And for example - it's very important to teach your kids to look both ways before crossing a road. There's a very logical reason for that. What there is NOT ANY logical reason for, is banning a fictional universe made for kids (first made in books, then brought to the movie theater) for ZERO logical reason AT ALL.
Being a parent is very tough. So can we agree that we should eliminate non-logical decisions that only makes it harder for no reason?

You should but the 20th anniversary reunion, it’s a genuinely good run down of the series and it’s impact.
Also, the game feels more like an HP movie than the “Fantastic Beast” films. One of the most engaging things about the HP films is there’s a mystery that has to be solved in each one.
SS: what’s being hidden in the school, why does Snape want the stone?
CoS: who opened the chamber of secrets, who is attacking the students?
PoA: why is Sirius after Harry?
GoF: who put Harry’s name in the goblet and why?
OotP: what is Voldy looking for?
HBP: who is the half-blood prince, what is Draco working on?
DH1&2: where are the horcruxes, how do we destroy them?
The “Fantastic Beasts” films don’t have that. All of them are very much “here’s a thing that’s happening, here’s what we have to do to accomplish it, go team.”
The only reason there would be any copyright claims on the music is because of scammers falsely claiming the music for themselves. According to the developers at the beginning of last year Hogwarts Legacy music is supposed none copyright.
Yeah, exactly. I remember Chandler Wood, the community manager even talked about that in one of the lives Avalange did last year and/or in the FAQ on twitter. Would be sad if because of some scammers that changed. Cause without the music the game loses quite a bit of its magic imo. The soundtrack is really beautiful. Still listening to it on a daily basis to study or relax! :)
It’s better if you do run around everywhere cause you find more hidden stuff then just fast traveling
@3:33:16 Ruth Singer, yo that's my mom's name. It was crazy when I first played this. It meant alot to see her name in a game. She passed away in 2018. Seeing her name kinda felt like a hug from her.

If you decide to play as another house later on there’s special missions in each house and different ways you meet Jackdaw. Gryffindor: hunt for the missing pages, Hufflepuff: prisoner of love (prison of Azkaban), ravenclaw: ollivanders heirloom, slitherin: scropes last hope. I hope you enjoy your journey through Hogwarts 🥰. I also heard that if they make a 2nd Hogwarts legacy we might be getting to play quidditch.

The only way to get the Platinum trophy for this game is to play through each house up until you find the room with all the giant old wizards paintings who give you your challenges (I can't remember what the room is called). All the quests after that point for each house are the same.
It is cool to see all the houses and how they were designed. Each house is super special! 🥰
@@taylorludwig32 Yup. Only the search for the missing pages is house-specific. And Hufflepuff gets the best one out of the four, by far. Some of the dialog during quests is a bit different depending on your house though. Whether that is enough to warrant multiple playthroughs is up to you. Myself, I've finished the story as a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, and are about halfway through Slytherin and 25% through Gryffindor.
And the room is called the Map Chamber.
You don't know this because it was never mentioned in the movies but in the book version of Half Blood Prince Dumbledore shows Harry a memory of Tom Riddle applying for the Defense Against the Dark Arts teaching position. Because Professor Dumbledore rejected Tom Riddle's application for the job during the interview, Voldemort cursed the Defense Against the Dark Arts teaching position.
But because the Hogwarts Legacy game is set 100 years before Harry Potter even first attended Hogwarts, Voldemort wasn't even born yet. I might be dead wrong but I believe Tom Riddle was a student at Hogwarts during the 1940s. And Albus Dumbledore was only 9 years old at the time of Hogwarts Legacy which is set in 1890 according to the developers. In the Harry Potter books wizards don't get their Hogwarts letter until they are 11 years old.
That is except you. You are special. Somehow you didn't get magic until you turned 15. That is why you are a 5th year student in Hogwarts Legacy. It is very unusual and out of the ordinary for something like that to happen. That's why all the NPCs are making such a big deal.
BTW, Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black is Sirius Black's ancestor. He is mentioned in the books but only appears as a portrait during Order of the Phoenix and on. In the movie version his portrait only appeared for a second in Dumbledore's office when the Headmaster gave Phineas Nigellus Black's portrait the order to go check on his other paintings to see if Arthur Weasley actually did get attacked by a snake in the Ministry of Magic.
And to answer your question about the Womping Willow tree; Professor Dumbledore was the one who had that tree planted at Hogwarts so that young Remus Lupin can use the secret passage way under it to get to the Shrieking Shack during a full moon when Lupin was a student at Hogwarts during the 1970s.

20:00 i didn't notice this detail at first when playing the game, but you can see how when george dies, the player starts seeing thestrals that are carrying the carriage. Cool detail👍

I hope someone in the chat told you that your gear and wardrobe that you wear is what builds your shield up! That's why you need to raid the boxes you find to aquire clothes to build up your sheild and also sell at the markets for money! You can also put on higher quality stuff but still wear your favorite fit so you don't look ridiculous with a bunch of mismatched gear. Some high-quality stuff you'll find is weird looking, but it's good for your sheild!

p.s. I’ve seen youtubers include the music (from start to finish) and some don’t. But dialogue is all good.
Taking the time to explore your surroundings will really help you in the long run. You get XP from what you find. That's also how you can collect gear, money, and seeds. To help you out, a red ring around your head means it's unblockable, and you need to dodge. The yellow ring means you can block and counterattack. Timing is crucial.

I played through once, started the first day it came out. I've been putting off playing again to keep it fresh but I sure have the itch to play again now.
I am such a scenery simp tooo and this game delivers satisfaction for that all the way through. I'm the sort that, after I followed the quest lines for a while and got a broom, had to strike out on my own and just wander a bit. Flying on the broom in this game feels the most like really flying than in any other game i played before. And I just love taking on the bad guys, growing the plants and interacting with the magical creatures. It's truly beautiful and spectacular. Glad you will continue yo stream these.
Arkham Knight is the game that really nailed flying IMO. Well, gliding, not flying, but the distance and speed you can get gliding in Arkham Knight compared to the earlier Arkham games makes it essentially flying anyways. The one thing that _really_ irks me about flying in Hogwarts Legacy is how you can't look up or down. Having to land, or fly a long distance away, just to see what is right underneath you gets old quick.

Wow, this was the best Hogwarts Legacy playthrough I've seen (and I've watched quite a few)! I actually liked that you kept stopping to appreciate the scenery. The graphics are what makes this game so great imo. And I love that you had the same thoughts about "Thomas Brown" as I did, I feel seen lol. Can't wait for you to discover more of that world!
Revellio locates puzzles, chests and field guide pages the ping is directional in your headphones the field guide pages are invisible but glitch in and out slightly so you know where to cast the spell, puzzles and chests will be highlighted yellow
Some facts about the wizarding world. Professor Black was two headmasters before Dumbledore and was one of the least liked headmasters. If you go to Hogsmeade during the day, you will hear people complain about him. From the books, the Weeping Willow (the violent tree) was planted the summer before James Potter, Sirius Black, Lupin and Snape came to Hogwarts, so Lupin could have a safe place to transform during the full moon. There is a lot of information about it in the books, I suggest you read them, because it will make more sense on what comes before or during Harry's time at Hogwarts. Also, the Defense of Dark Arts position didn't start to change until Harry became a student. I am more than happy and willing to answer questions about the books, movies, or game.

Just as a heads up, this story takes place in the late 1880's to 1890. The two greatest wizards of all time, Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindleward are not even old enough to attend Hogwarts and Durmstrang for another few years yet. That means the Whomping Willow Tree that you hate so much hasn't been planted yet, not for another 80 years. It's actually a brilliant time to play in, as so much is still close to what we sort of know, but far earlier enough that we don't get too many callbacks to bump into from the books/movies.
I’m not sure if you know this already but Bellatrix is actually part of the house Black. Lestrange is her husband’s last name. She and Narcissa are sisters so that means Draco is also part of the Black family. So they are your family too😂
I did enjoy playing Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner Of Azkaban but I also enjoyed Order Of The Phoenix because you can explore more and I especially loved levitating rocks at the stone circle and smack people with them so they roll down the hill and or benches which can be found in plenty of places around the castle.
You could watch "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them". There are 3 movies of that. There would be 5, but for some reason they stopped making more.

Its funny I read in a fanfic once that abra kadabra was muggles hearing a wizard say avada kedavra and misstook what they overheard. So basically they heard a wizard killing someone. Was spooky.

Coming from a slytherin, hufflepuffs are really good friends with slytherins because the elements earth and water goes together. For slytherins being misunderstood by people, hufflepuffs knows them well like an open book. 💛🖤❤️💚🩶

Idk if anyone told you, but the womping willow wasn't planted until James, Sirius and Lupins 1st year specifically for Lupin to go to the shrieking shack for the full moons. So I don't think the womping willow will appear in the game at least not on Hogwarts grounds
