Chrysler 200 2014: Old multifunction switch was activating dome light when signaling right. Swapped out multifunction switch, issue resolved. Subscriber Earned👍🏽
$400!?! That's like highway robbery! Glad you knocked it out yourself and that the video helped. If you haven't already, consider throwing the video a like/thumbs up and maybe a channel subscription. Thanks for watching, Curtis.
Short answer - no The 2011 - 2014 models of the 200 are different in a lot of ways from the 2015+ model years. From rockauto.com, the multi-function switch for the 2016 is very different from the 2014. It looks like the clock spring and both switch levers are on a single unit and you probably have to pull off the steering wheel to replace it. Definitely more involved than what I show in my video, unfortunately. Not to say that it's not doable, just different. The part for the 2016 also looks to be way more expensive, unfortunately. Thanks for watching, sorry about the answer.
thank you for help I going to try and see if this switch is the problem thank U again and one more thing STAY AWAY from Chrysler !!! just saying a lot of problems :(
I hope this solves the problem for you, good luck! Can’t disagree about Chrysler but go watch the videos on our Chevy; that was even worse. Thanks for watching.
Was you able to figure out the problem. I was losing my digital cluster readout when trying to use the multifunction switch. I think that's what causing it and done light glitch when trying to turn them on sometimes. Wish you could of tried turning the car to run with the switch disconnected to see if the digital readout stays dark/off I think that has something to do with it Before I could just shake the lever around kind of hard and my digital readout would come back on. Now that doesn't work for me anymore
Replacing the switch worked well and it’s very easy to do, but it didn’t solve my problem. In the end, it turned out that the previous owner cut the wire under the dash for that lighting! Who knows why but once I repaired it, things have worked great. So, I’m sorry, but I’m no help with your cluster readout problem. Good luck and thanks for watching.

You never know what those switches will do when they get messed up.... Glad the video helped! Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub.
Thanks for fixing my 2013 Chrysler 200. Did this myself and saved 400 bucks what the mechanic was trying to charge me. You're a money saver 👍

With a malfunction switch cause the car not to turn on like if the battery was drained
