Flying with Saudia Airlines for Umrah I Jeddah to London Heathrow I الخطوط السعودية

We took the return journey with Saudia AIrlines from Jeddah International King AbdulAziz Airport South Terminal. This was a direct flight to London Heathrow.
Saudia are very strict with their luggage allowance, in economy class the allowance is 23kg for checked in luggage and 7kg hand luggage. This does not include zamzam water and you get zamzam water allowance for free.
Saudia is considered as the premium of all flights for hajj and umrah as they noticeably have larger leg room, a larger bathroom and the most convenient aspect is that they have a prayer room in the plane! Saudia is THE airline to fly with for Muslims, as we did not encounter them to serve alcohol neither and the journey was very comfortable.
We were given an excellent choice for lunch in additional to tea and snacks through the journey. You also get a complimentary gift bag which consists of dental kit, an eye mask etc. All passengers do get 2hrs of complimentary WIFI to use on some social media sites and is limited to 200mb and additional data has to be purchased.
The total journey time to London Heathrow is roughly 6hrs and 25 minutes.
All of this does come at a price though, as Saudia are the most expensive out of all of the airlines traveling to Jeddah and Madinah. Our second chooice would be Turkish Airlines, of wich we will be releasing of our experience of their airline soon inshaAllah.
Check out our review with Lufthansa ( • Review of Lufthansa fo... ) with a stop over at Frankfurt and was about £300 cheaper per person for the round journey in comparison to Saudia Airlines.
