@@AN7_ytthere actually is, on that last choice you had to hide and turn off your flashlight and not move and if you succeeded you get away, but since y'all shot the squirrel at the beginning of the game as Chris a crow attacked sam making her get a head injury so if y'all hid at that point she would have forgotten to turn off her flashlight and would have got caught anyways
Hey enjoying the playthrough. I want to point something out but it's a massive spoiler if you haven't completed the game so I was curious if you guys have finished the game?
@@AN7_yt HUGE SPOILERS you have been warned 1 At 32:38 I find it funny how many people call Emily stupid here but had they gone back to check Emily and Matt could have prevented about half the game from happening. 2 It was actually impossible to escape Josh as sam in your playthrough. Normally at the end of the "phsycho" chase you get the choice to run or hide if you run you get caught if you hide you escape However, due to shooting the squirrel as Chris in chapter 1 sam gets a cut on her head which worsens when she falls (hence the flashback) so when sam hides her wound leaves a blood trail to her hiding spot and she is caught. Its honestly really funny how shooting a squirrel gives such a massive consequence.

Also, quick explanation (don't quote me on it tho, this might be misinformation from my bad memory). *[POTENTIAL SPOILERS]* The sanotorium that Mike was exploring here at 27:15 is, I'M PRETTY SURE, the same sanotorium in the prequel to this game I mentioned before (The Inpatient). At least, I'm pretty sure it is. Obviously abandoned now, I don't rememer the reason as to why, but the patients were left on their own with nobody to free them (hence the tally marks and distressed carvings on the wall) and resorted, most likely, to cannibalism to avoid stsrvation. When you went through the morgue area and checked though the post mortem notes, a person had part of their kidney and other internal organs eaten by the atracker. Suggests ppl were eating others before the place was entirely abandoned. Edit: refreshed my memory, but yh. The workers in the mines were basically fucked over by the guy that sent them to work there. Crazy cover up, he locked them up in the Sanotorium, tested on them by feeding them human flesh (forcing the cannibalism before the place was abandoned) and then killed himself. I think you can find his body sat in a chair in a locked room when u explore as Mike. I haven't finished watching the vid so u either see it later on, or missed it completely. Like i said the first time, it's some freak ass shit
