The Revival Drive promises to deliver amp like tones in a pedal and in the video I find out if the hype is real. It's close to perfect and it is going on my board because that blend knob is absolutely necessary for getting clean but dirty pushed amp tones.

I actually own this pedal, and I love it so much that I watch videos about it when I’m not playing it. I just like to hear how others use it. Indeed the Blend knob is the secret sauce. The “EQ” knobs don’t do exactly what you’d think, and there’s really no bad setting, only personal preference. My preferred settings are Highs at 12 o’clock, Lows at 3, Presence at 10, and both Drive and Blend at 3. If you know the band Hot Snakes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Put a Tubescreamer in front of it (drive down, level up) and it’s goddamn perfect

There are so many people out there saying that it’s too expensive for an overdrive.
These are the people who didn’t understand that this pedal is NOT an overdrive. It’s an amp in a tiny format. And good analog amps don’t come for 99 $, especially with this versatility and build quality. In reality it’s a bargain

Thanks for checking the pedal out!

The RevivalDRIVE pedals fall into our Amp-Recreation catagory, we call them that because they well... recreate the entirety of an amp. AIAB done to an extreme that typical AIAB pedals don't. It can be used infront of an amp, or as an amp replacement in a direct rig.

Hey Origin! I love love love the Revival Drive. I noticed that there wasn’t any warranty information when I got it. Is there a way I can register the pedal with you guys incase I need to get it fixed one day. I’m assuming it’s built to last, it feels so robust, and I’ve had Boss pedals for 15+ years with no issues. Just wondering.

I love how "different" this pedal is. It's not a run-of-the-mill AIAB. One can tell that a LOT of thought went into designing this! You definitely got some gorgeous tones in the video, Andy!

Well done demo. I appreciate your perspective. This pedal has been out for a while but you made me watch the whole video and gave me a great insight on this pedal. Price is probably why I didn’t look into it more. I’m pretty dedicated to my KingTone drives.

It is easy to see and hear that this pedal inspires you. Next time I have 400 bucks wearing a hole in my pocket I think I might just drop it on this. Should be sometime in the next decade or so( maybe the price may be a bit more reachable!).

This pedal seems to have a very natural sound to it overall, plus it's quite versatile, a lot more than say, a standard Blues Driver (which I do own and love). However at $500
retail or so, it's no cheap thrill. Someone commented that it wasn't that good for a basic hard distortion sound, but better as a boost etc. and crunch pedal. But it seems
like a pedal you can rely on for live or recording, it would be a good investment for that.

In my experience the pedal and the amp fight a bit if you have the blend any more than 40-50% of the dry signal in...also it cuts the level quite a bit...its best at 3 o'clock to 100% wet imo...

How do you think it takes pedals? Obviously sounds very amp like and is extremely convincing but does it sound good with a boost or another od in front of it?

There's no denying that it sounds good and it's quite versatile, but at 500 squid or so it's about 300 too much. Had it been sensibly priced I might even have indulged in one, but I can live without it lol - times are hard and 500 earth pounds is a very lot for a drive pedal.

Personally, I'd never, ever, pay 400 for any single pedal. Not a snowballs chance in hell. Especially with how amazing plug-ins have gotten recently, and are usually around 100 or less.
