Ha! While you were putting the marshmallows on the pretzels I was thinking, "Those Pretzel Crisp thingies would probably work well here." Also, using scissors to snip those big marshmallows into quarters is handy if you don't have mini marshmallows (you can dust the blades with cornstarch if they start to get sticky).
@@keeping.it.all.simple That would work, too. I have found that it's easier and more efficient to cut them with kitchen scissors. Same goes for nori sheets, some herbs, scallions, and some candy products, but each for their own reasons.☺
I added you and Jessica to my subscription list and I'm coming over from Carla's new Rooster channel. Can't wait to find new recipes from y'all. Thank you for posting their links.
The charcuterie board to go is a genius idea! Thank you! We travel 6-7 days a week for hockey with my 2 boys so this would be an awesome idea for the rides to or from!
I do love watching the Bunky’s over at Jessica O’Donoghue’s channel.😍 So I’ll have to check out Carla McKenzie’s channel! Always love your content, Mindy!❤
Indoor s'mores, using Graham crackers and then nutella and then marshmallows BUT then put it under the broiler to toast the marshmallows and still get the crispy edges but you dont have to wait for the chocolate to melt... plus its nutella! Yum!
Those were some good recipes! I especially liked the charcuterie board idea! I said ' Oh no!' when you were putting that whole marshmallow on the pretzel. Why isn't she cutting it in half! Oh my! We all make mistakes and its nice to know I'm not the only one who makes them. As for the marshmallow size you may not want to ask me how I knew they were too big!!😄
I always come away from your channel with at least one new valuable piece of information and today it was the utensil tray as a travel/serving platter. What an excellent idea! I am thinking I could also use it as a divider in my refrigerator for cheese sticks, Gogurts, fruit cups, etc. Thanks for motivating me!!
I made something close to those tortellini skewers, I put basil Pesto on the tortellini and did not use salami (cause I didn't think about it). They were so good.
A little spin on s’mores that I like is a simple mix of teddy grahams, chocolate chunks (found with baking supplies), and mini marshmallows. I had to play with quantities to get the proportions right. No heating or refrigeration necessary…just a serving utensil and maybe some little paper cups. Also a fun gift in a jar.
Thank you. School just started on the 6th. Between that, birthdays, dentist/dr appointments and soccer starts Monday....I need ideas for myself, husband and the kids
I really liked the idea of the kabab's! My family would love those. Instead of tomatoes my crew would like pepperoncini's! Yummy! Thank you for sharing these ideas, nice to switch things up every so often! 🏈🍽
I make a similar skewer! I cook the pasta then marinate in Italian dressing. Adding something green (usually a basil leaf) is tasty, too, though admittedly not quite as budget-friendly. Bonus, it does look pretty. ☺️ The string cheese is a great shortcut!
I found your channel because of a colab u did with Jessica…. I am now a new subscriber to your channel!!! I think I will enjoy your content and will enjoy getting to know you! 😊
Great ideas! Maybe try cutting the marshmallows in half? My favorite party snack is artichoke dip. Looking forward to the OU/NU game tomorrow! GO BIG RED! 🏈🏟️
@@SeeMindyMom what? No Boomer Sooner trash talk?😉😂. I am afraid NU fans will be 😭 but maybe the new coach will bring out the best in the team. 🤞. Have a great weekend!
I watch Carla and Jessica's also. I love s'mores. I was thinking we could just cut the regular size marshmallows in half. Their messy anyway. I seen some where there is an indoor s'more kit. Which I will be looking for. All your ideas look good.
Could you maybe use the press & seal wrap to transport a snack tray too? I just used it to cover a muffin tin with individual cupcake liners filled with goldfish crackers to soccer practice. I sealed it in straight lines between the muffin tin parts and around the edge. Worked great and none of the individual servings spilled! #momwin
I wonder if cutting the bug marshmallows in half, that way the cut side will kinda sick to the retzel in the oven too, think using 2-3 minis would just roll all over.
@@SeeMindyMom you're right but Pizza cutters are pretty amazing with cutting stuff like that. that is from experience. Because you can use just the right amount of pressure while rolling forward versus a knife where there's not much rolling LOL
Mindy - that charcuterie board idea is GENIUS! Thanks for sharing
That charcuterie board would be a great gift idea for other mom friends! Or for when someone has had a baby, moving house, etc.

This is exactly what I was thinking while she was placing them on there too. haha

I’d still use the big marshmallow but cut it in half with kitchen shears. 🤗
The charcuterie board to go is a genius idea! Thank you! We travel 6-7 days a week for hockey with my 2 boys so this would be an awesome idea for the rides to or from!
Oh so true! Good idea!
You look great today. Hair...makeup...nails. just lovely.
Genius hack for snacks on the go!! Great ideas.
Love the travel charcuterie idea!!
A balsamic glaze drizzle on the Italian skewers would be a delish option. 😋
Awesome recipes, thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🏈🏈🏈
That transportable charcuterie tray is genius. Thanks for the idea!!
The to go charcuterie board idea is so great!!!
The little Salami skewers are adorable and such a great idea!! Loved doing this collab with you!!
The divided tray is genius! Love that tip- thank you!

Wow, the charcuterie board looks good! As for the smores, hey it's real life. Like you said, smores are supposed to be messy. They look good too.
I love all of these ideas and always love how you share budget friendly options! Thank you, Mindy!

That was a really good tip to not only use all ur leftovers but to use a tray to put it on!!! Super good idea!
Love the charcuterie "board"! The toothpick skewer idea is really good too! Thank you!
New from Carla's channel. Looking forward to browsing your channel for recipe ideas!
Thanks for coming over!
Great ideas-thanks for sharing with us!
I love Carla and Jessica channels. They are great as well as your channel
Over from Jessica and Bunkeys channel.
Excellent ideas and looks soooooo good.

Thanks for stopping by!
The first one would be good with an Italian dressing poured over.

Thanks so much for your ideas! I have frequented your channel and saved so much on our grocery bill because of it!
I'm so glad!
Great ideas.
Great ideas Mindy!
I like to drizzle a little Italian dressing over my Italian skewers. Love the Charcuterie tray, great idea!
Yes! I actually meant to do that and forgot! 😂
The cracker sandwiches look delicious 😋
This is one of my favorite videos!!! So excited for football season ❤
I've done this with pretzel, roll, then push pecan half on top once the roll is soft. Easy peasy homemade turtles! 😋
I’m here from Jessica, but I have been watching you for a bit.
Thanks for giving me an idea to do with left over odds and ends that always go bad. My daughter will be eating on the weekend snack tray this weekend!

Love it! That charcuterie tip blew my mind! 😂❤
Take scissors and cut each marshmallow into 3 "coins". I make these using Nilla Wafers and the coin marshmallows work perfectly.
The charcuterie hack… genius.

Yep! I meant to dress them in Italian dressing and completely forgot!
I watch all 3 of you all the time❤️❤️❤️
We love the ham and Swiss sandwiches so I'm definitely going to try the cracker version..I also charge a chocolate tax! 😂
I have used veggie trays for veggies/dip, cheese/meat, and variety of crackers. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
So good
I'm visiting from Jessica's channel. My husband's name is Daniel too! We've been married 21 years.
I’ve made the pretzels with a piece of chocolate or a rolo and then just push a m&m or nut into it to stick it together. 😋
Love the tray idea!
Fun, thanks. For your Italian skewers, I think the Margherita hard salami would be even better than the GV, and it’s even cheaper per pound.
Love the last idea for the snack tray. Great food as usual.
Thanks, Cindy!
You can cut the marshmallows in half for the smores.
Oooh my 5yo would really like those Italian skewers!
Good one my dear!
I've seen people use a tackle box for a charcuterie!! Lots of boating people do this!!
Someone else here mentioned that! Genius!

Hello from Jessica's Channel
Great ideas 😊❤️
I see that Aldi strainer coming in handy!
Yep!
Yum!
Would it work to cut the marshmallows, that you used, in half?
Came over from Jessica channel
Hi there! Thanks for coming over!
I think maybe you could cut each marshmallow in half and use half of one per s'mores.
#momwin
Girl. All i have to say is your chocolate tax is LOW!! I would have charged way more. At least half a bar.
Haha! Good point! I’ll keep that in mind for next time.
I mean, I did have 6 bars to use so it added up.
I wonder if cutting the bug marshmallows in half, that way the cut side will kinda sick to the retzel in the oven too, think using 2-3 minis would just roll all over.
👍🏼
I personally don't see nothing wron with a big marshmallow.
*wrong
❤
💜💜💜
You made me giggle at the chocolate tax paid to you. I'm going to have to remember that. 😅
has nothing to do with the cooking but is that gel polish on your nails or acrylic? absolutely love watching you!
Dip nails. 😊
Or just cut the regular marshmallows in half horizontally since they're the perfect size for the pretzels
My highlight of this video: "Well it's 11 after the chocolate tax was paid to MEEeeee"
Maybe you could cut the marshmallows in half if you only have the regular marshmallows.
Wouldn’t a Italian dressing be nice on the cheese tortellini.
Or cut the big on in 1/2 that is what we did
What if you cut the marshmallows in half?🤔
Or cut the large marshmallows in half.
Cut the marshmallow in the half!
Maybe cut the marshmallow in half.
Maybe cut each marshmallow in half first?
And set up the mini marshmallows you could also just cut the big marshmallows into pieces may not save you time but it's just a suggestion
Yep! I will say, I know from experience that marshmallows aren't as easy to slice as one might thing...so sticky!
@@SeeMindyMom you're right but Pizza cutters are pretty amazing with cutting stuff like that. that is from experience. Because you can use just the right amount of pressure while rolling forward versus a knife where there's not much rolling LOL
