Rajshri Food while whisking the milk for white sauce, it doesnt turn out to be that thick as yours. I whisked for quite long continously on high and high low flame, but didnt turn out to be that thick. Did u add cream to thicken it?
I just don't understand why so many negative comments and comparison with authentic Italian recipe..she has clearly mentioned "with an Indian twist" so appreciate that and try something Indian..
Ruchi teaches each recipe with simplest and easily available ingredients.. Love the recipes and the recipes that I have tried have always been wonderful and hubby always accepted them.. Love your recipes
OMG, I MADE IT AND I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW TASTY IT WAS. I've been searching for the best pasta recipe for I don't know 6-7 years and I have never come across such beauty. I'm so happy that it made me cry. this is my favourite channel. Your videos are authentic, genuine and amazing. THANK YOU :')
I made this today. It was really yummy! Thank you for this recipe. To all the haters who keep saying this is a shame to Italian pasta, please read the title. It clearly says, with an Indian Twist! Don't listen to all these haters, keep posting your recipes! We all really enjoyed it at home :)
So what if it's not totally Italian. Recipes evolve and different cultures will put their spin on it creating different variations. Some of them are usually really delicious. Don't harp on its authenticity as I'm sure she's well aware this isn't a purely Italian dish *smfh*
Hehe had a lot of fun seeing all the Italian people getting so passionate over their cuisine getting violated by the use of ketchup. Well now you know how we feel when you make "tikka (most of you pronounce it teeka) masala" with "curry powder" (which is to a tailor made mix of spices, what ketchup is to fresh made tomato paste if not worse)... Or "biriyani" with a bunch of badly seasoned meat thrown in, and without ghee, or when you melt some butter and think you have made ghee. Lol. But no offense taken, none, food is worth fighting for. I'm a passionate cook myself, and an even more passionate eater. It delights me to see the same passion in others. Keep fighting! And boo ketchup. So much so that I don't even use it with french fries. Go ketchup hate!
Goonergirl: Wow! You know a lot. From when to use "a" and "an" to world cuisine. Yes "teeka" is a Japanese recipe. Just like sushi is Russian and Pasta is Sri Lankan. Yeah google Sri Lanka. ;)
I tried your wonderful recipe❤️ It's really delicious, and so much better than the classical Italian pasta. It's the best pasta I've ever made. My family enjoyed eating it.
I tried this and it was really creamy and delicious. I had a question though ... is it safe to eat tomatoes with milk. My mother says that it might harm me..or something like that.
I swear if u would have been my neighbour .. I would rush ur place daily for all ur amazing recipes .. Appreciate ur recipes .. N few of them i hv already tried!
My goodness this recipe is delicious. I am eating it right now. Thank you thank you. I added chicken to it. Added some Mrs.Dash seasoning garlic powder and basil to the chicken. I used chicken breasts and cut into cubes. It was great. By the way to all the dumb comments, this isn't supposed to be an Italian dish lmao. It's a great recipe if you want to give it a try.
over cook pasta, use olive oil instead butter for vegetables, put peperoncino in ,first with garlic olive oil and basil, very heavy sauce .why you combine ,,bechamel,,sauce (white sauce)with tomato sauce? ketchup in sauce, when you can do sauce with fresh tomatoes?THIS IS NOT ITALIAN PASTA dear lady.
The ketchup was added to sweeten the tinned tomato. Italians use sugar for this but would ever admit to it: of course sugar is unnecessary with ripe tomatoes in an Italian summer.
The only step I could see it being "difficult" is churning the tomatoes after you've boiled them. If you don't have the tools I'm sure you could buy it at the grocery store or used some other tomato base sauce. Other than that this is honestly a 30min meal with very little prep required.
the ketchup is used because the local variety of Indian tomatoes are quite sour in taste unlike cherry tamtoes or their other varieties etc which have sweet flavour, so to balance out that tartness either you add sugar or ketchup( as Indian ketchup tends to be slight sweet) or both sugar and ketchup.
Italian style?! ahahahahah ma fammi il piacere...ketchup is no use in italian recipes. And try to brown garlinc or onions in extra virgin oil please...not in some butter (face palm)...
this isn't Italian. ketchup is for flavoring and is optional. there's no such term as just add in some ketchup means your no cook. italian term can burn in hell. everyone in the world cooks not only italians. noodles come from china and herbs spices comes from India. they cook them before italians do. so do mind shutting your thoughts of how great you think italians cooks are when they got ingredients and recipe ideas from other parts of the world. italian is not way of life is just luxury cooking with full of bullshit methods created to seem harder when actually you can get tastier and healthier cuisines in other parts of the world. go to hell

Rubina Shaikh ,u must add flour little more than roast it for a while in butter then u will get thick sauce..

I tried this and it was really creamy and delicious. I had a question though ... is it safe to eat tomatoes with milk. My mother says that it might harm me..or something like that.
You aren't exactly eating tomatoes with milk in this recipe. You use milk to make a sauce and don't use the milk directly.
Thank you chef! The pasta turned out to be outstanding . Everyone enjoyed it on a special occasion of my mother’s birthday.
I swear if u would have been my neighbour .. I would rush ur place daily for all ur amazing recipes ..

She used fresh tomatoes
pasta is not supposed to cook in italian style.. we like to eat with out own style sometime
+George Maria - That's Italian pasta with INDIAN twist. I'm sure you didn't read the heading properly.
The ketchup was added to sweeten the tinned tomato. Italians use sugar for this but would ever admit to it: of course sugar is unnecessary with ripe tomatoes in an Italian summer.
Easy to make? LOL
+Eshan Patil Easy to eat maybe
+Buraidah coz u two guys r lazy to cook

I have did this today without cheese it came very well and tasty
Thanks! My kids loved this.
That looks so good! The ketchup was not necessary though IMOBWAITS.
Amazing dish I will try ..nd u r so beautifull mam 👍👍😊😊
Everything seemed fine until she added ketchup
u know that every time you tell that in pasta you have to put ketchup one grandma in italy dies?
the ketchup is used because the local variety of Indian tomatoes are quite sour in taste unlike cherry tamtoes or their other varieties etc which have sweet flavour, so to balance out that tartness either you add sugar or ketchup( as Indian ketchup tends to be slight sweet) or both sugar and ketchup.
thanks its amazing ... first time I made it...
very good...... tried it...!!!
thank you....!!!!
Not the ketchup please no!
Gabriele Piarulli why whats the problem if she adds ketchup?
Bee Dal
because that's how you ruin pasta
Gabriele Piarulli then skip that part
because then the remain part of italian pasta go away
Didn't they mention "Indian twist" in the title...?
Italian style?! ahahahahah ma fammi il piacere...ketchup is no use in italian recipes. And try to brown garlinc or onions in extra virgin oil please...not in some butter (face palm)...
bravo fra
no olive oil no pasta..😜
Truth!
can i use extra virgin olive oil?
generally u can mix olive oil with butter to get a true french taste..... but do not use olive oil in white sauce
it's healthier
Best recipe. I tried it yesterday and it turned out real good.
I just made it without putting any ketchup and it tastes amazing. Thanks for the recipe.
