I used to live in Mesa in 1994. One night my friend and I decided to go camping in that area. When we got to the campground and out of the car, we had this horrible feeling of terror. We left right away and went home. I’ll never forget that feeling. I don’t know if a creepy person was out there or what, but it permeated the campground

I live down south about 40 min in land from the gulf of Mexico in Alabama, pretty much on the Florida border. I've seen one of those invisible "predator" looking things. It was watching me with my horses back in the tree line. When I looked directly at it, it jumped like it was startled I saw it. I had instant fear. It dropped forward to the ground and crawled through the brush and it was gone. I don't do drugs, I don't drink, and I've never hallucinated as far as I know. I believe there's things in this world yet to be discovered. I didn't feel threatened and it didn't make a sound, but that was two years ago and I haven't stepped near these woods that are all around me. I keep to the roads. It's a shame, I used to love being with my horses out there.

They are more afraid of us then we are of them. Why do you think that the being is invisible. Maybe the disappearing people where killed because they acted out of fear. You have to try to be peaceful. I’ve survived bear encounters this way. Always stay armed but peaceful. That’s my suggestion. I’d try and communicate.

I'm Maori from NZ and was guided to your video as soon as I switched my phone on. As soon as you started describing your encounter, the first thing that came into my mind was that it was definitely a SASQUATCH and that the Indigenous People's of that area know this, and have always known this. There is a good reason why they seldom venture into that area; fools rush in where Angels fear to tread. The Maori word for sacred is tapu, and like the Native American Indian people, Maori instinctively know where to walk and we're not to walk wherever we are in the world. Yes Bro, that area is TAPU AF! I'm glad that you listened to your instincts to get the hell outta Dodge that night. I personally believe that there are other phenomena that dwell in that area as well... darker creatures. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I think your story fits a pattern of stories that spans the entire west coast wilderness, from California to Washington.
I believe everything you said, however, I also believe there may be “feral” human beings that live in those mountains. Of course human beings can mimic anything and there is nothing that would preclude a human from trying to scare other humans by grunting and pretending to be an animal. Logically, if it were that dark, if it were a human pretending to be an animal; it would be a dumb move as the person wouldn’t know if your camp had firearms whereby someone might shoot at the person.
Missing411 with David Paulides explores this phenomena in depth in his books and in his movies. You may very well want to reach out to him to see what he may be able to tell you.
You were very smart to high tail it out of there. Had you stayed, you may not have survived. If it was a Sasquatch, it definitely had the power to reason and knew those lands in all directions.
You also have to wonder if it were the Apaches themselves just trying to scare you out of there.
I had an encounter with a UFO in California that is so incredible, I won’t even tell people because most won’t believe it.

Yes I've definitely had the same feeling, while hiking the "Wave Cave" trail. I went off trail, but I was barely off of it. There were some abandoned camp fire sites that I usually go to and then travel about 30 ft to some sand wash where I chill out. Literally barely off the main trail (I can still hear hikers sometimes) and I get this gut wrenching feeling that something is just not right at all. It's that feeling you get when you think someone is watching you at a restaurant, or in a dream. You turn your head, and you can either be right or wrong, but out in the desert you can either run or stand there to face it. I ran of course, because I am a coward.

Been thinking about this story of yours.
I have camped in these mountains. There are free range cattle roaming around. They are quite rude. I'll be sound asleep and they will wonder into my camp drop a cow patty and leave.
I have learned to always sleep with my boots on.
Scorpion's like to crawl into boots.
Sometimes I have to quickly slip my feet into my boots so can I chase off the rude cattle only to get stung on the foot by a scorpion. That really sucks. That and stepping in a fresh cow patty that rude cow left behind is a bit iratating
    too.

I’m 2018 I was fishing on the north side of Blue point bridge on the salt river. I was on the east shore just about a rocks throw from the bridge. It was in June and I was night fishing. I started fishing about 8 pm just as the sun was going down. It was during the week and I was the only one there once it got dark. I planned on fishing till 1 or 2 I’m the morning. A little after 11 pm on the opposite bank along side of the bridge I heard something come down the steep inbangment. It sounded like something big like a cow or horse but it was too steep for them to enter the river at that location. It came down the cliff and into the water pretty loud. It was pitch black and I couldn’t see what it was. It stopped as soon as it went in. It was like it wanted me to hear it. After it was in the water it just stood there and then no noise. It Just waited. I’m prior Military and an avid outdoorsman and have lived in Az all my life. But to tell you the truth that experience was bone chilling if you will. Needless to say when the original pause came it Quickly grabbed my stuff and got the heck out of there. I hauled ass to my truck and I was Out!!! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Talk about freaky, I walked six hours in following a wash and when I sat down to take a break I looked across the wash and in the middle of a big pile of sticks there was a really old looking cloth doll. It was white cloth with black hair and eyes and was wearing a white dress. Wigged me the F out, of all of the places to sit down for a break. Felt like I was being watched the whole time. At one point I climbed up a hill out of the wash and as I looked around I saw what I thought to be a person on another hill about 30 yards away. I stared for few seconds trying to figure out wtf I was seeing because I was in the middle of nowhere. I swear it looked like a 4-5 foot tall woman wearing a buckskin dress with long black hair covering her face, but I felt like she was looking right at me. I kept staring, trying to convince myself it was anything else....and then her chest moved up and down like taking a big breath. WHOA, chilled me to the bone. I put up my hand as to greet and threw my brightest vibe out and she disappeared. Be careful out there. I don't know what's going on out there but a red and white jet flew overhead close enough to see the pilot look at me, twice, even though I was in a very narrow canyon and couldn't be seen any other way. Somehow, he knew exactly where I was. I gotta get back out there, lol!

People here know this exist but we also know the military over here doesn’t want us saying anything about it and to pretend we don’t see what we see, also once in a while they will have a little sign up sheet at the town library asking who has seen what, and have a meeting of some kind, I’m not going to be stupid enough to tell any official what exactly I know, because I know way more than this, I’ve only told you about this right now because this is not my actual name and I have just moved out of state. No one knew I was out there and I wasn't even close to a trail. I thought it odd that there was a bunch of electrical wires and fencing that far out in the middle of nowhere.

Definitely good story! Subscribed! Something like a Bigfoot would require a huge amount of food and water intake to survive. There is not much edible vegetation or animals to eat in the Superstitions for a creature that size to realistically sustain themselves long term, they would definitely stay way North out of the desert. The critters down here are relatively small. It would also be incredibly hard for something as large as a Bigfoot to hide from people in the area. I totally believe the story of your experience, but something like a Bigfoot is extremely unlikely for many reasons. Also, the Apaches definitely killed the Peraltas.

From what you described it was probably a javelina. They are all over that area, they are large, they feed, and water, at night. Being close to the water they were probably coming in to drink. They don't have good eyesight so there is a chance depending on wind direction that they didn't even smell you. A sasquatch would be the last thing I would suspect.....

    • @jacketedhollowpoints
      @jacketedhollowpoints  5 років тому +3

That was my first thought too, But javelina don't throw rocks. I would think it is far more likely it was something other than a sasquatch, even on the coldest Arizona night it's probably still a bit too warm for sasquatch. I also considered it could be a wild horse as they are all over that area.

A little town called mesa huh? According to wikapedia mesa is the largest suburban city in the Entire United States. Its the 35th largest city overall in the USA. Is bigger than Miami, Minneapolis, & Saint Louis. It is the 3rd largest city in Arizona trailing Phoenix at approx 1.7 million ppl & Tucson which has a population of 548,000 ppl. Mesa's population as of 2019 was 518,000 ppl, only 30,000 ppl less than Tucson & considering Tucson only grew 4% over the last 10 years while Mesa grew 20% in that same time span & if it continues at that pace will pass Tucson in the next decade. Mesa is not part of the superstition mountain area, it is a suburb of Phoenix which are both a part of Maricopa County. In fact Mesa is only seperated from phoenix by both Tempe & Scottsdale. The Phoenix metro area consisting of previous mentioned as well as Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale, etc. While Maricopa County is not super known for tall buildings, it is a huge uniterupted city with a population of 4,480,000 ppl give or take.
