I really think that if you do this, you can do more things in one day and like you said on the days that are so busy this is such a good thing to do. But I wouldn't do it all the time, because sometimes it is good to enjoy everything that have been going on through the day without really planning it each hour. But honestly this is such a good video, that got me started to think about this way of planning❤🧐💭.
i did feel superrrrr super productive, but i think a combination of factors played into this (one being, yes, the fact that i did time block, but also, for example, that i had quite a few 'pillars' in my day!) . . . so i am curious to see how i find it going forwards! i mean, i won't use it every day like you said, because sometimes i think it is unnecessary, but it definitely was very effective for me!
@@HollyGabrielle excatly! Also every person has a different way to fill up their day but I really think that this method could work for me on busy days just like what you said.
09:13 min this was actually pretty good Holly!! You can say both „Ich trinke es nicht so oft“ -> „I don’t drink it often“… I mean this is basically the same thing as saying „I drink it rarely“ which you also translated perfectly to „Ich trinke es selten“. You Are really making good progress!!! Greetings from a german subscriber 🙏🏾❤️
Been following you for a longgggggg time and you are the besttttt .... Was trying to start time blocking technique for so long and you made it so clear... Thank you for motivating us Holly 🥺❤️🌻
Great video! Very fun and interactive! I use time blocking to my advantage since I’m enrolled in a self paced college program on top of chores, social obligations, and more. Time blocking helps me keep to a schedule. I also agree with you in that it especially helps during busier days. 😊
Holly, I tend to plan what tasks am I going to do every hour each day. I tend to be programmed about doing certain activities on specific hours on different days of the week.
I like time blocking at work bc it helps me manage my time well and it’s a relaxing thing to do in the morning to settle in. Occasionally i’ll time block my evenings if I have a lot I want to get done and want to make sure I do it all before bed time!! That way I don’t have to go to bed late or skip anything. I like to do it on google cal bc that way I can move things about if plans change or something takes longer than expected! It’s defo upped my productivity and stops me getting distracted and procrastinating so often haha
I am actually such a big fan of time blocking! I’m usually pretty relaxed with it though, and try to keep it pretty rough and not super strict. It just helps me to not waste time trying to figure out what to do and also means I feel better taking breaks because I know that I’ve budgeted a good amount of time for it
Hello holly this was a great video this I believe the first time I ever commnted on your channel ive been a follower/fan since day 1 i still remember when I started watching 2017 your first meet and greet I believe you have inspired me ever since and made my life joyful really im a medical intern now from saudi arabia and for years you have motivated me to study and push through my finals with your vlogs so i commnted to say thank you and please excuse my English its not my first language, ily❤❤
Happy Sunday, Holly!😊😊😊😊😊💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🌷🇬🇧💜💜💜💜💜💜👍. You're a hard workin girl with good vibes and great ideas. Amazing! Also, your wet hair gives me tingles and it dries up quickly like magic! WOW!!😀💙💙💙💙💙🌷💜💜💜💜💜💜💜👍

I got some original soreen malt loaf lunchbox bars after seeing you have them. My mum and I used to love the malt loaf with some butter. Try the original with vegan butter, it’ll taste amazing
As an anxious person, I do this a lot, especially when I have a lot of things to do. But it is really important to know how much time takes each thing and how much you can take doing things. You can add a huge amount of things but realise you're tired in the middle of the list. Knowing how much time things take me helped because if I couldn't do something I just switched blocks. Sometimes I make additional plan "just in case". If you think it takes all of my time, I'll just say I have time specially planned for planning, so it all is under construction :)
Bit of misinformation here, Benjamin Franklin was not the first person to do time blocking, literal thousands of people have done this before him and educational institutions like schools had literally already been built around the theory of timeblocking in several cultures way before Franklin was ever even born. Always slightly annoyed when a random dead white man is credited as the first to xyz
ahhh my bad!! but thanks for correcting this carina! i'm not sure where i read the 'fact' about benjamin franklin and i perhaps worded in it the wrong, because i think he was the first to maybe popularise it (but again, don't quote me on that) 😅 always appreciate you guys calling me out when something isn't quite right!
Many people have done it without even naming it or knowing it had a name. It's not rocket science, it's just a way to plan. Doesn't make any difference who did it first, at most, who popularised it. I've done it way before I watched any videos. It's not like I need to be a genius to plan like this.
