Black bolt - Without the throws I don't think he's as scary as Thor2 (Or Hulk/Gladiator). He does a lot of neat stuff though. His new card is kind of hilarious, probably more on the OG version. Maximus - I'm a little disappointed with the leadership but the character is neat. His card is cool but 4 power is a lot on him. Medusa getting a leadership is a great boost to the affiliation. Very exciting.
Agree regarding Maximus, its unique but feels a little RNG heavy to me. I'm curious to see where Bolt lands, I think it'll largely depend on what crisis are still in the game when the gladiator box hits, since I think he's a menace for E or I shapes.
I was keen to get into Inhumans but not keen on the mandatory leadership. The downside is too big for me - will see what the rest of the new box contains though :)
@@ZetroxWargaming Great point! For the wording on her card does she still need another leader in the group or does that card replace the need for original BB or Maximus?
@@kihunc5772 Thankfully no, it's like Iron Man (original), the attack can only be affected by 1 instance of a superpower with the same name, so you could spend 6 if you wanted to dump power for whatever reason, but it'll only benefit it once.
Maxumus under old black bolt might fix his power problems if he has any, a valuable defensive piece to swap power to. I really like og black bolt and his leadership, but none of the other inhumans really caught my eye. Hopefully this new wave might kindle my interests.
My initial impression is that I'm a little disappointed in Maximus, but I'm willing to be proven wrong. New Black Bolt seems very strong, but Black Bolt 1's leadership is so good that it's going to take some getting used to not bringing the OG. I'm excited for Medusa's new leadership, and she may be worth bringing just to get to take Black Bolt 2 in affiliation.
I sadly agree regarding Maximus, regarding bolt I think having both in a list is gonna be very viable, OG for the leadership and the new one for E or I map secures where the beams will wreak havoc.
I am not a fan of Maximus's leadership. If it was once per turn free reroll with skull bad things then I would think it is fine but as is not sure it is worth it. I love that Medusa has a leadership and who I would play as the leader with the new black bolt I think. I am not sure I like the new black bolt more than the old one. I think I would have to play him to see how I like him but I feel like he is fairly ignorable and someone you can manage unlike other 6 threats.
Medusa leadership is definitely a highlight, especially with new black bolt (and the old one probably likes it too). Personally I think new Bolt is gonna be really obnoxious on secures that are more bunched up, consistent 7 dice beams with a wild push is a lot of dice to throw at an opponent, but it would appear I'm in the minority on him right now so we'll see how things shake out.
Really looking forward for Maximus as a splash, with his Plots card. It may really broke 2 or 3 round for opponent
Medusa leadership is awesome
I agree, it looks really strong for either Black Bolt

The real Inhumans win for me with this reveal is the Medusa leadership, I think both Black Bolts will really like it.

Does Black Bolt get a power for each of his beam attacks? Because it's worded different from Crimson Dynamo.
It should still work the same way, just an inconsistency in the templating. If it was only 1 overall it would say "attack action" I believe.
Can Increase the volume stack? Like if he has just flipped can he spend 6 for a 9 die beam?

I've been kinda in a similar boat, loved OG bolt but not so much most of the affiliation, really excited to see the other 2 now.
