I love cats, and all other nonhuman animals, and know they’re equal animals & family members not objects to own and that’s why I recognise it’s sickening & heartbreaking to still support slavery and such!
Our last two were brother and sister. We laughed every day! Me, son and two knuckleheaded cats. So completely different from each other in all but their markings and their crooked tails. Such a big part of our little family. I've had the awesomest cats in my lifetime. It's all in the respect you give them. So richly rewarded for it! My dad and son were both cat whisperers. They could eventually get every skittish cat in the neighborhood to come to them for attention. Like I said, it's all in the respect shown. Two of the finest men I've ever known.
These cats are so CAT! My life has been filled with cats. I rescue them. They are all silly at some point, acrobatic, rambunctious, unapologetic and let you love them. They are irresistible!
Cats are much smarter than many people think. One of my cats, Leif, was extemely intelligent and understood using humor to cheer me up. When my eldest cat died, I was crying. Leif came to sit in front of me and stared into my eyes to be sure I was paying attention. He then started to chase his tail. He went all out, jumping around and turning somersaults. He was not a kitten at this point or very physically active. He was generally pretty lazy and this wasn't his usual behavior at all. It was for me. He looked so silly that I had to start laughing. As soon as I laughed, he stopped and lay down next to me, purring. And this wasn't a one time situation. He always did goofy things when I was upset, until he got me out of my funk.
Cats can be trouble but you just couldn't be mad at them because they're like eternal toddlers who don't know any better and never grow out of the "Mine!" phase yet we love them so much

I had a Bombay cat who could open the kitchen cabinets. Sometimes all of them would be opened. If he couldn't find anything good to eat, he would find a cozy spot inside to sleep.
I had to get Baby-Safe clasps for all of my drawers after getting my current cat. Otherwise he would open all the desk drawers and take all of the contents out.
I have baby locks on all of my kitchen cabinets but they still manage to get the bread out of the cabinets. I also have to get new fridge locks, the little brats managed to ruin the old one and they LOVE pizza day, Chinese day, and they got into the freezer where I keep the kitten milk replacement formula, knocked the formula out of the freezer, and had a great time eating the KMR powder!!! Got home and there were little white kitty paw prints EVERYWHERE and I found the open formula can on the opposite side of the house, licked completely clean!!!
I had one of those, named him Snoopy, and that he was and doing so on a regular schedule….he would take things out of our cupboard, this is where we would put our watches and such before going to bed. I then noticed him taking things from the cupboard, playing with them, and then hiding them so he could play with them later on…..many were hidden under the blankets on our bed….then he would hide in the cupboard and take a nap…..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I used to think it would be fun to have a really smart cat. I had one that could open about anything. She'd get into all my food cupboards and even tear open pasta. This was decades ago when those melamine cupboards w/ the oak trim were trendy, so I thought that would slow her down, no handles on them. She figured them out though. I had an old dresser w/ stiff wooden drawers. She'd open the bottom one enough to get the middle one open. Then get that open enough to stand on it to open the top one. It would take her all night to finesse them, just so she could sleep in my underwear drawer on top (where I least wanted her). Darn cat, couldn't keep her out of anything.
You took the fun out of him. Kidding! Yes, they can be persuaded to cooperate. Not that hard, either. You just have to do it right, on the cat's terms and very respectfully. Everybody needs good manners, even cats.
I have had several cats over the years, currently have one who's 13 who is just a young spirit, she knocks things off, anything Is a toy, no amount of training could stop her, I've tried, some cats just have more character and her case no shame lol wouldn't change her for the world

We have taken in a lot of sick cats here. We know they probably won't live long. We just want them to know love, and a home. 2 of our cats now are stray. One just came I 3 yrs ago, and my mom's cat came up to us on day, and got in my lap, then he decided he wanted mom. We couldn't find him, when we moved. We had bought a camper, and put everything in storage for a year. We left with the camper, and 30 minutes later he pooped out. We have no idea we're he hid.

Mmmh, I wonder why there are so many videos, where the cats keep clawing to keep the owner away from something they have. I have had cats for the last 25 years and never has one of them done that to me. Even if they have their favorite plaything/mouse in their mouth and are really growling like the one at 3:44, I still can pull the toy right out of their mouth without them lifting their paw.
I have 2 cats: 1 gigantic female and a little tiny female kitten. I found that in order for my cats not to steal my food, I cut a very small amount of what I am eating (wiped clean of herbs and spices that are dangerous to cats) and set it on the floor so I can eat calmly and quietly, without little paws pawing at my food. Also, I stopped my cats from trying to grab all sorts of electrical wires by SHOUTING VERY LOUDLY "NO" or using a loud "UH UH", no matter what, just as long as it is LOUD. Lastly, I do not have shelves with small nit nacks. I bought a glass enclosed case from IKEA, With a door in which I have my nit nacks and other items that I treasure - and the cats can't get into it. In other words, I cat proofed my home so nothing falls on the floor. I do not have "OCD" nor am I a cleaning freak, but I value my things which remind of earlier times and which I don't want broken. That is why I have trouble with these videos of cats dropping glasses off the counters; climbing on shelves where nick nacks are kept, etc. Also, no curtains. I have cats, and I also do not want my breakables broken.
Have 2 kittens, thought I catproofed the house. My mistake. Now lampshades are all off. Plants are destroyed (normal), toilet paper is hidden (normal), but I fear for the television set. If it exists in your home (including your body) then it is a cat toy. Very hard to keep them alive and they need lots of supervision. If you have an adult cat with kittens they do a lot of the work. I put one in time out in the bathroom when they get too crazy. The cat video game on my electronic device used to work as a distraction but they have short attention spans. It takes 2 years to become an adult cat and I hope we make it.
Our last kitty of two passed away in April. This video only shows me how much I don’t want another one….and am also dying to get two more. Even at their worst, cats are just fab. 😂😘
I had a cat who was crazy about black olives. He was big enough that he could stand up by the table a swipe 1 off from the serving dish if it was near the edge. And of coyrse cone back for more. If he couldn't reach the dish he'd yowl begging until you gave some. One day he caught a jalapeño pepper instead, oops. 1st chomp resulted in a loud yowl that rivaled a siren, ran to his water dish and rammed his head into the water. He come near the table, nor begged for anything for a full month. After that he would beg quitely & be satisfied with 1 olive.
There's a reason. The cat is either hungry, the cat simply wants cuddles & pets, or your cat just wants Mommy or Daddy. Trust me - my wife and I get that too.
My cat dose the same thing. He and she wants to go outside. Alley cat and Alley Kittens are out there wanting food and water as well. I have been doing the 3-AM thing for over a year now and like it because I sleep really well until 5 AM coffee time.
because human food is not good for animals? some foods we eat are toxic to animals, or is full of fat, salt, and man made chemicals animals can't safely process. cats are also not able to digest plants very well and should eat meat most of the time. so these owners aren't selfish but instead seeing the best for their pets' health.

1:35 like Loonie Girlie did during her lifetime. That's why I always fast emptied my shopping bags. She was too curious and had to put her furry friend in her pockets. This curiosity and naughtiness had been inherited from my husband. Loonie was also tabby and also had a healthy appetite. Due to age and severe illness, I had to let Loonie cross the Rainbow Bridge. It was the worst decision I had to make. But the scene brought back my memory and made me laugh about it. Just like back then in our kitchen. 😺😺😸😸😼😼😻😻
Back from groceries, cold stuff stowed and out the door for sports practice. Come home to bread sacks well punctured. A new package of socks waiting for a wash before wearing. Punctured package. Something about piercing thru the plastic film to the soft underneath--instincts of piercing the necks of prey? It felt good to them. Molly had to stick her head in every single bag that came into the house. Murphy was more interested in the empty bags. They helped me wrap Christmas packages for 15 years. I'd pull their perch over to the kitchen table so they could keep an eye on everything. Every box sat in. Every sweatpant leg traveled. Every ribbon chased.
Cats prove that the world is not flat because everything would have been pushed of the edge 😂

1:35 like Loonie Girlie did during her lifetime. That's why I always fast emptied my shopping bags. She was too curious and had to put her furry friend in her pockets.
This curiosity and naughtiness had been inherited from my husband. Loonie was also tabby and also had a healthy appetite.
Due to age and severe illness, I had to let Loonie cross the Rainbow Bridge. It was the worst decision I had to make. But the scene brought back my memory and made me laugh about it.

Back from groceries, cold stuff stowed and out the door for sports practice. Come home to bread sacks well punctured. A new package of socks waiting for a wash before wearing. Punctured package. Something about piercing thru the plastic film to the soft underneath--instincts of piercing the necks of prey? It felt good to them. Molly had to stick her head in every single bag that came into the house. Murphy was more interested in the empty bags. They helped me wrap Christmas packages for 15 years. I'd pull their perch over to the kitchen table so they could keep an eye on everything. Every box sat in. Every sweatpant leg traveled. Every ribbon chased.
