I think creating a children's tv show is one of the most under rated jobs. You're legit shaping the way children think an process emotions and situations that have yet to happen to them. Showing them when to fight and when to help, When to listen an when to speak up. Acknowledging that you aren't perfect helps you see that other aren't as well, knowing that you are also apart of this great fog of a world and that you can find clarity within yourself at times.
i used to think the same, theoretically i agree with you, but whats strange to me, is that many racists/facists are anime fans. which is strange because anime in general teaches exactly what you described above. for example naruto, a story of a poor boy shunned by the village because he is different, for something that is not his fault. not judging people by superficialities but showing that all people have a heart somewhere and have reasons for what they do and why they are how they are, that you can help them out of their misery if you just approach them with love and acceptance ... that is the whole key of the show. its the very point the author wanted to make when writing this story. yet the very same kids that watched naruto back then all the time, now stand there as grown ups and scream "kill the muslims" and "deport blacks/nonwhites". its really sad. i picked naruto because naruto was what i noticed the most in the username/profilepic of internet racists
@@vividbunny7194 mh maybe you have to found out why they are racists/facists in the first place cuz like I often thought about what defines your personality? and a lot of stuff comes from what you consume in your environment so like your parents or the kids you play at school and stuff like that and I guess sometimes the People who have bad parents and no friend in school or something like that tend to bind themselfs to everything even if that means joining a racists/facists group cuz like as a human you kinda need love to survive - also cuz the anime naruto ofc teaches a lot of good stuff but like if you identify more with sasuke or stuff like that and dont have a friend like naruto what do you think happens then?

@@hemticc6912 Well, i'm from Czech Republic we have a site where you can upload everything you want and there i'm watching it. But for you...i think you can buy a CD with full trilogy of LOK and ATLA...
I watched ATLA back when it started to air and loved every minute of it. As a 6 year old kid, you just enjoy the action and funny scenes - and not really pay attention to the messages in between the lines. I watched it again when I was 13, when Nicktoons would do re-runs in the mornings, before going to school. I started to understand the passiveness some characters would have with situations and that has always stayed with me. Now, that it's back on Netflix, and I'm nearly done rewatching the series - every episode is so meaningful. Every character, even the minor ones, are so precious. Every obstacle the Avatar gang and Zuko and Iroh has gone through has meaningful purposes to it. This is more than just a series, it literally helped me how to be my best self and I'm so thankful for its existence.
I remembered waiting in anticipation for the Finale. The week long wait and doing all the chores so that my parents would let me and my sister watch it that Saturday night! Just great memory.
I've watched the whole series 4 weeks ago and I still absolutely love it. Had tears in almost every episode. This is one of the best series I've ever watched, and definitely the best in this genre. Still worth as an adult :) Thanks for this nice avatars love, love it 😀
kalimba has easily got to be the most relaxing/peaceful instrument ever no competition Edit: 7 month later. I bought a $25 kalimba and I have now learned to play this song. 😁
The song is only 1 minute long and is played by 1 single instrument. But the feels are so many, and last a lifetime. This song lives rent-free in my head since 2004 or 2005, I don't remember the exact first time I watched ATLA and heard this song.
Reminds me of the pure times.. I started watching this with my brother who was attracted to the message that this show presented.. he passed away at the age of 27 during a period of depression shortly after the passing of my father at 52… I didn’t get to finish the show till recently.. I’m 27 and now I’m getting over all of this and also lost my job and felt like a broken spirit.. watching the rest of the series and especially the part where he goes through his chakras provided so much peace.. I wish this episode was compulsory. I’m trying to watch it with my nephews, like how my brother used to watch it with me, so that they can carry on this pure learning
I turned 18 this year, its now been 10 years since I've been watching this show since i was 8 when I started, I've rewatched it over 20 times in these years and these scenes still make me so nostalgic, happy and sad at the same time, thanks so much for this masterpiece bryan konietzko and Mike dimartino
After watching it as a kid and never fully getting to the end I finally watched the whole thing. This show and every lesson it’s taught me gave me so such much inspiration and I’ve realized that no show can ever match how much avatar has for so many people. One love everyone.
This literally made me eyes water and get goosebumps. I’m really surprised this made me so emotional. I loved avatar and I’ve been watching it again, so thank you for posting this! It’s beautiful.
When I was 15/16 yo I had a dream that I was flying on Appa through space among hundreds of stars and I could hear this song. I felt so happy when I woke up and then I felt such sadness and melancholy because I knew that was my childhood saying goodbye.

I turned this on over my speaker in the livingroom where myself and my roommates are. We all stated crying while doing our homework for college....I'm getting our chocolate.
i'm 20 years old and only watched ATLA now... but even still, the series has moved me to tears so many times. maybe it's because I'm in therapy, making some hard realizations, and finding myself relating to the kids while I work through my own childhood the way they are in the show... there is a sense of peace, comfort, and hope that the show has given me while I face difficult times as an adult. even though I still kinda wish I had it as a kid, I am glad to have watched it for the first time when I have needed it and could appreciate its writing as an adult writer. Thank you for this beautiful cover.
i remember the swamp and the sunset in the background, along with the notion that everything is connected. It feels comforting and vast, eager and a little afraid
This gave me such a warm feeling in my heart. That little tingle and sort of weight you get in your chest when you want to cry and but also smile and it’s sort of melancholy but for the most part very sentimental and just feels like a something has resolved itself. So hard to explain.

Absolutely. I feel like I enjoyed this series more as an adult than i ever did as a child
put it on spotify (:
but really do, i would be jamming out to this all day everyday
I just love how this song manages to portrayed love, a love that cares and protects.
not me currently crying to this. i love this show, ever since i was young.
I remembered waiting in anticipation for the Finale. The week long wait and doing all the chores so that my parents would let me and my sister watch it that Saturday night! Just great memory.
Beautiful
The place this tune will forever hold, in my heart, I just- 🥺❤️
Nostalgia came and hit me when listening to this,
Thank you for making this .
I've watched the whole series 4 weeks ago and I still absolutely love it. Had tears in almost every episode. This is one of the best series I've ever watched, and definitely the best in this genre. Still worth as an adult :)
Thanks for this nice avatars love, love it 😀
All you have to say is "yip yip!" And years of nostalgia come flooding back
Doctor: “you have one minute to live”
Me: I know what to do
This made me so emotional. It's crazy how much of an impact the shows you grow up watching have on you.
When I listen to this everything is alright.
kalimba has easily got to be the most relaxing/peaceful instrument ever
no competition
Edit: 7 month later. I bought a $25 kalimba and I have now learned to play this song. 😁
I'm so grateful for my childhood as it was, but it's times like these when I wish I had enjoyed it more.
The song is only 1 minute long and is played by 1 single instrument.
But the feels are so many, and last a lifetime.
This song lives rent-free in my head since 2004 or 2005, I don't remember the exact first time I watched ATLA and heard this song.
*Finally youtube recomends some stuff I'm interested in*
For the Alliance lol
Reminds me of the pure times.. I started watching this with my brother who was attracted to the message that this show presented.. he passed away at the age of 27 during a period of depression shortly after the passing of my father at 52… I didn’t get to finish the show till recently.. I’m 27 and now I’m
getting over all of this and also lost my job and felt like a broken spirit.. watching the rest of the series and especially the part where he goes through his chakras provided so much peace..
I don’t know how much I would pay if they made an second series ( not like the legend of Korra but one year later )
Uncle IROH:
“He’s taking everybody...”
“Even the cook..” *sobs*
saddest moment in the show
What about da teaaa
After watching it as a kid and never fully getting to the end I finally watched the whole thing.
This show and every lesson it’s taught me gave me so such much inspiration and I’ve realized that no show can ever match how much avatar has for so many people.
One love everyone.
This literally made me eyes water and get goosebumps. I’m really surprised this made me so emotional. I loved avatar and I’ve been watching it again, so thank you for posting this! It’s beautiful.
Whenever I hear this song I think of them flying on Appa basically saying “So Team Avatar, what did we learn today?”
When I was 15/16 yo I had a dream that I was flying on Appa through space among hundreds of stars and I could hear this song. I felt so happy when I woke up and then I felt such sadness and melancholy because I knew that was my childhood saying goodbye.
That's a beautiful dream. Never forget it, for your own sake
I never forget this melody playing in some of the melancholy moments of the first season. Really captured that childhood sadness and uncertainty
nostalgia always gets me emotional. i just get reminded of how long its been since i was truly happy
I can’t explain how nostalgic this is to me
"Love is brightest in the dark."
This is the kind of tunes I wanna hear when its raining. UA-cam recommending it during rainy season kinda creeps me out but okay
Damn near started crying. Man my childhood was good with this
this song brings up so many emotions, i can’t explain it. But Avatar is truly such an amazing show
This is so nostalgic even though I watched the show again last July😂😂😂😂
this brought back so many many memories real fast

I turned this on over my speaker in the livingroom where myself and my roommates are. We all stated crying while doing our homework for college....I'm getting our chocolate.
I want this as they lay me down for the last sleep I’ll ever have.
i'm 20 years old and only watched ATLA now... but even still, the series has moved me to tears so many times. maybe it's because I'm in therapy, making some hard realizations, and finding myself relating to the kids while I work through my own childhood the way they are in the show... there is a sense of peace, comfort, and hope that the show has given me while I face difficult times as an adult. even though I still kinda wish I had it as a kid, I am glad to have watched it for the first time when I have needed it and could appreciate its writing as an adult writer. Thank you for this beautiful cover.
I just finished avatar yesterday and it literally changed my life I love that show so much
Hits right on the feellings
My child hood☹️I miss it
The nostalgia hit me like a Tsunami
This song bring back such a nostalgic feeling that I can’t even describe, it makes me feel kind of emotional in a painful yet nice way.
i remember the swamp and the sunset in the background, along with the notion that everything is connected. It feels comforting and vast, eager and a little afraid
No te sientas mal porque ya no estás en esos momentos, siéntete feliz porque los viviste :3
i dont know what is kalimba before until this video on my recommendation
It’s so beautiful and sad 😭
This gave me such a warm feeling in my heart. That little tingle and sort of weight you get in your chest when you want to cry and but also smile and it’s sort of melancholy but for the most part very sentimental and just feels like a something has resolved itself. So hard to explain.
Thank you Avatar Aang for accompanying my childhood 20 years ago
