Thanks for putting these together Phillip. You are so humble when it comes to reviewing your performance. I get the impression that you are able to operate at the subconscious level . I can't imagine the number of hours and repetitions you have put in to get to this point.

Unique series I’ve never seen a long distance tournament. Love y’all’s coverage and commentary and it’s amazing to me how fast you find the targets get distance and windage Very impressive. Enjoying the series

Great video guys! Just watching this and notice the bino/Terrapin X combo. Are you also using laser rangefinder binos?

Phil, I run into these elevations every once in a while during match and it takes a while to figure out; which kills me points wise. Do you have tips on how to stop these elevation issues during a match?

As you guys are running kahles I have a beginner question.
I bought the k525 DLR for my .308 precision build.
The scope mount is a 6 mil tilt from spuhr.
I've zeroed the scope at 100m which gives me almost two full turns (196 clicks) on the turret for elevation.
If my calculations are correct that will give me 1281m of total range which is absolutely fine for a 308.
Zero stop is activated and gives me 2 clicks below zero.
However, kahles advertise the turret at 3 turns with the indicator pin having three positions (flush, red and white). I only see the white indicator the last 3 clicks (193+ clicks).
Why is that so or is it normal?

    • @Levidanielz

It is normal. I have two.

I'd love to see some load data for 5.56 NATO. The long ogive should be great in a 1/7, right?

Are you wondering about ballistic data such as bullet drop? Do you have a particular bullet in mind?

    • @novicereloader

@@toddb930 no. Oddly, after watching this video, I watched one about Hornady's new products. I don't know why this comment landed here. Thanks, though.

21:02 “it’s not me.” Listen to Jocko’s podcast on extreme ownership please.
If you keep thinking you’re not responsible for each bullet you put in the air, you will keep missing.

    • @andyjonathan2486
      @andyjonathan2486 9 місяців тому

@@AlecLCochran if Ryan is complaining the temperature sensitivity of the powder wasn’t his fault, he can build a sensitivity table of temperature vs velocity. I’ve experienced this myself with RL 16 going 3030 FPS in 92 deg F heat and 2940 in 39 deg F temps. With my 6CM, 30 FPS delta is worth 0.1 mils at 1000 yards.
If he’s complaining about reloading errors, those are all human errors as well. The fact he does not want to take responsibility for his misses are beyond me.

@@andyjonathan2486 -- I would think you would have your weapon system totally understood before going to a match like this one.
