FLYING the World’s BEST BUSINESS CLASS *Lockdown Edition*

- Is this still the world's best Business Class? What's changed? Do you still get the same service, food and overall experience whilst travelling in these testing lockdown times? I got the chance to travel on what’s widely regarded as the world’s best business class, which even challenges many First Class products out there. This was a fascinating experience and I hope you enjoy the flight with me.
Of course there were several challenges to do this, and usually this would involve flying long haul. How is it possible to do so when the world is still locked down? Well follow my journey, I’ll share with you each step of the way. What’s more I also have had the chance to try another competing business class product, offering an interesting comparison to the world’s best. I can tell you now, sadly it falls flat… but then again don’t take my word for it, take a look and let me know in the comments below.
The flight was taken on two of Qatar’s 777-300. One was refurbished with QSuites (as this is what they’re doing across their fleet at present) and the other was a new 777 with their latest and newest version of the product. Subtle difference in the finishes, and increase height of the suite itself. Other things to note and what we’ll be finding out today is what the food is like? So many airlines have substantially cut their offerings. In fact the first flight is a prime example of this. However Qatar has proceeded to offer it’s business class passengers as revised and adapted service, still maintaining a very high level of quality and value for your ticket. Super impressed on this one! What's more on today's flight I got the entire mini cabin to myself. This allowed me to try out all the different variants of QSuites. This includes the double bed, and varieties of single QSuites. Let's not forget the Quad!
It also offers an interesting insight into what longer haul flying is like at present, the difficulties with boarders changing, airports having varied rules and having to wear a mask constantly.

I agree. Gave a sub bc probably my favorite channel for airlines.
Probably won't ever fly any of them but much more interesting and honest than some of the compensated but I also like seeing the business and first class experience more.

I flew Q suites November 2019 DOH-ADL-DOH on the A350-900. Absolutely blown away by the cabin, the lounge, the ambience, the service, the crew, and of course the food... not to mention their awesome pink champagnes. I still have the pyjamas too 😁. I had a centre seat on the way to ADL, one with seat closest to the door, and on the return I was in a window seat, closest to the window. I actually think the suite works best when the door is right next to the seat, just seemed roomier to me. 100% would fly again. 👍🏻

I am am old school nonrev traveler who traveled the world via employee family pass rider and remember the enjoyment of traveling. I really appreciate you showing the opportunities that even airport luxuries that most people have no awareness of (and it's either included or very reasonable)

I fell down the rabbit hole, now I’m going back through all the old videos. I may never fly first class but at least I can see what the fuss is about. The best thing about this guy is he’s impartial and not bought by the airlines. As long as he sticks to that I think he’ll have a big channel eventually.

Or it could be the number of vloggers making videos, pissing off the passangers who've paid full price for their seat? Trek Trendy is a good channel, and it's all good as the cabin is empty. But if someone was filming next to me, I would not be thrilled. That NonStopDan guy is always filimg sta next to someone, I'd give that fake twat a slap if I got lumbered next to him.
As a nervous flyer I would definitely appreciate the extra space and would go for the quad seats, if my budget allowed so haha!
QSuites are even more roomy and luxurious than they look on screen. Last flew them 2018. Excellent crew, fabulous service and wonderful food. So glad they are keeping it up. They deserve the praise they get (unlike some of their competition).

Excellent report! I had the pleasure (B.C.) of flying from Houston (USA) to Singapore last year, business class, A350. As good as your report was, it doesn't really come close to the ambiance I experienced. The crew was spectacular, the food amazing. One of the flight attendants invited me up front to the galley for a proper wine tasting of their various goodies. I dined in the restaurant in Doha (not an easy task) before connecting into Singapore. Sadly, they bumped me onto Singapore Airlines for my return. Singapore has been the gold standard for business class flying, but I did not get that "spoiled" feeling that I had with Qatar. Surprisingly, Qatar business tickets are significantly less expensive on most of their routes out of the US than our domestic lines. I figure, if the Emir of Qatar wants to subsidize me, I'm all for it! It is really an amazing airline. I hope, once the craziness dies down, to get to fly Turkish out of the States an into Europe. OBTW: I had no idea that Qatar had an airport hotel, and they Had (with a capital H) a swimming pool too. With a 3 hour layover, that was a no go, but something to try in the future. Thanks again!
First time we flew in qsuite we had an infant and it was truly amazing having that extra space for the baby when it’s converted to a double bed! The food is truly amazing and the service has to be the best I have tried in all my travels. Having tried first, business, and economy class the service really holds up in all the classes. Economy class despite the cramped space, it has decent leg room , the service is still really good, and the food is still delicious.
Wow I was watching this from my suggested videos and just assumed that you would have at least 100k subs but to see you only have 8k with this production quality is insane
Brilliant video Will! I remember my first experience with Qatar biz which was head and shoulders above the rest... then came QSuites 🤯🥰 - they just keep raising the bar. Always the reverse window for me as I love looking at the wing/engine... and have no-one to share the double bed with 😂 Looking forward to your next adventure!

Imagine in the near future that double bed turns into a cockpit and a small aircraft and drops down from the belly of the plane in the event of an emergency. Lol this flight and bed is AMAZING!!!
Another great video. The airport hotels were quite nice and to be right there in the terminal was great. I love the quad if I were flying with family or friends. The doubles were quite nice if I knew nobody would be next to me but if alone I’d probably choose a single to be sure of my privacy. Excellent and enjoyed the video as always.

Lucky enough to go London-Adelaide return. The whole thing was a bucket list dream from start to finish. Middle seats and the double bed are great, but rear facing window seats are the best. Once in a lifetime experience...

Would it be possible for you to mention in your videos about how you pay for the flights? You could say if you used something like airmiles or cash and if it was cash how much you paid for it.
Personally, I would also be interested in knowing the way you get your miles. In the US you can get a lot of credit cards with bonus points but in the UK there don't seem to be as many.
This is a personal question but what kind of job do you have? As a student it would be amazing to find a career where I can afford these sort of experiences.

Fantastic content - those suites are insane, but the configuration is confusing, so will need expert guidance, when the time comes..... Qatar is an airline I have zero experience with, but your footage along with the wonderful crew who looked after you all so attentively on both flights, have more than sold it to me! Just how many bottles of LP Rosé did you consume?! Back in the days when I could leave Australia I used to fly Qatar Q Suites regularly to Europe - so happy to see they are still as awesome as ever. Can’t wait to get back to travelling with Qatar again

The Airport Hotel in Doha is absolutely fabulous. And the lounge showers and dining on demand is better than buffet

Lucky enough to go London-Adelaide return in QSuite. Central seats are great fun, but can get a bit stuffy. So, window seats are better; and if you are really lucky, they make up your bed in the centre seats ! On the A350 900, the smaller rear cabin is wonderful. It was the most amazing once in a lifetime experience and the crew were great on all 4 legs. Bravo Qatar for keeping flying.

My godfather works for JetBlue. He said that almost 3% of all emergencies happen on takeoff. Don’t take your shoes off, as if it lands, there might be derby. Also, when your on descent, put on shoes. And you can take your shoes off when cruising.

Are you travelling to countries that Germany has an air corridor set up with? Turkey and Qatar are deemed as 'safe'.
Unfortunately, even if I wanted to travel, I'd be faced with a 14 day quarantine on return to Oz - now at a personal cost of $3,000!
That currently also applies to interstate travel.
So you won't catch me flying again internationally until a safe vaccine is available (I wouldn't do what you're doing.)
But it's given me time to plan at least 10 future (leisure) trips and learn more about flight hacking.
Qatar was always on my list . Now that it serves LP rose, it's a must! My fave champers!
No mention of the food on the long haul stretch? Great food and wine would be a large part of my reason for using J class.
Pots with plastic lids is not my idea of fun.
Interesting that Turkish no longer like filming on board (and Qatar actively encourages it!). Are they going the way of Etihad?
And I'd read about Qatar economy making face masks compulsory for the entire flight. That'd put me off.
So I'll sit back and wait for the jab!

Hotel remind me of the hotel in Baltimore Airport Hyatt Business Hotel it was really nice and I showed up in my military uniform and all the people in suites were looking at me Like I was an odd duck...The front desk just smiled heavily as I walked up she seemed very genuinely happy to see a military member coming to the hotel vs the usual people with a lot of money.... LOL

I have really enjoyed watching your various First + Busines Class fight experiences. It is a shame that you do not enjoy the fine wines served on board and just sample the Champagne and then switch to DC as opposed to fine burgundies, bordeaux etc
What a great video..but you almost got me off guard, hehe. Looking at the title and then seeing a TK flight?? I thought: has he never flown the QSuites, hehe? But then they cam. Great coverage. I had similar expereinces with those wonderful QR crews and also covered it in my vids. Biggest surprise was breakfast. Breakfast flights are usually unpopular among us QR fans..in the ffora there are all kinds of tricks to make them somehow more enjoyable. But what i see here is unheard of..a really nice hot meal like a lunch..absolutely great! Your routing of course is a big mystery to all of us..was it just for fun? Anyway, great video and great to see that my fav airline is doing soo well these days compared to the rest.
The side seats should be staggered,the aisle seat needs to be back a bit,so the window seat person can get past the bed if need be.

The Turkish Airlines Business Class was great. However, there is a not so known airline called Gulf Air (I've flown with it from Bahrain to a few other countries a few times). There business class on the dreamliner plane is absolutely amazing. Much better than any business class I have ever seen. I think they try to make their business class very good as they usually have small planes so they don't have a first class. But make sure you get the dreamliner, their other planes don't have great business class.

Thank you for sharing your experience of flying during the pandemic. Whilst it helped my frustration in not being allowed to fly both domestically and internationally @ Australia, it strengthened my response to renew ALL my flight bookings as soon as possible. Qatar really knows how to spoil its customers as your review abundantly demonstrated.

Amazing video. Glad to see Qatar still provides their great service during these times. Bit sad as I was about to try out their business class with Q-suite on the A350, but then lock down happened. Hopefully will be able to try it one day
