Anyone notice his guitar tuning here? I tune mine 3 frets below standard, have been for decades - and his is exactly the same, 3 frets below standard tuning. You can tell by the low E chord here - the second chord in the song. Just an interesting note. {I knew GG, but we definitely never compared notes on tuning.}
@juggalotrent Wow! This is amazing. I've heard plenty of GG accoustic stuff but he sounds totally different here (and REALLY good, by the way). I would have loved to hear his Criminal Quartet album done with these vocals alternately. He's had a number of distinct voices over the years. Some have mentioned GG having multiple personalities -- even his music sometimes reflects this.

Chris Henniker You're both wrong. This is just an older track than everything else on the album. Notice how the lyrics are clean and his voice his while still clearly gg is much clearer.
