The Sip n’ Dip Lounge at the 1962 O’Haire Inn was really fun! 🧜♀️ 🌊 🐚 🐠 Really cool vlog. Thank you Jacob!
The mermaid bar was really cool
That Moose is living it's best life, beautiful. Thanks that was fun.
Aww, the moose was so cute having a splashy little bath! 🫎
Seeing that wild moose was wonderful thanks for stopping today!
That motel should be a landmark, what a beautifully preserved time capsule of a place.
It’s great fun! I’m so glad it’s still around, internet coverage has definitely helped it! It’s not my fave place to stay overnight but it’s fine, and the lounge is great fun.
Somebody at Discovery Channel should create a new show with you as the host.
The ‘Eum Rule.
You’re so right about the fascinating finds in small town museums.
Thank you Jacob for stopping off in my home town of Great Falls and we welcome you to the Montana state fair on your next trip back to Great falls !
Hey! From another great falls person! ❤
@@chuckcarlson4366 hello 👋 from Washington!

32:38 How wonderful to see a MOOSE 🦌 Bathing in a Pond! That’s fantastic! They are lovely creatures.
Two people in two booths the Priest opens the sliding door on one side hears a confession then opens the sliding window actually on the other side . You can not hear each other. It is indeed a beautiful iconic Mission Church!!!
These videos are a really refreshing. Seeing the country and all it's quirks makes me want to hit the road. So much history and beauty and coolness.
@@Sklabah I agree…

The only way your dinner at Sip'N'Dip bar could have been any better would have been a meet and greet with the mermaids.
Have been really loving these videos and seeing the moose in the water he was just living his best life haha, thanks Jacob 😊
Could this day have more magical treasures? Awesome Jacob!
I was just in Great Falls for the weekend! I live about 200 miles away!!
So many neat things in this video!!! Loved the moose bathing 😂 so adorable! The Sip and Dip Lounge is so cool!! The mermaid was awesome. ^_^ Thanks for another great video, Jacob! Be safe out there! :)
Awesome the EUM rule. Very cool. Thank you Carpet Bagger.
Oh MY god, Jacob... I'm from Great Falls. That fishbowl has four straws for a reason!! Hahahaha. You crack me up. Glad you enjoyed it here!
That moose footage was absolutely stunning, by the way. Great shot!!!
I was thinking that also, it was meant for 4 people 😆 Good it wasn’t alcoholic 😂
Me too!! The bartenders always hook you up here. The only thing to do is drink 😂😢
I am also from the electric city. I am stoked that I know this Mermaid too!
Love the moose sighting!
I’d like to know how Jacob knew to stop 🛑 and spot that beautiful Moose!?
Jacob, you are so close to reaching 500k subscribers. Only 1 year ago, when I subscribed, you were 25k away from this milestone. You have earned when it happens hopefully sometimes this week.
🎉❤😮😊I'm getting so excited
I was also thinking about how close Jacob is to 500K subscribers to The Carpet 💼 Bagger channel! Yay!
I'm fairly certain that moose eat the algae and moss that grows in the water. You could see it hanging from his head, and he was munching on it. That's why he went underwater. What a cool thing to see.
Congratulations on your Pressed Penny from the Center of the Universe! A true collectable!!!
That was cool 😎 Wallace, Idaho **Center of the Universe 💫 ** Nice.
Jenny's going to love seeing the moose 🫎 😸💖
The Liberty Bell silver dollar was minted especially for the Bicentennial. Also, most of the more recent silver dollars (with the exception of some special issues) aren't actually silver and are worth far less than $100 each.
If I remember correctly all the coins made with pure silver were mint 1964 and before.
@@silverghostcat1924 The Mint periodically issues pure silver dollars. I have several recent ones.
@@umrmech84 but those are special issues, yes? But, wasn't all silver coins 1964 and before all silver, silver coins?
I loved the video but it made me very homesick for Montana😮💨 Great video as always Jake.
You are in some of the prettiest part of the country. Love Idaho!
Carbagger yu always have amazing video I really enjoy watching you amazing amazing video keep up what you do
Great video! This is my hometown! I got married in that church and the pawn shop you went to in Wallace is my brother's shop!
😮oh my goodness , that's so cool 😎
Excellent video, Jacob. You're the best UA-camr going. Till the next one, take care, my friend, and as always, safe travels.
Thank you Jacob for another great fun video.
The anthropomorphic chef hat is so apathetic. He looks like if you put him on you'd get ratatouille'd but he'd only make items from the Dennys menu circa 1993 with about 70% accuracy.
?
@user-jj2kj3nd7g it's in the beginning of the video. Jimmy's restaurant mascot.
This is an apt description! I see a lot of microwave use happening under this hat's supervision.
Hey, Carpetbagger! Cool to see you're in my old hometown. If you're headed south down to Helena, make a stop at the Great Falls Airport to see the Poletto Collection. It's one of the largest plastic model collections in the world, and it's free. I remember going up there a lot when I was a kid.
There used to be an electric keyboardist at the sip and dip who was my favorite. RIP Piano Pat.
🏆 America's Best Vlogger
Jacob this was a fascinating adventure. You make the mighty Northwest so fun. Thanks for your hard work and sacrifices . I'm finally joining your postcard adventures today
Love that drink and those straws 💖😸
Montana is fantastic state . I lived there for two years
Wow, the mountains of Idaho and western Montana are sure beautiful! Loved the driving footage.
Being a mermaid seems like a TOUGH job. You must have to really love it to want to do that for a living. Of course, I HATE having my face underwater, and even snorkeling would be a personal nightmare for me, so the idea of becoming a mermaid sounds more awful to me than it probably does to other people, lol.
Welcome to great Falls! If you're ever in the area again I highly recommend going to Havre, an hour and a half away. There's 'Havre Under the Streets', it's an underground museum that features a whorehouse, opium den, bank, butcher, etc. It's cool as hell.
Good Afternoon " YA ALL " Jacob the carpetbagger...!!
Omg I cook for sip n dip lounge! Thanks for showing the kitchen and the girls some love ❤️
Love this trip Jacob!
Another bag full of goodness. Idaho has or had the largest inland navy so it kinda makes sense to find a mermaid there. The random highway moose was fun, amazing you seen it while driving. Thank you so much for letting us tag along, and please don't burn yourself out and stay safe my friend
Awesome to see you in our neck of the woods. I hope you enjoyed your time! :)
I live in Great Falls Montana, I tattoo right down the street from the Sip'N'Dip...wish I would have seen you!
"Inspired"
Artist: Jason Sanchez
Location: Woody McEvers Skate Park
The monument entitled "Inspired" stands 36 foot 9 inches in height. The two main columns of water represent Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River. The heart represents the people of Coeur d'Alene. Cut into the heart on opposing sides are excerpts from the Idaho State Constitution and the United States Bill of Rights. The Heart lights from the inside from dusk until dawn.
Thanks for this! I knew "coeur" was French for "heart," and I was pretty sure there was a body of water involved with the name of Coeur D'Alene, but I'm too lazy to research the statue myself, lol.
@@AwkwardAnxiousJennifer you're welcome 😁
Say it's Kay, I'm going to correct your post, not because you did anything wrong, but because whoever wrote the description on Coeur d'Alenes website is incorrect.
The 1st 10 amendments to the Constitution are called the Bill of Rights. The rest are just amendments, and as Jacob stated it was the 14th amendment, which he erroneously said article, it's definitely not part of the original 10 Bill of Rights.
You should definitely take that trip that would be a fantastic road trip to watch
I've lived in GF, MT my whole life. Loved seeing you enjoy the Sip N Dip! (Please don't judge us by our fair!) Cheers!
Good Afternoon Jacob 🙋🏽. Enjoy your day ‼️👊🏽👍🏽💯.
Had To Say, Watching This Video Was No "MINER" Feat! (Pun Intended! 😉) Happy Trails To You Carpetbagger! 🛣⛽️🚲🚙🚂 #LifeIsAHighway #Carpetbagger
You're finally in my neck of the woods! There's another really cool tour up in Havre, MT called "Havre beneath the streets" about 2 hours north of Great Falls I think you'd enjoy!
I’ve heard that tour is great! I must admit, it’s been a decade or so since my last trip up there. I’m a historian in Billings, but I’ve been delving into some great stories from the central hi-line. One of my friend’s sons just got married & they have decided to stay up there even when they graduate in ‘25, maybe I should tag along when she visits. I think Havre has the only underground tour in Montana?
Also, I must admit, it’s so awesome when creators remember the Montana plains exist and visit us!
@montananerd8244 It is definitely worth the adventure! It's been fixed up and all sorts of cool artifacts are in the rooms and everything. The entire hi-line is worth the adventure with the dinosaur trail and museums!
Excellent upload! It was cool seeing the Sip N Dip bar from the city I live in and the moose feeding off the bottom of the pond!
A great video, Jacob! 👍👍👍👍👍 I wish you safe travels, Jacob! I'm fatally allergic to seafood/shellfish, shrimp, lobster, etc. I have the highest allergic reaction to that food. I mention that because you ate shrimp at the sip and dip lounge.
What a mish mosh of wonderful stuff 👏 ✌️❤️🙂
That's a great description 👌 😊🎉❤
I just went to Preston, ID this summer to see the Napoleon Dynamite film sites 😆 I haven’t been this far up in Idaho, it looks beautiful, definitely on my bucket list. Also never been to Montana, will have to visit there also. I am excited for the new stuff in your Etsy shop!
I've been thinking about the Etsy shop lately, what do you think 🤔 he's putting in?
@@mollysmith1226 Tshirts, Bobbleheads, 2024 Commemorative Pressed Penny 🤔🤷🏻♀️
@@nataliecrow6533 I would LOVE a penny
Been to Wallace once. Very neat town. Also the filming location of Dantes Peak.
A two sided confession box was an Italian design.. You are right In the thinking of time saving once one person had confessed the priest would simply close one door and open the other side to see If there was another person waiting.. XXX
Love this video carpetbagger and when it comes to roller-coasters you are one brave man keep up with the video Jacob.
Yes lead is made from galena.
Awesome museum
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 the Carpetbagger, fun video as always. Thanks for sharing this.✌️ I like that church so pretty 👍⛪
Great Videos. you do a great job of presentation. Remember the Cow Barns at the state fairs. I am sure the ones your going to will have some great Herefords. Love to see the best in cows.
I’m impressed that you’re exploring the northern part of the country.
It's very interesting to find mermaids at lounges. The only other I know is Weeki Wachee Mermaid Show in Spring Hill, FL. Hope you have a great time Jacob! 👍🏻👍🏻
That’s so sweet of you to donate! What a lonely place! Neat bar! And your Pennie’s can have elevated value too! Best check them before smashing😂
There's a full taxi Polar Bear in Rock Falls, IL
I had that exact same canteen at 16:49 from when I was in the Cub Scouts a thousand years ago. Took it camping many, many times. Good memories. I do think ink that, by the time this year is over , you'll have a thousand dollars worth of pressed pennies.😂 Also, a Random Swimming Moose, which I do believe would be an excellent name for a band.
Moosebath sounds like psychadelic doom metal of some sorth. Band of heavily bearded men in flannel shirts for sure. 🤘
@@RikFTK Sorry, I didn't see your comment until just now. UA-cam is weird. I was actually thinking a speed metal band that exclusively does Barry Mannilow covers, but you have a good idea too.
Well, there’s gonna be a few people coming by the sip n dip now. We’ve only been having quite a few in the last couple months around the city.
Until today, I knew only one thing about Idaho. That it was a place where a lot of potatoes came from.
That's where idahoes and idahomies are from too.
@@unclesham5507 who's da hoe? Idaho! 🤣
Best chanel.on UA-cam
Love the Sip n Dip!!!!! Always a must do in Great Falls
That glass cup on the shelf with the UV reactive toys is made with uranium glass. They are (slightly) radioactive due to the uranium used to make the green color. Used to be popular in the early 1900's. I have a small collection of those cups and bottles and its always cool to see more show up! Thanks for your amazing videos Carpetbagger!
Come back at some point and ask around about all the saltwater aquariums popping up around Great Falls.
Yes, another great video! Loved seeing a non-taxidermied moose bathing in a pond! And a live mermaid!
Im glad you came to great falls mt i hope you enjoyed the sip n dip their fishbowl is good
The pond and the moose felt like a Wonderhussy video😂😂 WonderMoosey😅😅
My grandfather was a Miner and lived in a small town in Mount Carmel Pennsylvania near Elysburg Pennsylvania. He died of black lung cancer!
So glad you stop to see the moose and the mermaid in the bar was fun!
Love seeing all the places you go. Hope Jenn is doing good she would have loved seeing that moose 🫎 in the water so cool seeing the old stardust motel. My hometown of Barstow California has a stardust. Your final destination for the day was awesome love the mermaids.
the Bowl she gets her Tips in is the old fish Bowl drink. just for size
Just going everywhere I just visited! I was at the Mission Cataldo, Kellogg, and Wallace on Saturday (doing tourist things with a buddy who was in from out of town). Fun fact: Dante's Peak (with Pierce Brosnan) was filmed in Wallace.
I was so surprised to see you were coming to Idaho, another fair you can come check out is the Western Idaho Fair, it is coming up this next month
One reason for the heart in the sculpture could be because Coeur d' Alene traslates to "Heart of The Awl".
I love these kind of trips! Fun old fashion museums and odd road side attractions. I thought Idaho was all about potatoes! I bet those silver dollars are worth a lot! Best video with a real moose❤
Great video Jacob! I used to live in Great Falls and I have been to that Sip N Dip bar many times! Sadly there was a legend of a lady known as Piano Pat she sang for that bar for years! She passed away a few years ago, I was lucky to have seen her a few times. They do have a new piano player now, but I didn’t hear music in this video so maybe you were there on a night they don’t play. Anyway great adventure, and Wallace Idaho is a great little town! It’s where they filmed “Dante’s Peak” years ago
Welcome to Montana brother!
Today we going mermaid searching!
Thank you ,Jacob ,for that rare glimpse into"moose life"!👀
I know you like Paul Bunyan. If you're ever back through North Idaho, the city of St. Maries (just South of Coeur d'Alene) has a Big Friend that they repurposed into a Paul Bunyan school mascot on display. They also host a Paul Bunyan Days event every Labor Day weekend.
Cruising with The Poice playing in the background ❤
The movie Dante’s Peak was filmed in Wallace
The bar is from the movie Analyze This with the mermaids
Am I the only one who just know that lead is come from galena 😂 always learn new thing from this channel ❤. "black light reactive crocs and socks" 28:08 I'm dead laughing 🤣
don't forget to subscribe who are not subscribing yet 😆
Agreed the moose taking a dip was the highlight to me.
Aw jeez, one penny!
Lol. Frank Gorshin, "Where the Boys Are"
Wow 🤩 everything in this video was so cool 🥔⛏️⛰️🫎🌟 After watching this; I think I need to visit Idaho and Montana someday 🤞💖😸 As always, Thank You for bringing Us along with You Jacob 🙏💝😻♾️
The bathing moose was awesome!💜
WOW, I can't believe you drank the whole drink ! Hope you saved the Fish Straw, Jenny might get a kick out of it. Enjoyed seeing the all those mining tools. The men in my family from my Grandfathers & Uncles where miners from before alot of those tools were made. Shows how old I am !
In the confessed the priest would hear one confession at a time . They are no longer in use . We now confession to the priest in person
What is your next adventure ? That was really cool of you visiting that mining town 😉
