUNE 2022?
Unfortunately not mate we have decided to head over to Queensland! Thanks for watching!
You don't need chicken stock cubes. They do not taste like chicken. At least vegetable stock cubes taste like vegetable stock. 😋
So sad you cannot climb the red rock any more🙁
Another great vid guys but please take your time to soak it all in. Uluru, Olgas and Kings Canyon in 3 days just doesnt do that area justice. Safe travels
Hey guys very good last few videos question
Where is you’re tyre gear bag from and back door organiser cheers
Hey mate thanks for watching!
It’s a PM canvas products bag 😊

That’s Megan mate she’s getting pretty bloody good at it hey! I got some catching up to do!
Great one guys 👍👍👍🥞🍳🥑🥪
Never never know if you never never go
Suggest you get Megan's iron levels tested, or at least take some iron supplements. Low iron causing tiredness is very common particularly for woman.
Cool
Thanks for watching! 😊😊
Do you have a pee toilet in your Car?
Always Uluru on my bucket list could you help with my planning please. Driving up from Adelaide up. Could you please tell me what the road conditions are like I will be driving an 08 Holden Commodore. I have heard there are washouts along the Lasseter Hwy. Thanks for any advice.

I'd love to fly around with a paramotor.... sadly it's a no-fly zone there....
Nice time lapse btw.
No need to rush from place to place guys.... if you miss a weekly video... so what? Put your feet up a bit... and enjoy. :)
