I've been enjoying my '83 300D Turbo (with nearly 400K mi.) out here in Northern California for the past 14 years and it shows no signs of stopping. I've owned six of these and love working on them. Most of the other W123's I've owned I brought back from the brink of destruction at a junk yard. Lets all do what we can to save these great awesome cars!
Am originally from Jerusalem, and we never looked at the W123 mercedes in all trims as a luxury vehicle , and I don't think Mercedes Benz did , it's just a car that's built to highest quality possible to serve you for life
*The car looks great. Very classy. I'd like to own one. That's kind of what brought me to this video. Thanks for providing your ideals and opinion on the Mercedes TD* DexterousX
Very beautiful, and honest cars. One of the best cars ever made. I'm proud owner of 7 of these, all original. Love them. Thanks for sharing your view's. You are right about these legendary W123.s
I do also think you’re right in the car needing tuning and losing power. I would have it looked into, it could be something as simple as a vacuum line.
Great breakdown of this model. I’m thinking of buying a 1979 24OD. They seem engineered to last forever if taken care of. Btw, where is this lovely area you are driving through. The trees are incredible.

From Jerusalem also and have ridden in many taxis from the 80’s and 90’s 115’s, 123’s and 124’s absolutely love these cars.
Different marketing campaign for the states. We only got "luxury" versions that included pretty much every option so they were very expensive.
Just picked up an 84 Coupe - what a ton of fun!
That is my absolute dream w123. Tan exterior/red interior. Very jealous!

Fixing up my dad's 1978 230 that oddly has a W115 engine in a W123 chassis. Bulletproof car though.
Beautiful interior!
Thanks for posting. Nice video.

1983 Ascot Grey, 452,000+ miles. Clean, very clean!
Nailed it. Good video.
Thanks!

Trying to decide between the 1985 300D Sedan or the 1985 300TD? Decisions, decisions.....

This is a 300D Turbo. A 300TD is the station wagon. The T stands for touring.
I had one exactly like it you want to sell it
service aja sama bang rio..di jalan rambo..lu pada tau gak hei...yang tau komen sini ye 😂
