My Billy had arthritis the last couple of years of his life. We used to take him to acupuncture and it helped a lot. At the beginning once a month was enough, but the last few months his sessions got closer and closer together. He passed away at 17 years. Love the tags.
Thanks Samarita. :-) Baylee sees a chiropractor a few times a year and that helps her too. He said at this point she only needs to be seen about four times a year but like you if we need to do more as time goes on we will. I'm glad you had 17 wonderful years with Billy. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I see wee Tommy scooped that Jellybean after all. I am so glad daily is doing better I feel her pain there are days when i wouldn't mind a wee boost. Laurie I really love those tags the colors are Awesome , Have a good one
Hey Laurie! Love those black and white stickers! Love your backgrounds and love the way everything came together! So much imagination you have! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
Jelli beans yum lol. WOW love the art journal page, sooo pretty!! I hope the herbs help Bailey and you better listen and eat the jelli bean lol. The colors on the tags go together so nice. Love them. Tfs
I watched 2 of your videos using the packaging material, odds & ends, etc. & each one of those tags are done so beautifully & with their own special touch...☺️❤️👍🏻!!! Thank you so very much for sharing, 🎀 Lily 🎀
I have been painting in soft pastels for a bit, than decided to go back to mix media. Nothing was going right until I saw your video and realized I did not take out any of my stuff to decorate my pages. The boxes were lined up on my shelves and I completely forgot about them. So thanks, now I can go and have some fun with the stickers, flowers, stamps, etc.
Thank you so much Laurie. They’re all so awesome and beautiful. And I will never throw out any packaging without having a really good look 👀 at it. Well done.
Love the colors & they turned out very pretty. I am starting to think Thomas Crown is Baylee's alter ego, because we know who really wanted that jelly bean 😉
Ok so I watched the first part & I loved it. As I was watching this one & you starts painting I was like, what? Then when the final product happened...I feel in love with it as well. Great job! I'm inspired! I'm a subscriber NOW! Tks for sharing!
Already won one of your paper bag journals, thanks a bunch....love your Junk your stuff videos, you are now saving me money...I was always buying tagbooks at the craft store and covering them with scrapbook paper, now I save packaging and make my own tags and can use my little bit of crafting money for other things. Love these videos, keep it up. Love your vids and thanks again.
Hi Lila :-) You are so welcome. I'm so glad the videos have helped you in some way. Thanks so much for watching. Your kind comments are appreciated and an encouragement to continue doing what I do. Thank you. :-)
Oh yes...the pear ones are my favorite too but I'm happy to share them with you virtually. lol Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy the videos. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Ya know I love these, of course, and a pop of yellow is always a touch of happiness! Awesome tags, Laurie! I was cleaning my craft room and omg, I have that Heirloom stack! Who knew? Not me! Haha! Loved hearing the green jelly bean story, wouldn't that be hilarious to see! As always enjoyed the video and hearing positive news about Baylee! Now quit hogging all those yummy jelly beans and pass the bag to me, any flavor, I'm not picky!! Hugs from Debra and Elvis!
lol I dare you to try to use up that paper stack. It's the everlasting stack unless you do something drastic to use up a lot of it which I am very close to doing. lol I did pass the jelly beans but I passed them to Elvis so he's the one you need to see if you didn't get your share. lol Thanks Debra. I enjoyed your comment. I appreciate hearing from you. Thanks for watching. :-) And Elvis...save some of those jelly beans for us would ya!!! lol
Laurie, as always love watching and listening to you. Glad Bailey is doing well. A whole bag of black jelly beans are the only ones... Have a great day. Roxy
Hi Shirley :-) Thank you very much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Years ago I would have given you all of the black ones but I somehow grew to love them but I will still share. lol Have a great weekend. I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)
I just found your video and have watched 2 tag videos so far and I am ready to get out my tags and start creating, I also subscribed to your channel. Going to watch 2 more tonight. Really have enjoyed them and I think they are beautiful. You do a great job.
Hi Judy. I'm so glad you found me. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos and feeing inspired to make tags. And thank you for subscribing. I really appreciate it. Thanks so much Judy. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. :-)
Everything you do is always so creative and outstanding but these tags in particular are right up my alley, i just love these colours! 💜 Our big black ( and lots of grey) boy Duke has just recently found he cant jump up on the bed or couch anymore and has joined both myself and the man who loves me on our morning routine of slowly getting up and stiffly hobbling around until the joints loosen up! 😃 i hate to see him like this but he still enjoys his morning walks with his dad. Its so cold here at the moment so Duke wears his wool lined bomber jacket on his walks and every morning his dad brings his jacket out he gets so excited he briefly turns into a pup again! 😃 not bad for a 13 and a half year old. 😃 thanks for sharing all your wonderful videos, ive been through most of them now.
Thanks Donna :-) Awww, say hi to Duke from Baylee and me. :-) Baylee gets that young look when food is involved. lol Thank you for watching my videos. I am so glad you enjoy them. I appreciate your kind comment too. :-)
OK Watched the first one and several others(I have a grocery bag book in progress!) and I was losing steam on the tags BUT, I see that I need to back off, pick a few things and a few tags and then do it! Gotcha! Round 2 tonight! Very inspiring but I have 25 or more years worth of "stuff" to use! LOL It might take a while but just think of all the wonderful books I can make and give to my artzy friends!!!! I sit here and think....Why didn't I think of this???? Thanks for sharing this!
I totally understand about losing steam. And I find it much easier to focus on a few things I want to use up so hopefully it will help you too. I'm right there with you on 25 years of stuff to use up. It's not all my fault though. I keep telling people that. lol I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Thanks Frances :-) Mentally sending you red jelly beans. I can't tell the difference between the cherry and the cinnamon though so you won't know which one it is until you bite into it. lol Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Hi Flo. I have a lot of "what???" moments so this won't be the first if you keep watching. lol I'm glad you like how they came out. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I am new to your channel and I am addicted! You are so creative and such an inspiration!! I have been saving packaging, but didn't really have a use in mind, now I know what to do with it! Thanks for the ideas!!
Hi Trish :-) Welcome to my channel, I am glad you are here. I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Hi Laurie, I'm really enjoying this "Junk your stuff" series! Haha, I can just hear Phoebe saying "Yes, cover that Green all the way UP!" Lol :D I love the Tags - they are all so very pretty! Tfs Big hugs, Ginny xo :o)
Thanks Ginny :-) Oh yes...Phoebe cringes when I use too much green. lol I like teasing her about it. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Laurie, these turned out so beautiful. It is amazing how you combine different things from your stash and make it look wonderful. Yellow is the compliment to purple and I love that you added the yellow ribbon. Baylee is very smart to know that Thomas likes the green jelli beans :=). Take care....~~rita
They are very pretty, especially from someone "junking." I have 8 unfinished tags on my desk and cannot for the life of me understand why they look like garbage, because I tried really hard....LOL Thanks Laurie. I will get the hang of it, if I keep watching.
Thanks so much. :-) Oh gosh....I am positive your tags are not garbage. Just play around with them some more. I'm sure they will be beautiful. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Laurie I love how you pulled the yellow in at the end, I noticed you toned down the white on the flowers 🌺. Isn't it sad when your fur babies get old and have trouble jumping? My Holly is almost eight but a Chihuahua with lil spindly legs and has trouble getting up on the bed. I'm glad to hear Bailey is doing better. ❤️🙏🏻
Thank you Eva :-) Yes, I did tone the flowers down. I forgot to mention that in the video. I just used some distress ink on them. :-) Awwww....tell Holly hello from Baylee. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Those came out really pretty. Thanks for sharing your process. I will have to try some of this. :) And glad to hear Bailey is doing okay. And still talking to Thomas Crown.
Hi Laurie! I am a big fan of "Junk Your Stuff". I love the way you create as you are talking out loud. Can you hear me answering you back? Lol. You give me a reason to use all the pretty stuff I've been saving for some reason. Keep up the creative vibes! Hugs.
Hey Ruth. :-) I keep hearing someone talking in my ear but it's kinda muffled. Must be you trying to answer me. lol I'm so glad you enjoy the videos and feel inspired to use your things. That's awesome! I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)
Hi Laurie, I love the way you transform the collected tags & accessories into gorgeous creations. You are a girl after my own heart. I also love to do collage & mix media from combines made of designer craft elements & everyday packaging that usually gets thrown out in the trash. I see great potential in so many things most people don't even notice.. that's seeing with the heart of an artist. ~ I have a fur baby too, his name is Henry. We live in NYC. 😆😘🤗So glad we found your channel ! I love your style ! 👈🏼💖💃🏻
Hi Barbara :-) Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I really appreciate your kind comment and taking time to watch. Please say hello to Henry for me and Baylee :-) Thanks again for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. :-)
I watched this video again and realized one thing I forgot to do for impact is outline the tags in black, as you did. Thank you for your encouragement. Your tags are so pretty and mine are getting close!
Love them all. I love everything you make, you make it so easy and simple to make. I would love to have some of your creative brain juices. 😂😂😂. Thank you for always sharing. I would love a tag! 😬😊
Thanks so much. :-) lol I would happily give you some brain juices if I could but I think you don't give yourself enough credit that you have plenty inside of your head too. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Thank you for subscribing Amy. I appreciate it. Sari ribbons are strips of waste fabric tied together and sold in lengths of yards that usually the manufacturer did not use to make Sari's which are garments that look like really big scarves worn around the head, shoulders and waist. If you look up "Sari" you can get a very detailed description of what they actually are...better than mine. lol And yes, you can paint the tags without gesso. Thanks for watching. :-)
=) *grins* sure, I'll have a Jelly Bean.... Coconut or Orange, or if you have one.... (they didn't look like that type of flavour though). OH WOW!!!!! The Art Journal Page in progress is GORGEOUS!!! =) I'm happy to hear that Baylee is doing well. =) I hope when she gets her blood work done, she'll get good results. =) *LOL!!!* Stare Drying is an awesome technique... but it seems like you need patience to work with it... *giggles* ;) Your tags are looking great.... =) Cool Scalloped edge piece. =) *LOL!!!* Green Jelly Beans are Thomas Crown's favourite.... hmmmm.... Hi Sweet Baylee. =) Hi Dear Laurie. =) The face in your left over paint journal is adorable. I'd be sad to see her go. WOW!!! those are BEAUTIFUL stickers!!! =) (the swirly doodad one, and the black flowers... one clear stuff).... Yeah, I think it's the right decision not to stain the flowers. =) YAY! for using up more stuff. =) Those are beautiful tags. =)
Hey Pheebs :-) Yep...have coconut and orange...well...HAD coconut and orange. lol Happy to share them with you. Thank you. I'm glad you like the journal page. I still haven't gone back to work on it. You know why. lol lol Stare drying....it was a "what are you doing?" moment for me. Yep..he's like me and likes the Pear flavor best and it happens to be green and it's not my fault. lol Maybe I'll try to save the face. I did it a long time ago and of course I don't do faces so well so I didn't care for her. Thanks so much. I'm glad you like them. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
*LOL!* ah, thank you, coconut and orange are my favourites. =) *LOL!* about the pear flavoured one.... I don't know if I've ever tried one of those, but it sounds yummy. =9 You're welcome. I hope you will save the face... she can be part of a record of your creative journey. =)
Thank you Teresa :-) Sometimes I use shipping tags I buy at the office supply store. and sometimes I make my own tags using old packaging or card stock or whatever I have around I feel like making a tag from. You can use a die to cut them or just cut free hand. If you have any tags around you can use them as templates and draw up a bunch to cut out. There are even tag shaped stamps you can use to stamp a tag and cut it out. I would just make my own though if I were you to get started. Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Thanks so much. :-) Sending a black jelly bean your way. lol My mom loved the black ones. I didn't like them until I was older but I'll share with you. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Can you post the ingredients to your morning citrus drink. I heard you say it in one of your videos but I was binge watching and now I cant find it. Need a new smoothie recipe and I all I remember is grapefruit!
Sure. I use 2 Red Grapefruit, 2 Navel Oranges, 2 Bananas, 8 - 12 Strawberries, about 6 - 8 ounces of water and cayenne pepper. You will have to modify it to suit your tastes but that is how I make mine. It's great. Hope you like it. :-)
Thank you Renae :-) I'm so glad you enjoy them. It's amazing what you can do with things we have had a long time and it's so fun to use up stuff. The mat I use is a non stick mat by Ranger. You can find it in most craft stores or online at places like Amazon. Here is a link to what it looks like. rangerink.com/?product=non-stick-craft-sheet%E2%84%A2 Shop around for the best price or use a coupon. :-) Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Thanks Kathy. As to what to do with them...sometimes I give them away in giveaways or happy mail. Sometimes I put them on birthday gifts or Christmas presents. I like to keep them in a vintage sewing draw in my art room just to look at. I put them in junk journals. They are good for trading with other art friends because they are small, easy and fast to make. They can be bookmarks if they aren’t too bulky. Tags are also a way to create small and play with techniques and learn what you like and don’t like. Whatever you can think of you can do. :-)
Thanks, I don’t have giveaways and don’t know anything about happy mail, interesting concept, but will try the other. Like the idea of experimenting with techniques, though, and can do the rest. Thanks
You are very welcome. :-) Happy Mail is mail you can exchange with someone but mostly it is mail you send to someone for no reason at all with no expectations of anything in return just because you want to do something nice for someone. Have a great weekend and have fun making some tags. :-)
I don't remember about the specific tags in this video but I do cut them various ways. A lot of times I freehand cut them or use shipping tags from the office supply store. :-) Thanks for watching. :-)
Hey Laurie! your videos are amazing and so inspirational! I love that you make such an effort to upcycle things that i would not have even looked twice at such as the packaging! so THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU! catering to the budget friendly slightly craft disabled mind of myself...thankyou again all the way from New Zealand. just a query, i keep hearing the term "happy mail?" could I please inquire as to what Happy Mail is ?
Thank you Yelena :-) I'm so glad you enjoy them. :-) Happy Mail is mail you can exchange with someone but mostly it is mail you send to someone for no reason at all with no expectations of anything in return just because you want to do something nice for someone.
Hi Nena. I do have a die for making tags but all of the tags in the Junk Your Stuff series I am doing were cut out manually by me. Thank you for watching.
Sure Nena :-) Well, honestly, my favorite way to make tags is to manually cut them myself. They are fast, easy and not perfect. lol I can make any shape I want and if it's wonky....oh well. :-) But, if I use a die I usually use Tim Holtz "Tag & Bookplates" die. He has several out now with tags I think but that is the one have and use. I do have another die with smaller tags but I'm not sure what the name is. It's by Sizzix though. I can't name a favorite die, I just use what I have or make them myself. Oh....another way and this could be considered a favorite way is to buy shipping tags from the office supply store. You can get a lot in a package and it's not that expensive. Hope this helps. :-) I hope you made it down to your craft room. :-)
Thank you Jennie :-) It's been a long time since I got the stickers but I'm going to say probably Hobby Lobby or Michaels. It's possible they came from Archivers before they went out of business but most likely just a craft store. :-)
I use a punch or die cut sometimes and other times I use store bought shipping tags. And sometimes I will just free hand cut tag shapes especially when I am using product packaging that was going to be thrown away. Thank you for watching.
I use a non stick craft mat by Ranger. I'll give you a link to look at so you can see what it looks like. But you may be able to find a better price if you search for it on line or use a coupon in a store. www.scrapbook.com/store/gb-rnsc77.html?cmp=GSHOP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk_nV5_HS1gIVxESGCh11PAcLEAQYAiABEgLSDvD_BwE&kw=gb-rnsc77&
Hi Laurie! Do you have any orange jelly beans? Lol! My 8 year old granddaughter and I had fun watching you make your tags. Your videos are so fun! -wendy
Hey Wendy (thank you for reminding me of your name) Yes, I have orange and happy to share them with you. :-) Awww, tell her hello from me. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the video together. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Love these tags I love the color combo especially adding the black. But I don't understand you used up your junk supply to make the tag then you covered it up with large sheet of scrapbook paper just to paint over it all. Seems a shame and a lot of steps wasting your junk supply and scrapbook paper. Would have been easier just to use a tag or not you scrapbook paper?
Thank you. It’s all about perspective. What seems a waste to you is a tool or stepping stone to me. I think that scrapbook paper is more waste sitting unused. Each step I take, even if that step gets covered is what lead me to the next step. The “waste” potentially inspired the end result. I rarely consider any step in my creative process waste. It’s how I create. Everyone is different. I use things in ways that may seem wasteful to someone else as a way to use up things I have had for years, to inspire me and to possibly create something that may not have existed if I had not taken each step I take. Yes, it may have been easier but it would not have been as much fun and the end result would not be the same.
Again, these came out great!, now I know what to do with the trim I got in a happy mail that although thankful for, just isn't my thing ya know....so onto tags it will go!!! I love how the colors you picked turned out in the end. Great job! Boy, that Baylee and Thomas Crowne..I bet they are up to all kinds of mischief when you're asleep LOL!!
Sari ribbons are strips of waste fabric tied together and sold in lengths of yards usually that the manufacturer did not use to make Sari's which are garments that look like really big scarves worn around the head, shoulders and waste. If you look up "Sari" you can get a very detailed description of what they actually are...better than mine. lol
I al.ist wish you would have NOT covered the ones with the vintage Momma and daughter pictures on them. My daughter is trying to are starting to make her phone separate but together junk journals and those would have been perfect little tags for our front page pocket but what's done is done now huh love the idea of my life I drive my family crazy but keeping all the little cardboard pieces from Packaging
Awww, I didn't even think to leave that side exposed. You are righty, they would have been really cute. Oh well....:-) Thank you, I'm glad you like the idea. :-) lol It's hard not to keep packaging once you learn what you can do with it isn't it? Thanks for stopping by. Have fun creating. :-)
Hi Patty. There are several reasons. I have given away a lot over the years whether it be donate, giveaways, happy mail or just sharing. Paper pads have a lot of paper in them and there may be a sheet or two I don't care for. Rather than not use something I spent money on I prefer to use it and make something I do like that I can then use in my journals or give away or whatever I like. And, it's a way to help others that may not can afford to give away things they spent money on to see how it can still be used and made into something pretty. Also, when I cover things with paper there are times I will allow some of the paper to show through which is a cool look. And, because this is a "Junk Your Stuff" series I am finding ways to use up things I have had a while and I like the challenge of it. And lastly, I just wanted to and had fun doing it. Hope that helps you understand better. Thank you for watching.
My Billy had arthritis the last couple of years of his life. We used to take him to acupuncture and it helped a lot. At the beginning once a month was enough, but the last few months his sessions got closer and closer together. He passed away at 17 years. Love the tags.

Thank you Pia :-)
Loved part 1. Was so EXCITED for 2. Can't wait to start.
Thanks so much Paula. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.
Beautiful. I don't know if they still make those clear stickers but they look great. I'm gonna try and get some.😃
Thank you Phyllis :-) I don't know if they still have them or not either but try Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I love your videos! I to have too much stuff , but now I'm inspired to use it up! I'd love a red jelly bean . Hope I can be in your next give a way!
Thanks Frances :-) Mentally sending you red jelly beans. I can't tell the difference between the cherry and the cinnamon though so you won't know which one it is until you bite into it. lol Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
When you first started dabbing on paint I was like, what?, but the finished project is beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Flo. I have a lot of "what???" moments so this won't be the first if you keep watching. lol I'm glad you like how they came out. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Hi Laurie, Love the tags. The colors go so well together. I have such a good time watching your videos. Thanks for Sharing...Hugs and Blessings...Dar
Thanks so much Dar.
Love how these colors turned out.
Han quedado genial. Me encantan!!!! Gracias
Gracias. Gracias por ver y comentar. Lo aprecio. :-) (Thank you. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.)
A really inspiring video. Thank you.
Thank you Gill :-) I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)
very creative...nice!
Thank you Sandra :-) Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.
Thanks Rita :-) Yep...Baylee is pretty smart...she has me wrapped. lol Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
l love them, they came out beautiful.
Thanks so much Sol :-)
Stare drying- yes that was very funny, LOL!
lol I was sitting there looking at them and I thought...why am I just sitting here...turn the camera back on and get on with it.lol
You do beautiful things
Thank you Kathy :-)
Well for them being junk. . They are awesome . . You did a great job again. . You have a great day too. . God Bless 😇 😇 😇
Thanks Charlene :-) Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. :-)
Those came out really pretty. Thanks for sharing your process. I will have to try some of this. :)
And glad to hear Bailey is doing okay. And still talking to Thomas Crown.
Thank you Ella :-) I hope you do try some. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
great video. lovely packaging tags.
Thanks Mayra :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Thank you laurie, love these tags, so pretty.
Thanks Naomi :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
So pretty! Thanks!
Thank you Marilynn :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
These tags are so pretty!
Thanks so much Donna :-)
I'm so glad you are liking your tags better. :-) Thanks for letting me know. :-)
Great work!
Thank you and thanks for watching. :-)
Good thing you chose to add yellow ribbon. That pop yellow paint just what needed.
Thanks Sharon. :-) Thank you for watching, :-)
Love them ...awesome 👍
Thanks Christa :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I love these tags they are so pretty tfs Laurie
Thanks so much Maggie :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I love them all. What kind of gesso do you use?
Thank you. :-) I like any gesso but right now I'm using Liquitex :-)
Hello LR!
LOVE THE JUNK YOUR STUFF PART 2. I WAS CRAFTING WHILE ALSO WSTCHIMG YOUR CHANNEL.
LOVE IT!
Hi Linnette :-) Thank you! I'm glad I could keep you company. :-) Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. :-)
Love it, inspired me!
Thanks Pam. I'm so glad you were inspired. :-) Thank you for watching. :-)
Love these, too!! Great color combo! 😊😊😊
Thanks Cathy. :-) Thanks for watching and leaving a note. :-)
Those turned out so pretty. I love the black and white on that beautiful background ❤️
Thanks Nina :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
just found your channel and subscribed. but what is sorry ribbon? and can you paint the tags without jesso?
I'm happy to hear that Baylee is doing well. =) I hope when she gets her blood work done, she'll get good results. =)
*LOL!!!* Stare Drying is an awesome technique... but it seems like you need patience to work with it... *giggles* ;)
Your tags are looking great.... =)
Cool Scalloped edge piece. =)
*LOL!!!* Green Jelly Beans are Thomas Crown's favourite.... hmmmm.... Hi Sweet Baylee. =) Hi Dear Laurie. =)
The face in your left over paint journal is adorable. I'd be sad to see her go.
WOW!!! those are BEAUTIFUL stickers!!! =) (the swirly doodad one, and the black flowers... one clear stuff)....
Yeah, I think it's the right decision not to stain the flowers. =)
YAY! for using up more stuff. =)
Those are beautiful tags. =)
Hey Pheebs :-) Yep...have coconut and orange...well...HAD coconut and orange. lol Happy to share them with you.
Thank you. I'm glad you like the journal page. I still haven't gone back to work on it. You know why. lol
lol Stare drying....it was a "what are you doing?" moment for me.
Yep..he's like me and likes the Pear flavor best and it happens to be green and it's not my fault. lol
Maybe I'll try to save the face.
You're welcome. I hope you will save the face... she can be part of a record of your creative journey. =)
Add "try pear jelly beans" to our list. lol That's a good point about saving the face. Maybe I'll do that. :-)
*Grins*, ok, added. ;)
;) It's your journal though, you do what you want... I just would hate to see her go.
Lovely. Wow! Where do you get all those tags?
Thank you Teresa :-) Sometimes I use shipping tags I buy at the office supply store. and sometimes I make my own tags using old packaging or card stock or whatever I have around I feel like making a tag from. You can use a die to cut them or just cut free hand. If you have any tags around you can use them as templates and draw up a bunch to cut out. There are even tag shaped stamps you can use to stamp a tag and cut it out. I would just make my own though if I were you to get started. Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Love ur videos and love ur tags, Laurie! TFS! :)
Hi Sandy. Thanks so much. :-) I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)
Gorgeous tags!
Thank you very much. I appreciate you taking time to comment and thanks for watching. :-)
These are amazing! I love all of your "junk your stuff" creations.
And, yes, I would love a jelly bean. Do you have any licorice ones?😉
Love watching your videos, gives me hope for my stuff that I am over as well. What mat do you use that everything just wipes off of it?
Thank you Renae :-) I'm so glad you enjoy them. It's amazing what you can do with things we have had a long time and it's so fun to use up stuff. The mat I use is a non stick mat by Ranger. You can find it in most craft stores or online at places like Amazon. Here is a link to what it looks like. rangerink.com/?product=non-stick-craft-sheet%E2%84%A2 Shop around for the best price or use a coupon. :-) Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Love the tags to use stuff up, but then what do ji do with them so I don’t have a box of them sitting around?
So did Thomas Crown get the green jelly bean? Love the videos.
Nope...I ate it. lol Thanks so much. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
All the tags are pretty. Did you die cut or freehand cut them? Whichever they are perfect.
I don't remember about the specific tags in this video but I do cut them various ways. A lot of times I freehand cut them or use shipping tags from the office supply store. :-) Thanks for watching. :-)
beautiful & fun as always
xo
Thanks Jamie :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Did you get to eat the green jelly bean, or did it disappear with the great colors used on the tags? Love these "Junk Your Stuff" videos.
lol I ate it!!! lol Thanks so much Linda :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Hey Laurie! your videos are amazing and so inspirational!
Do you have a die set that you use for cutting your tags or do you just cut them all out manually?
Hi Nena. I do have a die for making tags but all of the tags in the Junk Your Stuff series I am doing were cut out manually by me. Thank you for watching.
Thanks for your reply! What is your favorite die for cutting tags? Your videos are inspiring me to go down to the craft room and "use stuff up" :-)
Sure Nena :-) Well, honestly, my favorite way to make tags is to manually cut them myself. :-)
Love your tags!!! Curious, where do you get your word stickers?
Thank you Jennie :-) It's been a long time since I got the stickers but I'm going to say probably Hobby Lobby or Michaels. It's possible they came from Archivers before they went out of business but most likely just a craft store. :-)
LOVE YUOR TAGS!!! :-)))
Thank you Victor. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Do you use a tag punch or template?
I use a punch or die cut sometimes and other times I use store bought shipping tags. And sometimes I will just free hand cut tag shapes especially when I am using product packaging that was going to be thrown away. Thank you for watching.
What kind of mat do you use to work on
I use a non stick craft mat by Ranger.
Are you using acrylic paint? I'm new to painting.
Hi Michelle. Yes, I am using acrylic paint. In this video and in most videos I am using cheap acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. :-)
Ok great. Love your work. Great inspiration! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michelle :-) You are very welcome.
Pretty
Thanks Janet :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
I will take a jelly bean. Especially if it's a black one. Yummy!!
mm the licorice ones are indeed great!
Yep...and now I want some more. lol
Mentally sending you black jelly beans. lol
And...black jelly beans..blech!! I'll take the green one if Baylee doesn't.
OH, I meant to ask... What is sorry/sari????ribbon?
Sari ribbons are strips of waste fabric tied together and sold in lengths of yards usually that the manufacturer did not use to make Sari's which are garments that look like really big scarves worn around the head, shoulders and waste. If you look up "Sari" you can get a very detailed description of what they actually are...better than mine. lol
Thank you!
Todas linda.parabéns .
Thank you very much :-)
sending love
Hey Secret :-) Sending some back. :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Ms. Laurie if there is ever any stuff you don't use and want to give it away, pls feel free to send my way. You have such pretty junk stuff.
Thanks Lue :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Ty
Welcome :-)
Love
Thanks Cali :-) Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. :-)
Why not give away paper you dont like. Why cover back of tah, only to pain it. Just paint the tag.
