Someone on Reddit suggested that Nighcrawler loves the leadership. That's about all I can think of for using it. Also, I hate to say it, but 2 physical defense on a leader is pretty rough. Asgard and Brotherhood are going to have a field day with that.
I also don't care for the leadership. I think with the new Medusa card, that's the better bet. I do love the character, and he'll definitely be in some Medusa and OG BB lists.
After using the Maximus leadership, I retract this statement. It's actually really fun. In a game I played, I probably rolled with the leadership 20+ times or so, and I got moved 2 or three times. having a little bit of extra power was actually a reasonable trade off for the movement.
So the leadership... let's say it rolls into a skull, if a follow up reroll (Inhuman, Zemo, etc) turns it into NOT a skull, does the leadership effect still fire after the attack since it isn't a skull anymore?
I think he's going to be better than my initial impressions of him, which were extremely negative, but that he's still going to be a sub-optimal choice in most lists. I just can't see running him as a leader over Black Bolt or Medusa, really ever.
Has AMG made a call on how "Call Me Maximus" would affect a defense against "Neuro-Annihilation"? Cannot vs Must? Still getting started in the game, but I'm looking forward to the new Inhumans box!

I haven't played in a bit, so I may be getting something wrong, but normally you can't reroll skulls.
@danfocke you are not wrong. Unless an ability allows you to reroll skulls, they stay as they land

Cannot trumps must
I really don't like the leadership. The rest of his kit is fine, but I don't know if that is enough to bring him
