- Sorry about that last minute delay, I accidentally uploaded an unfinished version of the video. But it's finally here. I can't believe I said I was gonna make this video over a year ago, but at least I'm able to make it now.
Well anyway, In this video I try the suggestions you all gave me. Some interesting developments were made, but some things were vague, so I'll probably have to experiment more in the future. - Ігри

He seems to be only able to delete the letters, not create new ones. The word "hate" was created with the sentence he wrote (wHy Are you doing This to mE) so try putting "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" like 10 times. Or just spawn a bunch of letter props, because he seems to be able to move and weld props as well.
Also, try to run the "quit" command in the secret room, because it should force exit the game.

I have suggestions:
First - try to reinstall the game
Second - go to the files of GMOD and find his files, and just delete them
Third - leave him a cookie
Fourth - nuke the whole map
Fifth - replace your skin with scientist model (like his own)
Sixth - leave a message in support of Valve, maybe they will solve this problem

Try to ignore him in every possible way, dont check the locations where he appeared, dont spawn scientists or scientist ragdolls, dont enter secret room, maybe it will cause some reaction from him?

The graffiti seems to be a place where he can "Teleport" (atleast most of the time.) He appears to disappear anytime he is in a room with graffiti, such as the ground floor room and the room on the 3rd floor (Aswell as the rooftop). See what happens if you cover up these graffiti patches with either props or paint. Maybe it'll restrict him? Its worth a shot.

Hi. It seems to me that this scientist is something more than just an NPC. Try to make friends with him. Build him a house, a small laboratory and a kitchen. Give him food and a couple of NPCs he can make friends with. Maybe he will understand that you do not wish him harm and you will get along and, perhaps, you will be able to learn more information from him?

You could try checking the secret room in the map? Not the dark room's secret room created by Einstein, the one that's in GM_Construct normally.
Ooh, good point. For anyone that doesn't know where it is, below the ramp sidewalk, the one that leads to the alcove above the dark room entrance, there's a little open area beneath the door to the brick thing, the wall doesn't have collision. Or you could noclip into the wall directly to the right of the dark room entrance.
Hopefully you find a way to get rid of this thing.
Please continue this. Also, maybe try sending him a chat message, or maybe try making him a gift of any type. And if he is ok with communicating, ask him about his history. That way, we will know the reason behind all this. And check if he can go in other maps.
I have a suggestion: Teleport him to you, so when he appears, just copy the teleport command, and teleport him to you when he appears.

Can you check your PC for old projects? He says you made him like this. Can you remember old things you've done to the scientist ragdoll?

Hey man, I think I got a suggestion for you that worked for me for… a little while atleast. Whenever I went into a game I put a bunch of half life 1 barneys to gaurd me and it worked for a little bit until he just started killing them all. It might be a temp solution but maybe it’ll help you. Another suggestion I have is just trying to talk to it using voice chat or chat bar thingy, mine liked to chat creepy stuff and I responded to it and sometimes it responded back, maybe yours will too?
I think it's better for you to apologize to him and not intimidate him. Write something in the chat like: “please forgive me for all this, I will do everything for you to forgive me, just tell me what to do!”
Edit:I have another idea! Try to go into that strange room, take any weapon (for example, an admin gun) and kill him.Of course, I said that there is no need to fight with him, but I think this option can also be done
There's still an possbility that the tool wont just shoot. As you can see,spawning anything in the strange room didnt work for him.

Try experimenting with saves in Einstein's secret room, like teleporting some stuff through ent_setname there and trying to save it, then removing it and loading save, or maybe you could even send us the save file when you are in that room, if this works out it will be a huge development

Alright, this may seem a bit technical, but try to make a hammer map that's just a small box room. Maybe if he can't move anywhere you can talk to him? Or maybe he only works on maps with nodes and navmeshes? I don't know. I know that usually works with my issue.
You should try to install gm construct 13 and see how the entity reacts to the mingebags or stuff
Say, speaking of mingebags, you should try playing in a public server with alot of people and see what will happen.
You should try being nice to him too, like giving him a toolgun or a physics gun...or reunite all of kleiner-related stuff.

You should try to bind ent_remove on any key and try doing something so this sientist will chase after you, but instead of running away try spaming the key you bind to ent_remove while looking at him. This command can delete almost everything, even spawnpoints.
There's a possibility that the toolgun wont work,it didnt work for him spawning anything when he was in the secret room.

Heey ive got a good suggestion. When you placed some props all over the maps he took only the science machine and boards. he boarded up the entry to the secret room but machines... he probably needs them to build some kind of laboratory or idk. you can help him by placing more science things and write that these are for him. Or you can take all of the science stuff out of the lab with that teleport command.
I also almost Got so scared I wanted to look around for any traces of what that was and i was very scared to do it
spawn in all of the Half Life Source Ragdolls or NPCs (but not the Nihilanth or some other hostile NPCs) and see what happens, maybe the scientist could get some friends to have fun with.

Just to break character for a minute here. This has been an interesting ARG series. It's using a character that not many ARGs would think to use, some of the scares are kinda creative and well done, it's using a more modern version of GMod, and it also takes like certain complaints or stuff that people say they would do in these situations, and actually use them to further subvert expectations. The player actually quits when shit gets crazy and when he doesn't the game just crashes or makes it so he can't, he actually tries to defend himself and in this video actually uses weapons but they don't work, and maybe it's just me but the player never came off as malicious or anything towards Einstien/Coomer. Like they're not torturing them or other NPCs, they're not violent, they don't even really use them in like machinimas or alter their models. The most they do is pose the NPCs in pictures and stuff, and that's it. Half the time they're just messing around in GMod. The only times the player does get violent is after the NPC attacks him and starts doing this weird stuff. I know it might not seem like much, but that extra level of thought helps further add to the storytelling while subverting certain tropes that people come to associate with GMod ARGs, leaving you on your toes as to what will happen next. All in all good stuff.
Having the scientist be an ERROR when HL:S is unmounted is a good and easy way of telling where he is if he stalks you.

can you try asking him why does he hate you or what you have done to upset him and how he managed to follow you in every map or how he was summoned you can also try asking why theres a secret room and why you cant put props into it hes prob gonna say to keep it clean but if you can give them a go

1) continue these questions with the following: “why do you hate me?”, “what can I do so that you don’t bother me,” “how can I get into more direct contact with you, but without the risk of character death?”
2) just try to remove the ragdoll scientist from the game files

I have a suggestion, what about if you place around computers, basically tech things out of your vision, then go afk again and check if they disappear. Because it looks like he's trying to do laboratory in there.
Suggestion: trying calling somebody which had this problemas before. if they could solve it. then i think they might be used to advice or even to try to defeat it.
Alright here's some ideas:
1. Try turning off NPC AI maybe he won't be able to do anything and you could play good normally?
2. Use invincibility or make the settings to "NPCS ignore player"
3. Try using no clip to see if you could map out the weird dark room secret area
I have a suggestion, I dont know if HL scientist will bypass this but try turning on godmode, using an infinite ammo mod, or spawn an NPC to see what the scientist will do to it. Spawn a friendly NPC like a citizen/refugee.
Edit: If you look closely around 8:03 on 0.25 speed, you can see some corrupt effect on the props. I have no idea if the entity caused this, but you should investigate further.
Maybe also try spawning a nextbot if it can probably kill the scientist (Probably not a very good idea of mine but I'll give more suggestions.)
I also forgot, since most of the videos here are recorded only in gm_construct, maybe try switching to a completely different map and maybe the entity won't appear.
Suggestion: try chatting probably ask him if he can leave you alone if he says no then try giving him something in change
or shoot a dr. Coomer ragdoll to see what happens idk

Maybe he's had enough of being a puppet and wants you to free the other ragdolls from being one aswell. I'd suggest spawning NPC's like other Scientists or Security Guards, but he might see that you're trying to trick him, so you should use a Gordon Freeman or other Half Life (1) character player model just to see how he reacts
just try chilling in a chair with a table and spawn another ragdoll, make sure to put 3 chairs, and only one ragdoll.

try enabling wireframe, it won't help with communicating or killing but it will help with visibility and let you see things you otherwise couldn't (such as things hidden behind doors or walls) and by extension sneak around the secret room much more effectively
Hiya! I got a suggestion, late to the party.
The doctor seems to be leaving or just going somewhere every time you encounter him, like he was leaving someplace or just entering in. Try to follow him from a safe distance and see where he goes to!
Try the thermal vision mod to spot him on the map and see where he goes, it might help a lot, and also get the extended properties addon to open locked doors by pressing c and hovering your mouse on them
An error model haunting you sounds scarrier.
2 suggestions:
try playing with him on gm construct 13 beta
and try driving a camera into the secret room using the drive option in the c menu (you can also use this to find him)
I suggest that you should communicate more with him like, try to understand why does he hate you (if he actually does), or actually ask if that's about you or something, the more information the more ways to try to solve this mystery
maybe you did something to his laboratory, where you did different things with the NPCs and he gets angry and takes the devices for the laboratory

Just play on one multiplayer server and see if scientists don't chase you when you're surrounded by players.

I have an idea, nextbots kill everyone on the map, spawn the nextbot and see where it goes, and also turn on the “ignore players” mode
Try to ask him "why you're hate me ?", or Try to talk to him again, But even if it does - i think He just doesn't want to be a ragdoll, and he takes revenge for what you did to him

You should have a camera viewing the number 2 room in the tower, because thats where you see it alot. who know it could be nothing
I think it would be a good idea wait in AFK and take the removal gun and when he approaches try to remove him
Hey bro, here's my suggestion! Try to take Einstein with an admin gun when he tries to attack you or is standing somewhere.
Turn your gm_construct map into a void completely, to ensure its gonna kill it, make the whole map a trigger block that kills, mark in the flags to kill EvERyThiNg
By holding down c by default (it might also be "x") on a prop you can just select drive entity and then bring any entity into the secret room. By clicking drive you are able to morph through anything
I think the secret room was boarded because if you were in the room again you couldn't leave
theories (or rather, speculation):
-that thing is a ghost, for some reason it knows you and hates you (I know, it sounds really stupid)
-That thing is an artificial intelligence, which would be more coherent than the previous one, because when you dismounted HLS it did not stop, because I mean, that thing in its programming must have the scientist's model selected, if it were a ghost I think that I would have done something else
suggestions:
-Uninstall Garry's Mod and play any source game you have (Preferably HLS)
-forget about gmod and play Jbmod (LOL)
-write directly from the game chat, see if with that you can have a more fluid and direct conversation

I have a idea: bring multiple players at once bring alot of npcs to fight for you and make the army spawn alot of nukes, using alot delete tools on him

So you did the zombies, try the rebels and combine soldiers or other synthe if he appear again in the tower or notice he stole dr. Kleiners stuff, spawn the props again or just dont play the game for weeks or whole months. Use the Golden Crowbar, i prob did it many times and got a kill idw if thst really works
1# Try changing player models to confuse him, and try to use all hl1 related models like barney, gordon, or a coomer model. (This may anger him but, try to use an HECU)
2# Try making npc battles (Combine vs Rebels or HECU vs Black Ops) Maybe coomer will interrupt the fight in some way. He will either side with the rebels or he'd kill everyone, imagine what he does to the npcs
3# Use ragdolls, npcs, weapons, and playermodels from other source games (Mods like entropy zero included) to get a reaction out of him.
4# What if you've played other source games like tf2 or hl2? Would he follow you or nah?
5# Look through your Gmod files, maybe he's trying to talk to you through that way

Make a robot to explore the secret room.
You can probably use some mod to save and teleport the robot to the secret room.
Maybe try spawning in NPCs like the Combine, or rebels to see what he’ll do with them.
maybe the secret room you found is his place and he doesnt want you to place any props or interact with anything in there just ask him if the secret room is his place
I have a suggestion that might work, see if he can communicate via text chat or the dev console, or maybe set up some way for him to live type a message with add ons
