First time with one of your recipes JP and it was fantastic. Took 4 hours to hit 192, wrapped for 30 minutes. I've had tenderloin that was not as moist, tender, and flavorfull as that boneless pork butt. After an hour added some yukon gold potatoes to the drip pan and they turned into some of the creamiest spuds ever! Now i want to try your rubs. Thanks again and I'm looking forward to viewing your other recipes. FIVE stars.
I should add it was a six pound boneless pork butt. Initial temp went to 425 degrees. Closed top and bottom drafts. Temp spent two hours at 400 before heading to 350.
I knew from the first shot of the pork on the spit what rub you were using ! I saw the texture and said Sexy Chicken ! I love my Weber Rotisserie also ! Great cook JP ! My mouth is watering!
Hey there AL, It was that good, blew my mind. I can't explain it, but it was tender like pulled pork and the skin was kinda crunchy. I definitely want to do it again. thanks for watching.
The price of Webers rotisserie kit is beyond ridiculous and reasonable!!! I’m a weber fan(I have 5)but the Onlyfire rotisserie is a top quality alternative for half the price!!! No i dont work for Onlyfire but their products are of high quality!!!
Winn Dixie has butts this week for .99 a pound going to do it on my Weber except I will use a roasting rack Put some apple sauce and roasted veggies. JP you have creative a master piece
Nice Roast J.P. How much did that roast weigh and what temperature was the average cook. You mentioned it was at 500 when you put the roast on, I'm sure the cooking temperature was lower, If you mentioned it I missed it. That really looked good.
thanks John, appreciate you watching and commenting. I wanna say it finally dialed in at about 400 and I took the internal temp to about 195 so it was nice and tender and still offered that crispiness on the skin. This is one of my favorites gadgets for the weber thats for sure. I think I may do chicken on it this weekend and I can't wait to do a prime rib on it. thanks again

@@JPBBQ Check out the Napolean kabob rotiseree attachment, It looks like it would work on the Weber rotiseree, I have to do more research,
Will do thanks
So what was the weight of the butt and how long did it roast for?
How long did it take to cook?
I don’t think i was keeping track of time. I would say maybe a couple of hours. I cooked it a little high till it hit about 190. Thanks again.
Did a 10lb butt today JP way , it was amazing, I think I like it better than pull pork everyone at the table agreed. Thanks again for the recipe
