So, I made my own document from scratch, on Canva...it's a paraprofessional binder, which for the most part, I transferred from my power point presentation I did for college and made it into a canva product. I used a rainbow clipart for my little "logo" down in the corner, otherwise it is all my own text pages that I created. I can sell that right? Because that is my hope! I designed it so that SPED teachers can go in and edit it to fit their needs for their school/classroom.
You were saying you cannot use their clip art in your products to sell, did you just mean if you didn’t pay for paid version? Most TpT people have said, and their terms of use seem to say you can if you paid for the paid version you can, with the exception of certain creators?
Hi Ashley, Yes and no, they don't have a blanket statement on clipart. I had emailed them a while ago and under the "permitted uses" - selling educational products" is not there (www.canva.com/policies/content-license-agreement/). Using their clipart for promotional (thumbnails), social media, etc. is permitted.
Do you have to give credit to canva? Curious about the images and fonts. When I use Powerpoint I have a credit page. Do you still include the credit page as well as the page that states what you can and can't do with the product?

Maybe using a link that would take my product to Canva and my customer could personalize it there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Hi Staci-bee Yes, I think I mentioned it in a previous Canva video. It depends on what you are making. For example, I could make name tags in Canva, make them editable and sell them but I have to watch what I'm using for clipart and fonts. What are you thinking of creating?
Hi @Staci-bee in Primary. If you want to make your product editable, click on the "share" button and go to "...more". There, you can create a "template link", so if you send this link to someone and they click on that link, it's going to create a copy of your product and they can edit it, change colors, fonts, text, etc.
I know Canva well. I use Boom for my students but haven't made decks. Is it possible to make the actual boom card slides in Canva? Or is it just the thumbnails etc that you are able to make with Canva? THanks

Yes, you can use it if you created from scratch.
That is true, I spend a lot of time looking for clip arts.

So it sounds like you can not use Canva images to create worksheets to sell on TPT.

I created a button that basically says "thumbnails and cover created with Canva Pro".
So I could use any font or image on canvas and just say “created with canvas pro”

Hi Becky, you can make Boom Cards in Canva, Google Slides or Powerpoint. You just need to watch what clipart and fonts you are using.
