I feel like it’s important to recognize that most people can relate to both songs. Angry and grateful.
I am in Christ and Christ is in me. We are one together.
We are all Gods children just like Jesus and God is our Father. Our walk is like Christ Jesus. If you want to change the world you need to change yourself.

First thank u to DAX for writing this and thank u for reacting. You spoke a lot in your reaction About showing kindness and showing you also reference to the line About looking inside to find God. I personally think that DAX was saying to love ourselves fist,because if we look inside to gind God and God is love, then we need to love ourselves before we can love others

I think the only problem I have with the song is his promises that Dax himself will keep. The whole point of scripture is that we cannot keep our promises, but God can and will. Other than that, I enjoyed this song.

Just discovered your channel. Have you ever considered going through Twenty One Pilots journey? They are NF’s favorite band, and similar with deep, raw lyrics and Christian artists cleverly inserting truth in deep lyrics. The last 3 albums have a story…background lore that tells a story about dealing anxiety / pain / good vs evil that feels like Narnia. Would be cool to go through their stuff from old to new!

Just my opinion, but I think he was trying to portray that different races can sit at Jesus' table.
Also, I interpreted the "I am him, He is I" as I am IN Him, and He is IN me.
Could he also mean at the end is God is in us (the holy spirit) and thats a problem im having with churches in my area they don’t love and if you come up and ask questions respectfully they react pretty outlandishly my friend had this happen to him and he is afraid to ask questions to pastors and preachers now so he just asks me the questions which im trying my best to represent God and what he would want to teach
