I am constantly amazed at how similar this breed of dogs are.. ours passed at 12, and was the best dog we ever had.. been 2 years and still miss Bo every day.. when I watch GSPs on UA-cam, it’s amazing how many common traits they have.. it’s also the reason we haven’t got another one.. I am 70 now and don’t have the energy to do the best with one anymore
I agree. A lot of GSP’s are so similar but has their own quirkiness. Love their personalities. Must be hard to lose them especially how wonderful they are. These dogs take a lot out of us and at times its hard to keep up with their energy.

I have to shower mine min 4 times a week and the paws every day anyway. Our cimate means snow, rain, muud as much as you can think off, but some suny warm time too, but than its the water he can see even a muudy little spot, stream whatever comes across
Totally understand, they get more demanding the older they get, mine gives off this funny rattle of her teeth when really excited and stamps her front paws if I'm taking long to leave on an adventure, very vocal dogs absolutely love them,

Trundra is so funny she does everything like my young gsp does always what to be chewing something or winging about something to do lol mine gsp loves thm yak bones to but don’t take long to get through thm but least thy are save for thm to eat thy don’t splinter and it’s good tht you can put the last bit in the microwave and thy can have tht like a nice crunchy treat .but yes they do worry you all day long they get board whn nothing to occupy there brains😂🤣😍🥰😘
😂😂 they always want to do something. Plenty of times when she is tired but refuses to sleep and stay still. Yes, the bones does keep them occupied when we want to get work done and she loves it. Once the bone is gone then she’s back to bugging us 😅🤣

Mine talks back all the time. That high pitched yawn is the worst 😂 When I tell him to chill he barks as loud as he can. People think he's dangerous cause before they see him they hear his bark...sounds like it belongs to something twice his size. He knows he can clear the 7 foot fence with ease but he prefers to pretend he is a basketball and jumps about 6 feet in the air as they pass by. 😂😂😂😂 he's a dork. My son calls him dobby the house elf cause his ears are always folded. Lmao!
I watch a lot of vids on GSP's , helps me remember my boy 'Rocket' passed last year after 16 years with me, he was never this annoying, but still required a lot of attention, all of which and more returned with un-conditional love
My GSP Samson is 14 months old, I show him your videos with Tundra. He's exactly the same as her, drives us crazy with the needy no matter what his day is like and a total food monster 😂❤
Lol! I hold the yak chews and the cheek rolls for my GSP too! How do they get us to do all these things for them? These dogs are so much the same no matter where they are raised. 😂

Walk to kitchen *click click click...walk to bathroom...*click click click...shut door to office...paws stretched under door...sit on toilet...BOOM!!!...door busted wide open HI MOM! Lays in doorway. The cycle never ends. Think youre going for a short walk...3 miles later...youve been walked 😂😂😂
I can't do anything without my Weimer being connected to my hip. If I go outside without him, I can hear him howling and running around trying to see me through the windows in different rooms. When I come back in (approx. 3 minutes later), it's like he hasn't seen me all day. Love your pup no matter what. You are his world.
We have had GSPs and when they are not sprawled on the couch sleeping they like to be running free in the fields and woodlands. They were always very noisy on the outward journey in anticipation of the wild open spaces to race around and flush out the wildlife.
Our GSP has a 176' x 80' backyard that's fenced with a 6' fence. On the side of our house are two 20' x 25' fenced areas. How much running room does your GSP have?
I have a GSP and a whippet. The whippet is way worse than this. The GSP just wants to go play or hunt. I had to just do it on a schedule, and then he was only annoying at the time he knew we were supposed to play ball.
@@pamelasette6892 prevention of stomach twisting? When she was a puppy we would feed by hand so she wouldn’t eat too fast. Now she has slown down as she has gotten older. We make sure she doesn’t exercise 2 hours before or after eating as well. We have not had any major stomach issues with her.
He’s not clingy, he’s under exercised. At least 2 - 45 minutes exercise sessions are needed for this breed. I used to take mine to forrest preserves, open areas and dog parks. Additionally he went to doggie day care 2x per week. Only now at 9 years old is he slowing down.
Maybe you need to get him another dog to play with and for company. He doesn’t seem to have many toys. My dog has a huge toy box that’s packed full. That would keep him busy.
@@tundrathegsp Our dog sleeps with us too, but has many beds. Her toys are in a box in the open. so she can play with them whenever she wants. She knows where they are. I was just thinking Tundra might be bored.. Don’t take offence. That’s not how I meant it to sound.

As the "mom" of a GSP, ALL of this rings true. I envy you living in a dry climate. Not all the time, just everytime I have to clean muddy feet.😊

Is it just me or she has got totally innocent child like eyes! Leaving her even for a walk to the super market would break my heart!!
She does have child like soft eyes and it is sad leaving her alone even just for a few minutes.
