I’ve been using a black plastic kobalt pocket box cutter knife like this one that I got at lowes but it recently broke from a fall at a job site and I came across your video about this box cutter and I have to say right when I saw it I was like I have to buy one it’s better than the old plastic garbage thanks for showing us this product
This is similar in design to the Husky Utility Knife 108 011 from Home Depot. I lapped and worked the round part of the tang to loosen it up so I can open and close it with a one hand flip. WorkPro has a great knife enthusiast following for their other compact slim full stainless steel utility knife.
Thank you! I got the blade to eject! The extra “position “ is not for blade extension but so you can flip the blade around to swap ends for the sharp end when it goes dull. I think. Thanks again👍
Thank you so much sir! I’ve had this and just gone crazy trying to change the blade and yet I’d UA-cam you and you show me the exact way you are marvelous thank you so much! Have a good day and be safe man
Ya that drawing shows a dude just pushing down on the end of the blade with his thumb and that’s not how you actually do it. You have to squeeze both sides of the knurled round piece using your thumb and index finger then push down. That drawing is misleading.
@@JeepArmyUSA no. You push down on the tab with your thumb, pull blade out with other hand, literally exactly as pictured. Have one, have had it over a year and use it for work.
The blade release button my mine broke before it ever made it to my pocket. The whole unit was too bulky and all those edges caught on my hand and clothes. Also, the thing cannot be used one handed.
Thanks for posting this. I bought one that is being delivered today, but have been freaked out a bit about the ‘used’ reviews, and poor reviews about the quick change feature
@@JeepArmyUSA At a glance all you see is cheap, and it leads people to think you mean bad quality. Now days cheap and bad quality are inter changeable . Affordable is a better word for cheap. Our language is evolving indeed. Just ordered this though, hope I’m as satisfied as you were, thanks for the review !
Still going strong. I used it yesterday to cut up jute rolling on the mountain. I’ve been choking up towards the business end of the knife lately and that offers a lot of control and cutting power. I feel like its weight helps add cutting power.
Damn, you opened that box in a way that convinces me you need a box cutter.
🤯

Good idea on the one hand flip mod. Mines been great and I don’t treat it nicely.

Ya kinda tricky but it’s solid. I’ve gone through at least 50 blades now.
Thank You!
for a box cutter it's so fancy, super cool and looks nice
It’s still rockin and rollin. I really enjoy pulling it out lol
I just placed an order for this from Amazon, it better not be used.🤔
Lol. Even if it is, it’s a beast of a knife.
@@JeepArmyUSA 😆Cool!
about to order another one. misplaced it yesterday, miss it already! great product, harsh usage!
Mine still going strong!

Ya, it can be a bugger at first! Take care man
...there's a drawing right on the knife showing you how.

Apparently mine and Mike Ivy’s are different because doing it how your describing doesn’t work on ours.
I have a couple of these and they are excellent
The pocket clip got loose recently. I bent the metal clip a tiny bit and fastened it back on. It’s tight as ever now. Still lovin this knife

Considering how cheap branded knifes are, $15 is not cheap at all, it's on the expensive side
I think that you can get a Milwaukee for about 20

The pivot point for the blade end came loose yesterday. I tightened it down and now it’s good as new. Still going strong!
I paid 2 dollars for mind just different color
Your Title for this video is really misleading.
What should have I called it?

@@xXelitegpXx Lol, yes this is a good point. At first I did think it meant bad quality until I watched the vid.
its ur thumb print when u pulled it out
utility bknifes are always stiff when there new
The thumbprints may have been the QC person. ??
Ya I can see that for sure
Get milwaukee fastback 2 and ull thank me
I thought about it but wanted to stay away from plastic this time. I heard they’re great though.
