I am testicular cancer survivor. Lost one of my boys in that process. For TRT, I found that I didn't like to go above 300. 250-300 was my sweet spot. I started getting jittery above that. But I'm in my late 60's.
I had the same about 6 years ago. I was put on testosterone gel but my levels went through the roof and felt equally shit. Took a couple of months of experimenting to stabilise my ideal dose.
52 year old male here who has thankfully been on TRT for two years - and considering how I started to feel like dog shit at age 40 - was at least 10 years too late. The symptoms I started to experience a decade or two ago (and suffered tremendously from) included sleeplessness, attendant daytime fatigue, anxiety, and severe depression. Physical manifestation was increased body fat around the waistline and for someone who had always been a lean, mean, gym-going, fighting machine came as a shock to me. It was a gradual process. One day I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and the "skinny fat" reflection shook me to my core. In hindsight, I had become stuck in a nasty, negative feedback loop. The shittier I felt, the less motivated I became, making it tougher for me to attend to basic self care (proper diet & exercise.) The multiple doctors I consulted with at the time said that while my levels (400ish) might be considered "low," that it didn't meet the criteria for TRT. I was finally referred to a urologist who said he treated the patient, not the number. As the video states, 2 out of 3 of my labs registered in the low to mid 300s (the 3rd was 400) which was enough to get me started on a trial dose of testosterone cypionate. 200 mg every two weeks via intramuscular injection. It took 6 months for me to feel better. Upon retesting and a total testosterone of 1000, my urologist said I was too high and scaled my dosage down until my levels dropped to the (600-700) range. The positive effects I had begun to experience at 1000 (better sleep, reduced daytime fatigue, less anxiety & depression) were diminished. The abdominal fat, which had been melting off, also started to accumulate again, albeit reduced than before TRT, and this is with hitting the gym consistently again. I should add that I had concurrently been seeing a therapist to address my depression & anxiety, and he was the person who urged me to also explore TRT (he had been receiving it himself.) Due to high turnover at the urology practice (two new doctors in the space of 18 months) I subsequently found a specialty clinic and formed a relationship with a doctor who is now my primary care physician. She retested me and did a deep dive on my blood panels, deeper than anyone had done before. Her recommendation was to get my levels up to a minimum of (1000) and to inject myself twice weekly vs once every two weeks. She also gave me further guidance on diet & exercise (namely less sugar, red meat, processed foods, and more strength training - all of which I've adhered to.) Total testosterone now peaks at (1300) and with the increased frequency of IM injections, never falls below (1000.) I donate blood to keep my hematocrit levels in the acceptable range. While it hasn't been a cure-all, I've never felt better and am experiencing muscle gains. I will also mention that I suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) in my late teens. There's a subset of research among veterans with PTSD (I have PTSD but am not a veteran myself) that demonstrates the efficacy of testosterone. By the time I was 40, my depression & anxiety had become so bad that I was having suicidal ideation. To come full circle, I feel like I should've started TRT ten years ago, if not sooner. All these white coats ever wanted to do was prescribe anti-depressants which had horrible side effects and didn't work. I refused to continue to take them as soon as I figured this much out. Here's the ugly truth... most medical providers can't and/or won't think outside the box. Add to that the influence of big pharma and the insurance companies, and the end result is a lot of needless suffering, chemical dependency, and self-harm. The irony is that Blue Cross will pay for the bullshit drugs, but won't cover TRT. What it costs me in dollars - which is nominal - pales in comparison to the benefit this essential hormone provides. Blue Cross can fuck right off. With regard to lab values, my advice is the same as the first urologist I saw gave me, "Don't treat the number treat the patient." Inform yourself, advocate for yourself, and find an MD who doesn't suck.
So how many ML do u take now x 2 a week? I also have been given Test Cyp Ore Depo Test... was told to do 300ml every 3 weeks, but I'm thinking to go 1.5Ml every 2 weeks... My Test is below 300 and age 40 now
@@chrislemans1997 I inject a hair less than .5ml every fourth day. The issue with less frequent dosing is that you'll experience a higher initial spike and then by the time you're ready for the next shot, will be too low again (yo-yo effect.) I do agree with the premise that one should administer the least amount that yields the necessary benefit. I worked my way up to this point and found I didn't get the maximum benefit until I increased to my current amount, and with my doctor's guidance and regular follow ups (every 3-6 months,) The labs are the most expensive part, but it is what it is. Good luck.
TRT has been a total life changer for me and my PTSD. Went from a handful of different meds to one in a month. I feel great with a good solid clear mind
I've been on it for 2 years now and hasn't done much for me. I'm jealous of all the people having all these great life-changing effects. The first 6 months I definitely had more energy and motivation at work, but that's it
I have stage IV prostate cancer. The cancer feeds on testosterone so my treatment is androgen deprivation therapy (hormone therapy) which removes the testosterone from my body. And although the side affects are brutal at times, the alternative is far worse. I started out with a PSA of 47. It has been at .02 for the last 3 years. I find this video to be highly informative. Thank you for taking the time to put it together.
I was 42 and was feeling horrible gaining weight at a crazy rate had no energy really thought i had something serious wrong finally went to the doctor and my testosterone was 78 got on trt finally got my number elevated and leveled out feel a lot better lost 30 pounds strength has came back i recommend getting yours checked if youre having symptoms
I had cancer twice when I was 29 & 30 and it messed me up bad. No one helped me until I decide to go on TEST by myself. I started to feel amazing. I feel the best when my TEST is at 800-900. I feel so normal like I did before I got cancer. It saved me.
My husband began testosterone replacement because his level was very low, below 300. We’re both 64, healthy, and have an active lifestyle. We both receive continuous HRT (estrogen and testosterone for me) by pellets inserted under the skin every four months. His libido is what it was several years ago, more energy, improved mood and outlook, and increased muscle growth and definition.

@@jamie-r2034 Most people say about 6 weeks iirc. Within 3 you will notice differences, but by 6 you usually feel pretty good. Just make sure your doctor is familiar with the blood tests you need! PCPs don't always do this so make sure you get tested every 3-ish months for the first year while you are getting dialed in, and make sure estradiol and hematocrit are being checked. I know some guys have serious hemo issues and donate blood quarterly to keep it in check, but mine has been solid. Everyone is different.
@@jamie-r2034just wondering if you can provide an update on this. My husband got tested on a whim and it came back at 85. We are doing a second test because lab errors happen. He’s only 31. We workout but just recently started a few months ago.
@lovexoangel hi!!! So i got on trt & took my first dose the following day. I was prescribed a gel to apply each morning to my arm. It was great. But slowly i went back to feeling like crap. We tested again and my level went from 88 to 180. It was better but still very low. We doubled my dose & have been pretty good! I have way more energy, not depressed, barely any anxiety, and want sex like 24/7. Haha. My doc tested other things and found some issues with a few things and now have to get an MRI done on my pituitary glad to see if a tumor is on there (if there is, it's very treatable). It's called Hypogonadism (you can look that up to learn more). Overall though, I feel amazing. I'll eventually switch to injections but for now the gel works pretty good!
I'm 32 and I was diagnosed with low test when I was 28 and my test was 50ng on every test, after I started receiving testosterone, my energy, strength, stamina, among other things ;) sky rocketed. I'm starting to work out, boy I feel like I'm 10 years younger. I love it

Balding at the age of 20, mood swings, rapid fatigue. my sleep is disturbed to the point where I can't get enough sleep+work with night shifts. @@kg-Whatthehelliseventhat find a new set of doctors if they do not know how to test for testosterone. Don’t walk….. run!!! Get away from that set of doctors!!
@@kg-Whatthehelliseventhat "team of doctors" That makes no sense. Are you asking to general medicine doctors or endocrinologist. Go ask you team of doctors if they failed endocrinology in med school and then go find an endocrinologist.
People like you are the funniest. Normal for what, normal for when, normal for who? You could have 1000ng on the number and still have low T symptoms. Treat symptoms not numbers nor what is "normal". I'm sure 1000ng was normal when you were 18, why aren't you aiming for that now?
I had many of the symptoms of low testosterone, complete with body hair loss, low energy, etc. Nope, thyroid hormone levels were way off and one side effect of methimazole is body hair loss. Endocrinologists, worth their weight in gold.
The "normal" Testosterone range is a huge one. You can be around 350-1200, and the difference is huge... Basically, if you are not close to the 1200 range, you have things to improve...
Low testerone meant that there could be delays in body changes that happen during puberty. We hope to see more educational content on this channel. God bless you. Keep up the good work.
Can affirm. I had low t for a very long time, especially during puberty (which started when I was about 19 years old). I looked 13 while I celebrated my 18th birthday. No doctor ever helped me and tests were all fine because I was barely on the low end - if this still is "normal" testosterone range - looking 13 on 18th birthday and not having any body hair till the age of 24 definetly was not.
My ex had a problem with low testosterone in his late 20s and didn't want to take the shots at first because he considered that taking drugs but once he started taking them because the Dr insisted he should at least see if it helped him it made a world of difference for him. He was finally able to grow body and facial hair. He wasn't as depressed and was able to get bigger and stronger and had more energy. Tbh, he went from from looking like a 16 yr old boy to looking like a man. I personally didn't care about that but was glad he was finally happy with himself. He didn't get huge or anything but he was so small beforehand that just putting on 20lbs made a big difference and you wouldn't recognize him if you didn't see him for a few months. It was that big of a difference. No matter what he ate before he couldn't put on weight and I made him 3 huge meals a day. I was actually kinda jealous by that because I have the opposite issue. I don't know what his levels were at before or after even though we went to the same Dr and usually together. I wasnt paying that much attention because I honestly didn't think it would make that much of a difference. I was shocked by the change but more importantly was glad he was finally happy and comfortable to be in his own skin.
I was having labido issues. Aged in 50s. Found out I was deficient in copper, zinc and vit D. Used supplements. No issues at all anymore. I take nearly everyday.

Some supplements as well.
@@Russellviews 1. The morning sun is known to raise your T levels, sunlight in general that gets absorbed by the skin with different vitamins, but especially the morning one. 2. Exercising also helps raising the T levels. Especially going to the gym and doing a strength training (heavier weights) 3. Avoid tap water because it could contain estrogen coming from the anti-birth pills and plastic bottled water because it contains BPA coming from the plastic and also has a estrogenic role thus reducing your T. 4. The rest is just common sense that good food, vitamins and the limiting of blue lights helps with your T levels

I’m 20 but my levels are low 400s high 300s, not low enough for my doctor to care but low enough for a number of the symptoms described here. Gotta love the Australian system for HRT/TRT
That sounded like my doctor. My number was low 400s high 300s in my twenties as well. However I didn't have any bad symptom (depressed, low libido, etc). I could grow muscles, have facial hair, etc. So maybe my doc was correct. Later I learned that the free Testosterone (in a single digit) is more important. Total Testosterone (in 3 or 4 digits) doesn't mean much. Maybe check your free T and circle back to your doc? Even if your doc is ok with TRT, would you be willing to sacrifice your balls at the age of 20? Once they shrink, they're gone forever. Think carefully.
@@patrickp8315 that is a very overlooked fact for people who get enthusiastic about doing trt or gear and a well kept secret for some reason. Good to see you getting the word out there so guys can make an informed decision. I literally went for decades thinking that "sultana nuts' on the gear just grow back after you stop at the end of each cycle. I never knew you could burn out natural testosterone production permanently. It wasn't until I bumped into a friend who used to take dianabol (and presumably hadn't gone to trt) that I guessed based on the fact that he was still interested in fitness and the way he looked. I later worked with someone who had been on tren who was on trt at the ripe old age of 23. I wish more men knew about this stuff.
@Blingy McDaddy thanks, I’ll give it a try. Currently taking fadogia agrestis, gingko biloba, tongkat ali, and coq10 which seems to be doing well for energy levels subjectively, I still have to get bloodwork to see if its placebo. What dosage range would you recommend for the raw ginger?

Don’t know if its placebo but I’ve been taking it for a couple weeks or so and it feels like somethings happening down there 😂
Nobody talks about the fact that we are eating chemicals everyday. Each year testosterone levels on average drop 1% each year. They say it’s too difficult to pinpoint the reason. Idk. Maybes it the pesticides and preservatives and all the other chemicals that our governments are requiring food manufactures to use to “keep us safe and healthy” absolute bs.
Why would we talk about the fact that we are eating chemicals everyday? Everything is made of chemicals, videos like this illustrate that our bodies operate by chemistry. You mean added chemicals, toxic chemicals, and such, because e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is made of chemicals. They're everywhere, good and bad. Do you drive? Because, unless you live out in the middle of nowhere with no motor vehicles, exhaust fumes. Your water... oof. But yeah, let's not blame the high rates of obesity and inactivity; poor diet, regardless of "chemicals", with low protein, low fat, and a high carbohydrates; poor sleep patterns with excessive social media use; and young men engaging lifelong in highly sedentary hobbies such as gaming instead of physically demanding competitive sports.

Hi,, Quick question, Does it help with sore joints. I'm 44 but I've had joint issues since my early '30s. I'm not careful and do too much repetitive movements with my hands they get locked up. My fingers individually sometimes weeks months. I'm getting better at not inflaming them and am putting on muscle in my hands with arm wrestling training, but I'm still achy. And now it's my knees and my ankles etc. Will testosterone replacement therapy help with that you think? I didn't grow up going to the hospitals or doctors or anything so if I did this it would be way out of my norm.

Trt gave me my life back. At 37, 45 now, I went from highly energetic to sudden lethargy. Took over the counter stuff for a year. Nothing worked. Finally went and got full labs done. Test was at 210. Started with 200ml cyp weekly. Gained water and felt a little better. Tried enanthate and same thing. Switched to 250ml weekly proprionate and that was the ticket. No water and everything got better. Sleep, no more back pain, libido came back, energy, strength, etc. I get full labs done every 6-9 months and my doctor works with me in monitoring my protocol based on lab results. Blood work is stellar and test is around 800-900. FOR ME this is what works. Several other friends have success with different doses and compounds.
I think that pinning more frequently will cut off any estrogen side effects , no matter which esther is cyp, sustanon , or propionate . I pin 3 times a week , 3x50mg , and I feel awesome.

I’ve been on TRT for over a year and a half, started at 34 years old after having many of the symptoms for several years, didn’t realize that might be the issue or I would’ve been checked sooner, then got 3 tests spread out over the course of a year to ensure that was the issue, was around the 230’s and getting on TRT fixed all of my symptoms thankfully. Def need to make sure to get proper testing though, too many people just want a quick fix… also, the target range thing is def wrong, they used to even have 1,300 as the high norm, average guy was around 600, best to work with the doc to see how you respond and increase only as needed until the symptoms are corrected imho, I know of people who are best off at close to the 1,300, once again tho, with a doctor and constant follow up.

Thanks so much for this video and the clear explanation. I have Kleinfelters syndrome and have struggled with getting Testosterone correct all my life. I stopped therapy about 6 years ago as I was celibate though married thinking that low T only impacted high PSA levels and sex drive. Over the next 5 years, I'd have depressions and lack of drive episodes that could last months and then for a short period of time, I'd be super busy only to fall back into low energy, depression, etc. Recently my brother suggested verifying that low T or in my case, almost 0 Testosterone wasn't impacting me in other ways. It was and I've been on IM Testosterone Cypionate weekly shots self-admisnistered. I haven't had any depression since going back and I'm excited about life. BTW I'm in my 70's and had to push my Urologist to prescribe the medication. We are monitoring it every 3 months as my PSA did go up to a 4 from a 2, but that is within normal range for my age. Again, thanks for the details and clear explanation. Do you have a video on wound care? I have some diabetic like foot and leg ulcers and haven't found what I'm looking for around wound care.
I have never been depressed, always a happy go lucky kind of person then I hit 55 and I became depressed, got so bad I had a hard time going to work. Had my t levels checked and I was down to 125. Started doing TRT shots and the depression went away. Started at a shot every 3 weeks but was having mood swings by the middle of the 3rd week. Now taken every 2 and feeling much better, levels are in the 800’s.
Went in to test my levels at 19 because I was always tired, had trouble gaining weight, couldn't focus, had little to no appetite, and, worst of all, I had absolutely no sex drive. The results came back that I had T-levels similar to that found in a 65 year old man. My endocrinologist started me with clomed (sp?), but that did not get me where I wanted. After several months of trying to see if it would boost me to an acceptable level, it failed, so we agreed to begin me on a livelong journey of intramuscular TRT. While I went from 115 lbs at 6'1" to 195 lbs, eventually 218 lbs (not naturally, thanks EQ and Decca), the struggle of dealing with the highs and lows, every week when my test is peaked post-injection and plummets towards the end of the weeks dose, is tough. I felt the best around 850 to 900. My gains in the gym were incredible. My sex drive was proper for my appeal. My grades were great in grad school. The doctor was always uncomfortable with my levels being there, and tried to curb my dosage, but he didn't know what my body felt like.
I had radiation therapy for my brain tumor which was located right above my pituitary gland and I was diagnosed with low testosterone earlier this year since my oncologist suspected it. I am currently 23 but will more then likely have to undergo replacement therapy later this summer and fall when I go and have a visit with the endocrinologist. Most of those symptoms I have definitely experienced especially the libido and low energy levels.
Good morning, thank you for your comment. Let me tell you quickly, my blood tests give me low testosterone and all my life I had symptoms (not gaining muscle mass, depression, low weight, little strength, etc).... ALL the endocrinologists and urologists that I visit told me to do TRT. ...I did it for a while, but I left it, because I can't understand how any doctor can diagnose why I have low testosterone... Without further ado, what I wanted to ask you is, if you had any particular symptoms due to your pituitary tumor? ? The only study that I did not perform is a magnetic ultrasound on the head, to check for a possible tumor. I also have thyroid problems (hypothyroidism)
I get my level checked every year around the same month and always in the morning fasted for at least 12hrs. My levels are always in the upper 600ng/ml range and the free test is around 80pg/ml. I exercise 4-5 times per week and sleep at least 7hrs per night. I am a 45 year old male.
I had my couple blood tests over the past couple months and I was consistently at 200. Just started my testosterone replacement therapy gel 1.62% last night on my shoulder. I’m pretty excited about this. I also read that a study reported that a group of men in their forties to 80s all with Minor to moderate to severe heart problems. had a double blind test we’re half got a placebo and half got testosterone. In both cases around 7% of them, I had an issue such as a blood clot, stroke, heart attack. This is great news for people on testosterone replacement therapy as it meansyou’re probably not going to have a negative event happen and if you did it statistically would’ve happened probably anyway.
This is a good and informative video, well done. I've personally been on a doctor prescribed TRT program for almost 12 years now. It has contributed to help me stay metabolically, mentally, sexually and overall healthy as I'm coming up on 46 years of age. Furthermore, I've also worked full time within the HRT/TRT space for the last 12 years with medical professionals while assisting hundreds of men with their TRT programs and I can attest that for most, it is a game changer for so many men in their professional and personal lives - not to mention in the bedroom and in their married lives. For something that can be fairly simple to safely address and improve quality of life, low testosterone and endocrine imbalance is too often made out to be way more complicated that what it needs to be while unfortunately (and sometimes unfairly) getting ignored by others. Just like optimal levels of exercise, nutrition and sleep; optimal hormone balance is essential to looking, feeling and performing at our best in life.
The answer to the question at the end there, should be 4000 Kg. The pressure experienced at each of the surfaces is equal, so F1/A1 = F2/A2 Now, since the radius of the smaller tube is 1/20th of the larger tube, the area is 1/400th of the larger tube. Force F1, representing the force exerted by the weight of the toy car, F1 = 10*g Newtons. Force F2 represents the force being balanced by the toy car in the larger tube, F2 = M*g Newtons. (M being the mass of the supported weight) (10*g)/(A) = (M*g)/(400*A) hence, M comes out to be 4000 Kgs
I'm 75 and I have taken TRT since I was 26. When my level was tested it came back 199. I had no energy and pushed myself thru each and every day I lived. Once my level reached 400, I began to climb out of the fog I was in. My sex life was like I was 16 again and has stayed that way ever since. I just don't see any reason for not doing the TRT. My level now runs around 400 to 500 and I am a happy camper. My PSA levels run between .04 and 1.2 and have since they started checking them when I turned 40. My doctor tells me my prostate is as healthy as a teenagers. I don't get up several times a night to pee like many of my male friends do. I generally sleep 6 to 7 hours before I have to get up to pee. There are occasions that I will wake up say about 4 to take a wiz. Those are few and far between. Generally when that happens, I will have been out for a meal, had some coffee and most likely a fine mixed drink, no more than 2. Guys, TRT is the best thing that ever happen to me. I have tight muscles, I'm 6" 1", 240 lbs. and feel like a million. I will go to my grave on TRT.
I was suicidal and my doctor put me on anti-depressants. It made everything worse. I took myself off of them and went back to my doctor and got tested for test levels. They were just under 200ng/dl. I started trt and the depression went away in a few days. I've been on it for 6 years now. I've had a few issues with my doctors messing up my refill or new insurance saying I don't need over the last few years. It only takes about a week off of it before the depression comes back full force.
I'm 36 and i've had every symptom he listed for as long as i can remember. How is it that a doctor has never mentioned this as a possibility? Better late than never I suppose.
I haven't produced testosterone for almost forty years. I have never really had my levels checked. There have been times I haven't had my injections for quite some time, such as in covid lock down. I did notice depression, lack of energy, no motivation, etc. I have heard that it can cause liver and prostate cancer though so if I were looking into topping it up, I would certainly have my levels checked. Like any medication, there are always side effects. In my lifetime of a lot of involvement with medicine and the medical profession I have learned that sometimes the symptoms of something are a heck of a lot easier to handle than the side effects of the medicines they use to treat you.
@@Smurphenstein Oh sorry to hear that. I live having higher testosterone levels now that I’ve discovered life is better with it. Can feel like a man and get a hard on again and have the drive to have hard workouts again
@@Richie_Alpha_Rabbit69 one of the hardest things I find is getting motivation and keeping my mood up. I used to be up at 6AM and working out, swimming, kayaking, cycling, running. Now I find if I don't have to get up I sleep until midday, can't find anything enjoyable any more and it's like I am walking through a life with no excitement, no ups and downs, like I am on cruise control. Amazing what a chemical imbalance can do to us.
@@Smurphenstein Yea I was the same way I would load up on ephedrine and pre workout to get a workout in at night then fall asleep right after even while loaded up. Now if I take it I actually feel the caffeine and ephedrine and can’t take it as much. I had sex with a girl a couple weeks ago and it was amazing I was able to switch positions and stay hard as a rock. Before I’d get the condom on and it would go soft lol terrible feeling! Even with viagra it sucked because I had no libido. When my girl died I stopped doing anything sexual eventually stopping jerking off too. I did hard IV drug use through my late teens and 20s on and off. Now I take methadone which I started when I met the girl that died in 2018. I had accepted I was useless in that department and figured I may have to come off the methadone to get function back. But now I am lowering dose I’m down to half of what I was for the methadone since starting Testosterone. I used to slee 15 hours Friday night into Saturday afternoon now I wake up for work at 5 with no alarm most days. And 8 hours on weekends
As someone who has taken topical T gel on and off over the years for Low T, the drug can be both amazing and problematic. It is mind boggling how well it can improve mood, energy, and muscle pain. It also helped with GI issues (IBS and gastritis in my case). It even pretty much cured foot arch pain in days after plaguing me for many months. Drawbacks, at least for me, included chronic nasal inflammation and a red blood count that got so high it was causing uncontrollable spells of itchiness. Missing doses also caused a bit of a yoyo effect with my mood and GI. Moral of the story? This drug/hormone is crazy powerful. Just know what you are getting into when taking it. It is also expensive, even with insurance.
It's true. Everyone has their own "right" level and if you start treatment, you need to be very good about dosing. Too high or to low puts you on a roller coaster. I like Anrdogel. It's more than strong enough.
Itchiness may have been due to an increased blood flow. The itchiness occurs (to the best of my knowledge) when toxins are carried through the cell walls back into the blood stream. The cells release Histamines to encourage itchiness. The benefit of this? Is to encourage you to assist in getting the toxins through the cell wall into the blood stream. You don't need to dig in with the nails. Just finger tips to "push". Our bodies are so grateful it will even reward us by secreting an endorphin that creates a "Pleasurable" feeling.
@@johnwilliams8818 ultimately it was diagnosed as histamine driven pruritis from high RBC, which was a result of me taking 2 tubes of Testim daily. Until they figured out the cause, though, it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever encountered. I would have random bouts of extreme unexplained itching all over my body that would last 10 seconds to 5 minutes. It went from once a week to eventually many times a day (and night). Hot showers were the one thing that was guaranteed to trigger them, but I could have them wake me up at 3am. It was literally driving me mad. I should also note that an internal med doc, allergy doc, and dermatologist all failed to diagnose the cause. It was only when I visited my endocrinologist on a normal follow-up visit (due to the Rx) that she made the possible connection, suggesting I cut the dose to see if it helped. The symptoms stopped immediately.
Male, 28 years old here. Diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism (low testosterone) after messing around with steroids between ages 19-24. Never fully recovered from using them. I also didn't know anything back then regarding safe use. Didn't do any bloodwork before/after steroid cycles. Now on TRT (125mg per week) and starting to feel better after a few weeks. Suffered massively from depression, low motivation, no libido whatsoever, erectile dysfunction, and struggling to put on muscle mass no matter how in check both my training and diet were.
I started TRT 10 years ago when i was 34...I had all the symptoms of low T ...my test showed my total T at 200. @@xstaticelite1640 you got the result presumably because you have symptoms. You should do something about it. TRT isn’t necessarily the answer as there’s things you can do to bring it back up. Failing that, that’s when TRT kicks in. I have many friends with amazing success stories but after years of trying, it didn’t for me. Got on TRT at 29. My levels were substantially lower though, I could get into low 300’s doing everything right.
@@erenb.2806 it is depending on age. It may be normal for a car to eat half a quart of oil every 3000 miles like mine does when it has 200k miles but it’s not normal for a new car. @xstaticelite1640 I'm 25 and I'm at 420, I have been looking at TRT but it does have a lot of side effects, so unsure. Infertility, cardiovascular issues, red blood cell counts, etc. But the benefits are also there. So it's a constant limbo
I am 53 and started TRT a few months ago. When tested my T level was 535, which is very good for my age... however, I was sleeping poorly, not making any gains in the gym despite lifting weights, and not losing belly fat, despite exercise and good eating. I jumped up to >1500 in 2 months. Dialed it back a bit, but I am feeling much better and the doctor said my body was responding well to it. Never used it before. Didn't think I would ever be able to give myself a shot.
I’m a semenoma survivor and lost a nut at age 27. I was a cop for 30 years and, like most cops, firemen, and military combat folks, burned up my adrenal glands on the job. I’m 55 now and have been doing bio-identical subcutaneous pellet TRT for almost six years. I started this journey at an overall 215, being tired, overweight, and feeling like crap. My “free” testosterone now runs around 250-300 while overall testosterone runs between 850-1000. I do weight and cardio workouts six days a week, have great musculature, and feel great all around. Do not follow or listen to the average chart levels adhered to by urologists because they want you to be at the average levels for a man your age. You will feel like crap being at the average level for your age. Go to a hormone specific doctor and they will get you to a level where you will be better than average to help you keep your youth and vitality for years to come.
@@andrewrees8749Thanks for your input. Just sharing an experience of life with TRT and what it can do for you. Apparently you feel I think too highly of myself. So what.
@@andrewrees8749Go see a doctor that does hormone therapy and have your blood work done to test several markers, i.e. testosterone levels, hemoglobin levels, hematocrit levels, PSA count, and others. They'll know. Don't listen to a regular doctor and what they think is "normal" for a person your age. I like to be between 850-1000, but "normal" for my age is 400-600, which makes me feel like a slug and unmotivated. Then choose your method of testosterone replacement. There is a rub on gel, but that can be transferred to others via contact and also sometimes causes dry skin in the area you are applying it. You can inject testosterone cypionate with a syringe, using whatever dosing your doctor prescribes. Injectables often give you peaks and valleys in your hormone levels. My preferred method is subcutaneous pellet insertion, which is said to be the best for keeping your testosterone levels at a constant even rate. A small incision is made in the fatty part of your butt cheek(hip) or flank and testosterone pellets are forced under the skin using a trocar, which is basically a surgical steel straw. This is done under local anesthesia about every 5-6 months.
There are a few other tests that should be done after starting TRT. Free Testosterone, Estradiol, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) and prolactin. All these should be in the normal range. The Free Testosterone range is more important than the Total Testosterone.
Alright so recently here in the last few months I had discovered that I was suffering from low testosterone. To make a long story short, I was very active and lost a lot of weight, but then life happened and I got fatter than I had ever been, and ever since then I just could not stay consistent on any workout routine. I felt tired all the time, I felt unmotivated. I just thought I was lazy or something and kept pushing myself to try and do better. Ten years of yo-yoing later I talked to my doctor about some certain functionality disorder I was having with a certain part and she checked my hormones and, boom, my T was insanely low. Thankfully my body can still make its own testosterone, so I take hormones that ramp up production and it has been a life changing experience in just a few months. And now this video comes out. I can't just not watch it. I'll leave a reply to this comment with my reaction. Let's see what you guys got for me.
You guys are 100%. What's funny is I was sent to 2 other doctors who each requested their own testosterone tests so that, plus my initial round of tests, meant I was tested 4 times and they were all consistently low, sticking to around the 160ng/dl range which, me being a 28 year old male, is concerningly low. It's shockingly low. Another thing they do is they look at other hormones to figure out where your low T is coming from. You have the testosterone, but the other hormones they look at are Luteinizing Hormone (LH), and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). These two hormones do different things in men in women, but in the man's case, they are the signal from the brain to the testes to produce testosterone and sperm respectively. They also check a hormone called Prolactin, a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. If this is at an abnormally high level, it could mean you have what's called a prolactinoma; a tumor on the pituitary gland. Now just what do all these mean? Well, basically. If the LH and FSH are elevated, but your testosterone is low, then you probably have a problem with the testes being able to actually produce testosterone, a condition called Primary Hypogonadism, or Hypergonadotropic Hypogonadism. If you have low testosterone, and your FSH and LH are in normal levels, then you have Secondary Hypogonadism, or Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism, which means your endocrine system either can't (prolactinoma) or won't respond to the low testosterone by increasing LH and FSH production. That's why I was sent to so many doctors, so that they could determine the reason why it was low and how best to treat it. I was put on a medication called clomiphene citrate which mimics LH and FSH, causing an increase on testosterone production. Hoo, boy, I didn't mean to get so long winded with this. Well, we've gone this far, /it's too late to stop now/. Okay so how has low T effected me and what do I notice different now? Pretty much all of the symptoms listed in the video. I had emotional issues, and I had physical issues, pretty much the whole list which isn't surprising given how low my levels were. However, I never thought anything of these symptoms other than just being lazy, and if I could just overcome that and lose weight, I'd be all better, which is true. It was hard to do, though. Like, insanely hard. There was this wall I had to mentally get over before doing anything. Chores, work, and those are essential so if those were hard to do, you could imagine how difficult it was to add something like fitness. Dieting was hard to because that lack of motivation made it hard to will myself to cook healthy, cheap, delicious food at home. It was easier to just get some McDonald's or Taco Bell. I was also just fatigued all the time. At work I would say I had days were my legs felt heavy because of that. What made me realize I had a deeper problem was when I had my first physical relationship. I met my current girlfriend a few years ago and she is the first person I ever slept with, and there were issues. We figured it was just nervousness at first, but after months, and then later a year of barely being able to perform, something was up. I scoured the internet for anything that could point me in the right direction. I tried so many things and fell for a lot of bullshit. Some said porn was the problem, some said masturbation, some said because I wasn't with anyone for so long that my brain had to 'learn' that it was supposed to have sex with her. Yeah, sounds stupid now looking back, and it was enough for me to think I couldn't have any other problem. Fast forward to today. I talked to the doctor about my issues, they found my T was low, sent me to a urologist, they found my LH and FSH were normal, sent me to an endocrinologist, found the same thing and found prolactin was normal, so I was diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism and started treatment. After two months my levels are now 680ng/dl and I am still feeling benefits the higher it goes, so my doctor is keeping my dose the same and I go back in November. The difference its made is almost too good to be true. The first thing to come back was the erectile function. It just worked, it worked more consistently, and it was better, too. Then came motivation. I started being able to just do stuff. Even if I didn't want to do stuff, it was easier to tell myself it needed to be done, and do it. Energy levels came up next, depression subsided, and then libido came back. I didn't know what low libido felt like because I wasn't with anyone before all this happened, but now that i have a libido, I can tell that I was having problems with sex drive. I also found that I perform better at the gym. I started going to the gym again last month and i have been going every day, except weekends. I can push harder and I can do more just right off the bat. I also recover so, so much faster. It used to take almost a week for soreness and fatigue to go away. Now it's gone in about 2 days. I'm putting on muscle a lot better, too. My weight has actually gone up, but I'm feeling slimmer. I also find it easier to cook my own food and haven't been eating out nearly as much, which my wallet appreciates. I feel so frustrated with myself because I genuinely feel like I've robbed myself of 10 years of my life. There's things I wanted to do but couldn't. I wanted to be a pro skater, I wanted to be a musician, I wanted to go into the military and try to be a combat pilot. Was just too fat and too tired. But, I'm fixing it now, and we'll see what I can do with the time I have now. I'm excited for the future.
@@helldropperbrother thank you so much for your comment. Dont worry about its being too long. It really helped me. I am glad you shared your experience...
I'm surprised you didn't touch on the importance of free Testesterone and SHBG. A few years ago I was having some low T symptoms and got tested. My T was 795 ng but had high SHBG from overstressing body from keto and working out too hard so it knocked my free T down. Once I tweeked my diet and workout(more carbs and less intensity) my low T symptoms disappeared. I'm 58.
Yeah exactly I said the same thing had mine tested a year or two ago and was at 600 total. My free on the other hand was considered pretty low, which the way the TRT clinic described it was the readly available test. It's interesting you never hear about the FREE test only the total. Also had a lot of the physical symptoms which they took into consideration and they put me on it at 34.
Good info, I'm the same age and had over 800 prior to symptoms, but have spoken with several doctors, urologists and 2-3 endocrinologists. I even told them what to look for, but ultimately they say that current total T of about 600 is very good at 57 and dismiss me Viagra, I need to find good docs, not these insurance whores. It's amazing what we put up with in health care. I'm open to suggestion for private testing or doctors, thanks.

@TheNunoVeiga life changing. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm going in for my 6 month follow-up next month. I currently take 1 shoot every 14 days, and I'm going to ask if I can do 1 shot every week. I feel myself "coming down" the last 3 or 4 days.

Also, what are the dangers of doing the splits before someone is ready? What parts of the hip are most likely to get injured? Thank you, you're videos have taught me a lot already. Keep it up!
I was ~26yo when I was first diagnosed with low T. Not sure what the numbers were back then, but my last round of TRT got me into the mid-300's with daily transdermal patches. My Dr. at the time was really not interested in tuning the dosages. Injections were not something he was willing to discuss, plus expensive testing, office visits, and prostate exams every few months.... It was not a great treatment plan. At 350-375 I wasn't feeling good enough to justify ~$2500 a year in medication and doctor visits, so I stopped. In hindsight, big mistake. There is (at least in my experience) a kind of hole a person can fall into. Poor physicality can cause low T, but without testosterone it's difficult and slow, if not impossible, to change the physicality. For me, I tried diet changes and exercise without TRT and lost a decent chunk of mass, nearly 20%. I had gone from 407lb to 325lb, but I could go no further. Weightlifting was useless. I had all the tracking apps, preplanned workouts, calculated macros, supplements, etc. I just couldn't add lean muscle. I pushed harder, focused on cardio since that was the only way I had to burn calories, and the cumulative strain snapped my spine. They told me it was an undiagnosed birth defect, but given recent studies suggesting a link between low T and osteoporosis, I wonder if that wasn't a factor. At least I got away with some screws, rods, and some lost mobility, and avoided paralysis and most of the radiculopathy. Anyway, that was years ago. Just recently, I joined one of the mail-order testosterone clinics. I'm not here to plug which one. My mental and physical fatigue had been increasing sharply over a 6 month period, to the point that I feared I'd lose my job. I struggled to stay even remotely productive across a normal workday, even with constant caffeine intake. This clinic requires at least two tests before prescribing testosterone, and at least one consult with one of the network doctors. Routine labs and doctor consults are part of the service. I'm not digging the injections, but even only a month in my energy is starting to come back. I'd been trying to do at least some daily push-offs from my desk to stay a little active, and after starting treatment my rep counts are actually increasing. It's not much of a workout but it's something. My caffeine intake is down, the brain fog is still there, but hopefully that'll start to lift over the next couple months. I guess, in short, my advice to gents who are feeling run down is: low T is not just an old man's issue. If you're consistently feeling several of the symptoms in the video, get checked. Work with your doctor. If the numbers back you up and your doctor won't help, get a second opinion. Based on my experience, and from the studies I've been reading lately about the link between low T and bone density, heart health, and more, having good, normalized T levels is (I would say) critically important. But just to reiterate (and the video says it as well) work with your doctor to get it right. And that goes double for you younger guys. If you are having symptoms, work with a doctor. Stop being embarrassed. This isn't just about the bedroom, and asking your medical team to discuss it won't make them think you can't perform for your partner. This is one of the things that could make your middle years either happy, healthy, and productive, or else turn them into a painful, exhausting slog.
I wish the doctors would listen to me and help me with low T but everyone I go to says the same thing "you are in range so I won't give you testosterone or "you are way too young for TRT" (I'm 25). I have had several T scores in the 300 to 400 range, one test came back at around 500, that was the highest score. But the mean score was like 425 or something. I have clear low T symptoms, like stated in the video. I especially struggle with low mood, anxiety and bad strength at workouts, I also cannot build muscle properly. I still look like a teenager basically. But I cannot change it since all the doctors failed me. I'm from Europe and here it is nearly impossible to get Testosterone unless you are severely hypogonadal or have some gene defect.
@@straightflush6095 I have the same issues and no doctor wants to help. Starting testing in 2019 each year at least once to this year and been going between 288 and 374 (10-13 nmol/L is what they use here) where the 374 was just a spike in 1 of the 5 tests two years ago. My doc opted for gonadotropin instead of TRT, saying that since my levels were in the normal range but towards the low end it meant the boys were producing testosterone, just not enough, and that TRT would likely push them into making even less, atrophying, and keeping me dependent on it for the rest of my life. And it was like going thru puberty again. My back got hairy, my voice dropped a bit, 'lil Cap and the boys got bigger, male pattern baldness accelerated, the shape of my body changed (I got less hippy) and I was finally able to put on muscle mass. I only used it for maybe 2-3 years (about 20 years ago) and levels have been good ever since, 700-900. Pretty crazy.
I wanted to be up around 3000 ng/dl so HCG didn’t help me I gotta take 500 mgs of testosterone cypionate to get up there. Now I’m super man and can bang 50 times a day while bicep curling.

Female diagnosed with relatively high (compared to the expected female range) androgen levels here. My kind of hormonal therapy has been to *reduce* androgen levels in the blood since the side effects like unwanted body and facial hair was making me uncomfortable. Gradually upping the dose of spironolactone since low doses weren't getting the desired effects. I was curious to hear more about the effects of low androgen levels in *females*, wish the video had gone a bit more in depth with that.
This video did not mention that the patient's cbc also needs monitoring and the testosterone should be discontinued if the red cell count rises too high.

I’m 53 years old and experienced all of the symptoms of having low testosterone!! My levels are considerably lower than normal. They were at a 140 and to be considered to be low I think is 300. My TRT therapy is just starting. I’m excited but also saddened that I waited so long to get help but I was unaware of Low T & suffered from depression.
I was wondering why the T concentration was measured in ng/dL instead of the usual mg/L found in chemistry. Apparently, 1 mg/L = 10^5 ng/dL, or 1000 ng/dL = 0.01 mg/L. That's a concentration so small it can't even be detected using most equipment. It's astounding to think such minuscule amounts of testosterone can make such a large difference.
24 year old male here, been investigated and diagnosed with dysthymia that started in my early teens but I only recently found out that it was actually depression and not just some personality trait. I have pretty much like 80% of the signs and symptoms listed in the video and I recently had my testosterone tested and I was told that my levels were normal and after this video I decided to check the results for myself and it was 248ng/dL. after watching this I'm wondering if there is any reason they would tell me my testosterone is normal?
200-300µg/l in today's men is "normal" as in the majority of men are on this T-levels. The REAL Norm as it's supposed to be is anywhere from 600 to 1500µg/l. They (official institutions, scientists, etc.) just dropped the levels and declared it as normal, instead of fighting the root causes of low T-levels in men.
I'm 31 with high prolactin, ED problems, "low" T (300-ish) and high FSH. Just started on TRT to see how it goes. Hopefully its a fix for my issues but it sucks that TRT also comes with potential nasty side effects like blood clots and testicle atrophy. Life just dealt me a horrible hand :/
My daughter's father has had low t for years and been on injections for it for quite some time. His doctor was utterly amazed we'd been able to have a baby at all, actually. His urologist does blood work every time he goes in to keep an eye on his levels. Unfortunately it wasn't able to recover his sex drive but having him be healthy is more important. After all, our hormones affect our entire bodies and many of our basic functions, not just the baby making. XD

I'm a 54 year old transgender woman who has been on MTF HRT (0.35 ml IM injected Estradiol Valerate per week) for nineteen months. I dont take a testosterone blocker, as on injectable Estrogen, the body's endocrine feedback loop takes care of testosterone production, keeping it in the range for cisgender women. Its been a bumpy journey but overall worthwhile. A video or two along the lines of this one on HRT best-practice for trans people, both MTF and FTM, analysing the pros and cons of cross-sex HRT, would be massively appreciated! So many clinicians and therapists are either rather blissfully ignorant, or are excessively affirming - lacking proper circumspecrion and analysis in their approach, in my not so-humble opinion 😅 Thanks for a great channel 😊
I am testicular cancer survivor. Lost one of my boys in that process. For TRT, I found that I didn't like to go above 300. 250-300 was my sweet spot. I started getting jittery above that. But I'm in my late 60's.
At that age youd normally stop giving trt at all because you’re at an age where the body stops producing it naturally anyway
If a woman has one of her ovaries removed would that be considered losing one of her girls?

I had the same about 6 years ago. I was put on testosterone gel but my levels went through the roof and felt equally shit.
Took a couple of months of experimenting to stabilise my ideal dose.
I think that's kinda high, isn't it?
She also gave me further guidance on diet & exercise (namely less sugar, red meat, processed foods, and more strength training - all of which I've adhered to.)
Total testosterone now peaks at (1300) and with the increased frequency of IM injections, never falls below (1000.) I donate blood to keep my hematocrit levels in the acceptable range.
Good luck.

Nope, thyroid hormone levels were way off and one side effect of methimazole is body hair loss.
Endocrinologists, worth their weight in gold.

I could grow muscles, have facial hair, etc. So maybe my doc was correct. Later I learned that the free Testosterone (in a single digit) is more important. Total Testosterone (in 3 or 4 digits) doesn't mean much. Maybe check your free T and circle back to your doc?

How big was the tumor?
The pressure experienced at each of the surfaces is equal, so F1/A1 = F2/A2
Now, since the radius of the smaller tube is 1/20th of the larger tube, the area is 1/400th of the larger tube.
Force F1, representing the force exerted by the weight of the toy car,
F1 = 10*g Newtons.
Force F2 represents the force being balanced by the toy car in the larger tube,
F2 = M*g Newtons. (M being the mass of the supported weight)
(10*g)/(A) = (M*g)/(400*A)
hence, M comes out to be 4000 Kgs
That's what I calculated too.
I saw 4000 and thought you were talking about testosterone levels of 4000.

Thankfully you are aware of what your levels should be, and if they dip low what the results are.

I haven't produced testosterone for almost forty years. I have never really had my levels checked. There have been times I haven't had my injections for quite some time, such as in covid lock down.
Thanks for sharing your experience!

I'm 42. I had a test done 5 years ago. My levels were 230s on both test. The Dr I seen said she was going to start me on it then she left. The new Dr said I'd be fine. Got put on an antidepressant. 5 years of hell later I finally got put on testosterone gel. It's only been 5 days but the difference is night and day. Played with my 6 y.o yesterday for the first time in 5 years. My mood is a lot better, concentration is getting a lot better. Kind of pissed 5 years of my life wasted.

The testosterone range can be very frustrating. 300 is within range but if you’re in your 20’s it’s still terrible.
I'm a 27 yo male and got a result of 350 and my doctor said it's all good... I don't want to go on TRT but I still feel like I should see if I could do something about it
@@xstaticelite1640 you got the result presumably because you have symptoms.
@@Chopped86 ok thankfully i don't have to go on TRT now that ik this, i used to think that 500 to 1200 was the range of normal test in males.
@@erenb.2806 it is depending on age. It may be normal for a car to eat half a quart of oil every 3000 miles like mine does when it has 200k miles but it’s not normal for a new car. @xstaticelite1640
I'm 25 and I'm at 420, I have been looking at TRT but it does have a lot of side effects, so unsure.
Didn't think I would ever be able to give myself a shot.
helped you burn abdominal fat?
Would you like a medal ? Talk about blow your own trumpet!
@@andrewrees8749Thanks for your input. Just sharing an experience of life with TRT and what it can do for you. Apparently you feel I think too highly of myself. So what.
My level is low, what can be done about ?

I'm surprised you didn't touch on the importance of free Testesterone and SHBG. A few years ago I was having some low T symptoms and got tested. Yeah exactly I said the same thing had mine tested a year or two ago and was at 600 total. My free on the other hand was considered pretty low, which the way the TRT clinic described it was the readly available test. It's interesting you never hear about the FREE test only the total.
I'm 27 y/o now.
Lost count how many times I've been thinking about getting something "off the street" but I think it's extremely risky and don't want to make things worse for myself. Hence why I'm looking through comments on how other people have dealt with their low T. So far can't find anyone getting doctor help that is above ~250 ng/dl

At 32 my T levels were 133 ng/dl. Within 6 months of TRT my levels are now at 1013 ng/dl
Free or total?
@probico definitely not free level
i bet your mood is way better lel
@Ph0nkTr0llge seriously its changed my whole life
@@Murphxl man.. im just 18 and im feeling like old grandpa that's crazy because xylometazoline nasal spray fucked up my breathing and my sleep is sh*t and because of that i have t levels of old grandpa lmao and still need to wait months for surgery
I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months all natural no TRT. This book should be essential reading for all men. Written by a 50s guy with natural T levels of a 20s guy
Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis
35yo man and I experienced most symptoms listed and tested low 150ng/dl and it was a struggle to lose weight, my doctor put me on 300mg depo-testosterone a month.
It's been 2 months now and I lost 9.6kg's (20+- lbs) in one month and I feel like a new person everything is improving in my life and I would highly recommend any man to go and get the blood work done if you have these symptoms, get the right treatment and change your life for the better.
I'm just turning 39.
I was born with just one testie, doctors claim this doesn't effect production but how can it not?
In Sweden it's hard to get any help as well, i feel like i'we had Low T for 20 years but it just gets ignored.
God bless you brother 🙏🏼 just get trt and enjoy your life
Female diagnosed with relatively high (compared to the expected female range) androgen levels here.
I was sitting at 320 so I hopped on sitting at 750-850 diest was in check and I was actively working out and taking supplements. Took test at 9am. Had almost everything on the list. Cured most of my symptoms besides facial hair.
Could you make a video about how contraception implants does with a female body ? I love your content ❤
I'm only 19 and I have a testosterone level of 28. This came as a major shock to me when I got my blood test results back. I'm currently in the process of doing more blood work and multiple tests to see the cause of it is. But it has caused me a lot of major stress since I have such a low level at my age.
That's normal, consider yourself lucky.
Im 17 with the same problem, it's very frustrating.
@@wasupfool5692what? @omegasbane dont hear him
at least you found out sooner then later. my uncle did his test it came back at ZERO. but hes 51 and he used to do a lot of steriods when he was younger working out so his natural test shut down. he had a stroke too recently and doc said it was cause he has no test in his body. having 28 is like zero . should def get that sorted.

I am thirty years old. I have been as low as 270 ng/dl and as high as 1500+ ng/gl based on lab tests and I've been in the normal range for the last couple years. Can't stress enough how much it can help if you get yourself looked at. You will feel your energy return and be more focused than ever. Don't waste time reading all these comments either. Get out there and do it!
Unless you live in Sweden, because testosterone boosts from doctors is more forbidden than drug usage. And people hate drugs over here. The doctors are not inclined to help you.
@@anderseriksson7187 That's terrible! Hopefully someone will lobby for more relaxed laws. Drugs don't automatically have to be bad
Maybe because it is so small it is easier to say 1000ng/dl than 0.01mg/l, just a tough.
@@Azzaros That was kind of implied in my comment 😃
@@feynstein1004 Aha, yea, sorry, English is not my native language, didn't understand you the first time :)
Alot of doctors don't give a fuck - "yeah yeah, it's normal" while it clearly isn't.
Can we get a similar video about estrogen?
low test survivor here , get on TRT its amzing!
Blood clots are a side affect of the coNvid jab, not TRT.
How u feel now
Any feedback
My daughter's father has had low t for years and been on injections for it for quite some time. His doctor was utterly amazed we'd been able to have a baby at all, actually. His urologist does blood work every time he goes in to keep an eye on his levels. Unfortunately it wasn't able to recover his sex drive but having him be healthy is more important. After all, our hormones affect our entire bodies and many of our basic functions, not just the baby making. XD
I also don't have children till now I married 2017 my husband has erectile dysfunction problem is it because of low testosterone? He still didn't check his testosterone level
Has he tried herbs like maca root and ashwaganda and matcha green tea. Avoid high caffeine and alcohol

I was 56 & being over dosed on trt at a anti aging clinic, I was testing beyond 1000 & doctor told me to continue the dosage, I was Superman, strong as a 19 yr old & getting definition, my hair began to fall out in chunks, & found I could have had a heart attack, I fired this doctor as a result, be careful where you go for this
56 here, well I'm going to try 💯 natural first before I do trt.🏋♂️🏃♂️🏋♀️
Yes most guys at my gym over 50 on it but they never worked out until retired so it's a crutch for them to catch up to those who put in the time.
@@hotwheel6663 Are you sure most guys at your gym over 50 are getting testerone.Im sure Drs wouldn’t prescribe it so how are they getting it.
There are many other factors. SHBG, Free testosterone, Estrogen levels, DHT levels etc. Also is important insulin and cortisol levels.
Yes too much caffeine is no good
Last year at age 34 I was at 170, my first follow up didn't show much increase, low 200's. My next follow-up was much better, low 300's. I can't wait to see what my 3rd follow up shows in a couple months. Oh I've also lost 50lbs since my first diagnosis last October.
You should also do a video on hormone replacement therapy for transgender people, both mtf and ftm.
This isn't a freak show, this is actual educational content.

So many clinicians and therapists are either rather blissfully ignorant, or are excessively affirming - lacking proper circumspecrion and analysis in their approach, in my not so-humble opinion 😅
Thanks for a great channel 😊
I snorted out loud at the "willy nilly" comment. I am a 30-year-old child 🤣
Took me a second lol
If it was "nilly willy" it would make more sense though
