The electric pump can actually infinitely get water from one source block! Also, if you’re playing a pack with Cooking For Blockheads, the kitchen sink is popular for infinite water that requires no energy :3 (Just have to set the mechanical pipes to extract from it)
Another potential infinite water alternative for anybody in 1.12 is the infinite water source from NuclearCraft (I think. It's been awhile since I played 1.12, but it's from one of the reactor mods). Not sure about other sources for newer versions other than the kitchen sink though
If you don't have a trash can, check if you have a "Small Waste Incinerator". Carrots and potatoes also give the same amount and is muuuch easier to farm. You can also skip some pipes and place them side by side, they auto-eject into each other.
there's also drawers with the void upgrade (it's very likely that you have the storage drawers mod installed but i guess the good ol' dropper and lava will work too)

The gas burning generator on ethylene is actually, due to ethylenes energy density, surprisingly clean in terms of energy to carbon/sulphur ratio. Oddly in file shows ethylene as 0 sulpher but the gas gen itself produces miniscule amounts. I find it producing little overall and i rarely have to replace the leaves. And only had 1 piece of sulpher form in the filter in over 10 hours of running it.
On default configuration, 1 fully upgraded prc can sustain like 11 gas burning generators with etylene, provided you have enough biomass production. that prc needs an electrolytic separator with 4-5 speed upgrades to give sustainable hydrogen. With infinite water and automated melon farm, and a basic crusher fully upgraded, you can get a net gain of ~65Krf/t :D
Ratios are likely different in enigmatica six, i should warn. The processing speeds of PRC’s even fully upgraded is now pretty slow, slow enough it cannot keep up with 1mb/tic.
i use a 9x9 carrot field. there a no seeds or other stuff like poisend potatos or something else.. 9x9 field can easy support up to 10 gas burning generators.. and if your modpack have cooking for blockheads, you could use a sink instead of a pump.. it doen't need energy and works ( in most of the modpack ) as infinite water source
If you have phytogenic insolator or a garden cloche or any auto farming setup, try farming potatoes. 1 baked potato gives you 10MJ of energy, for a price of 100KJ - 200KJ. (1 baked potato = 7 bio fuel = 350 ethylene) and try to give the machines speed upgrades and energy upgrades for better energy output.

It's not a ton (just under 40 FE/t with the generator being in the same space as a lava source block, plus 6 surrounding it), but it's not nothing. Especially for early-game, and not using any fuel. You can also boost this if you temporarily need more power by adding lava/coal/charcoal/wood/etc. as fuel

In 1.18/v10 ethelyne can make almost 80k/tick. They super charged it. Combine it with cactus/snad or melons in a cloche and you can make hundreds of thousands of RF with very little investment (1 crusher, 1 separator) will easily run 5 prcs and a single prc can run ~10 gas burning generators
I feel it was done that way just to demonstrate where the water needs to go, he is doing a tutorial afterall, hiding parts of a build wouldn't be that nice to the newcomers.

I made a generator like this with like, 40 gas burning generators and 4 PRC's, but all of mine Biofuel is being transported to only 2 of them. Is there a fix to it? update: nevermind, i fixed it by transporting biofuel using quantum dinguses.
Imagine my surprise after scaling down a BiggerReactors Reactor/Heat Exchanger/Turbine last night to fit into a 13x13 compact machine for 24k RF/t, that I could have done way less work, for way less materials, and pulled closer to 100k RF/T. Gonna try this out later with the suggestions here in the comments.
Still use this today, if you combine it with the mystical agriculture mod to create apples and you put it in this machine you've got your unlimited power 😁😁😁

For the upgraded version, you could add a heat generator to burn up excess logs.
Add a fuelwood heater to the heat generator, put the logs in that instead. It will burn far more efficiently too

Actually you don’t need some pipes, you can just configure the machines to output gaz or liquides on the sides

Once you out grow this setup for power you can use the ethylene to make hdpe, and you will need a bunch of hdpe for late game Mekanism.

I have the hook up correct but the bio fuel won’t go into gas burner generator only when I have a heat genrator next to it

If you touch lava to the heat generator it works that way too, specially if you surround all but the one power side in lava.
Mekanism pump does not require an infinite water source. It only requires a single block as it does not actually draw any water off.

if you need infinite biomass, I would recommend using a harvester from cyclic, in something like a carrot or potato farm.

To get the max energy u would need to use a ultimate or elite cable, or in pipez use at least the gold upgrades

This machine does not make infinite energy. You have to constantly fill it with something to make biofuel. Or am I missing something?
