Another great video!!! Another possible video to do along these lines is talking about doing a fluid flush as periodic maintenance. Because these fluids are hydro static and absorb water.
I imagine it could. I should have mentioned we had good luck using DOT 4, never tried 3 or 5 magura though. We ran it in bikes for a couple of years with no issue, although not sure if we just got lucky. But years ago I put dot 3 in a bike that called for dot 5 and it swelled the rubber parts in the master cylinder up and we needed to repair.
Thank you so much man! I'm working on a 23 FC350 for a friend. The bike threw a chain unfortunately. I thought the slave could be reused but we determined the piston is not moving in and out smoothly like it should so I ordered a new one. I hope that fixes it. If not, I guess the case will have to be replaced. It looks like Husky only sells them as a set so I don't know how I'll find a left side.
Sometme could you do a video on trouble shooting a "no Spark" condition. We had this issue this weekend on a 2000 KDX 200.Tried to chase down the problem with volt meter but not much luck figuring out if it was the CDI, coil, magneta kill switch or what ever.Long story short its still down. Thanks
Yes sir! As soon as a bike comes through with no spark I will use it as a walk through. I will say 95% of the time on a 2 stroke when the spark goes out its the stator. Of course always check the kill switch first by disconnecting the kill switch and then check for spark (also check for loose connections and broken wires throughout). But in most cases its the stator. I have seen CDI's go out but maybe only 3 in my life, compared to maybe 100 stators.
@@UpAllNight91 .The stator looked really bad like it had gotten water in it at one time. The fly wheel was rusty and some of the bolts and crank had somr rust on them. Thanks
@@tndeere Ok. I have seen stators that test well with a multimeter but just wont work. So even if the meter shows everything good with the stator doesnt mean it is lol

Thanks. Yes I do have it planned to cover a brake fluid flush and bleeding soon. Just waiting for a good opportunity to come though
Heard dot fluid deteriorates the rubber in magura systems

Right on. Sometimes I get lucky finding one case half on ebay used.
Russell speed bleeders are the BOMB!!!!!! Super fast and easy.
