Hi from Glasgow, Scotland! Chvrches is one of my favourite bands. They're from Glasgow so it is especially cool to see my hometown represented.
You were right, it is pronounced "Churches" but they put the "V" in there so that when people searched for them on Google, they'd find info on the band and not just churches.
Their must famous song is probably "The Mother We Share" if you are looking for more of their music. The lead singer (Lauren Mayberry) is also currently doing some solo stuff.
