For final step apply the pro40 to the work piece like applying wax, then use the show stopper to buff the polish off. Do it in small sections, dont want it to dry to much
Man! The Salon Airstream looks great, good job Ian, your clients are going to be so happy! It's funny that I could see the reflection of my Airstream in the Salon Airstream, that's how good your polishing is! If I can, considering the Covid situation, I'll be there as much as possible to assist you with my Airstream, I don't want you to burn out, if it's not fun it's not fun... Good to see you my friend! Steady on...
Thanks for the tips, Ian! I have a video coming tomorrow about stripping the clear coat on our airstream and which paint stripper worked best! Almost to the polishing stage and can’t wait to get her all gussied up
I was hoping to follow this build thru your channel from the beginning to end, but that is just not going to happen. Unfortunately none of the videos are in chronological order in the playlist and I can't tell what order to manually follow. I'll catch a few, though. You obviously have done a lot of great work.
They are in chronological order of my life. It has not end lol. I post stuff from the projects I have, life updates, things about my chickens. This is not just a how to, step 1/2/3 channel.
Appreciate the incredibly thorough content Ian! Been really draggin my feet on my restoration project. Bought a '64 Safari already gutted that needs a lot of attention, most notably on the frame (gonna have to replace most if not all of the cross members and outriggers). I was wondering if you could do a general outline of your order of operations when you're tackling a big resto, from start to finish. It seems every little thing has a "but first" and I would hate to make more work for myself down the line (example: do you reattach the shell to a restored frame before or after you insulate/re-install the belly pan?). Could make for a super informative video for someone like myself that's less experienced but wants to work wisely. Thanks!!
Very good videos you are putting out!! One question,, As you polish around the windows is how does the compound do on glass. Obviously you want to just do minimal touching of the glass but there has to be some. Do you cover up the window with something or just be careful?
shove a paypal donation link in the description will ya ! i've watched 3 of your videos already, you've saved me a LOT of time in trial and error... happy to send ya some $$$
I have a 2023 FC 30RB and would LOVE to have it polished like this. Beautiful work!

Great video Ian. Thanks for the insight on the final stages and what works best for you. Hope you are all well!
Great Content! You will definitely be my go-to when I embark on the airstream journey.
So instead of flat padding it u use softer cotton pad to pull out and lines etc
